GENERAL HOSPITAL UPDATE, THURSDAY MARCH 6

I'LL GET EVEN, I WILL, SO THERE, NYAAAH!
Laura tells Stefan that yes, they're leaving.  Luke is going with her.
She will never, ever, forgive Stefan.  [Your Fearless Updater thinks
Laura does crying very well, and rage for the poor quite adequately, but
rage for herself extremely badly.]   He doesn't care.  She looks smug,
though who knows why.  They call each other names.  She can't see Nik.
He makes her say out loud that he is Nik's father, but if Luke lurks, he
doesn't hear it.  "I'm warning you, Stefan [*yawn*]... if you betray me,
I will have revenge on you the likes of which you can't possibly imagine...
I was a Cassadine, too."

She goes home.  Amy is there visiting Leslie.  She's so happy Leslie is
there and doing so well, so Laura tells her they're leaving.  She does
say she'll write.  Amy erupts: "You are always constantly leaving and I'm
tired of it." Laura asks her to keep an eye on Nikolas.

Luke gets home and looks truly shaken.  Tune in tomorrow when we hear him
say: "I have no idea what this story is about or when/where the writers will
change it next."

BOBBIE BUYS A CLUE.
Mortitia Addams, in Adrian's favorite dress, is at Wyndemere with
Felicia.  Felicia is curious as to why Katherine appeared at the hearing.
Bobbie doesn't know, and doesn't care.  Felicia asks why Stefan hired Kevin.
Bobbie tells her: "SteFAWN isn't like other businessmen."  Look at the
expenses for Katherine.  Felicia: "What does that have to do with Kevin?"
"I suppose he just wants to give her a second chance ... my husband
really takes great pleasure in taking in wounded birds and making them
whole again."  Felicia: "Does that apply to you?"  It takes a minute for
Bobbie to comprehend this, and then she Widens Her Eyes.  Bobbie is
disappointed that Felicia thinks she's so pathetic that SteFAWN married
her for pity.  Felicia points out that they didn't have a very long
courtship.  She tells Bobbie that Tom blames Stefan for Steve's death.
Mortitia doesn't believe that, but Felicia says "Maybe there are some
things about your husband that you don't know."  [Naaaah, couldn't be.]
Stefan comes in, Felicia leaves, and Bobbie, clinging to the thought,
says: "SteFAWN, why did you marry me?"

LET ME OUT OF HERE!
Katherine is looking at the crystal tree and nearly throws it out, but lo
and behold, Lucky has come to see her.  He wants to thank her for
speaking up at the DA's office.  She asks him what's really on his mind, and
he apologixes for leaving the gun and putting her in the wheelchair.  She
tells him it was no one's fault, it was just plain rotten luck.  He keeps
on and on about Stefan, and she stuffs the crystal pendant into her
putse.  Lucky is desperate to convince her that it wasn't his dad.  The
Cassadines "hate us and would do anything to hurt us." Nikolas appears,
ans adds "Whereas the Spencers never do anything wrong and wouldn't hurt
a flea."  The two boys paw the ground and stomp and snort.  I thought I
was looking at a nature film.  Katherine is furious.  She points out that
they are brothers and the same blood runs through their veins.  Lucky
denies it: "No, I'm nothing like this self-centered phony with all his
money and fancy airs.  [Well, it is true that Lucky doesn't have money,
but 3 out of 4 ain't bad.]  He thinks he's better than everybody else."
Nik: "With competition like you, what choice do I have?"  Katherine
throws them both out.  Nik tells Lucky that the medical records are
available.  Lucky won't tell him thanks.

Katherine is annoyed with Nik.  They have to make peace before they end
up like Stefan and Luke.  Nik goes back to work, and Lucky comes up and
thanks him, which confused Your Fearless Updater.

WELCOME TO PORT CHARLES, WHERE WE'VE NEVER HEARD OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION!
Jax is pacing at the police station.  Mac hasn't found the Port Charles
Greenery.  [He should have put out an APB for it!]  Mike defends Sonny.
Mac says "we're tracing the cab" [Translation, they put out an APB for
the cab.]  Mac tells Jax: "Screaming and yelling isn't going to get
Brenda back any faster!"  Jax says that Jason might.  Mac, guess what,
has "an APB on Jason, but don't get your hopes up."  Mike and Jax argue,
and the phone rings.  They found Jason.  Mac tells the operator, who
presumably knew where he was because the phone call went there, that they
are in Interrogation Room Three.  A cop drags in a handcuffed Jason,
fighting with a handcuffed Mr. Franklin.  Franklin:  "I'm the victim of
an assault!"  Mac: "Tell me when I want to listen!"  Your Fearless
Updater: "Bring in the ACLU!!"  Jason glares.  Franklin: "What about me?
I want these cuffs off!"  Mac: "SIT!"  Franklin (about Miranda): "Who is
she, your head detective?"  [No, obviously she would do a better job!]
Mac: "Shut Up!"  [Don't you just love power bullies?]  Jason glares.  He
finally says that Franklin knows who made the call to Sonny.  Franklin
denies it, and says "The kid's a mental case, I want to press charges."
Mac: "You're going to be facing charges if you don't shut up!"
Jason says the guy is a loan shark and fronts for whoever pays him, so he
knows who placed the call.  Franklin: "I'm telling you, he's nuts."  Jax
attacks Franklin.  Mac pulls Jax off the handcuffed man with Minsipid
whispering "stop!"  Franklin: "That's two assaults in one day." Mac:
"You'd better get used to it."  Your Fearless Updater: "You won't get a
fair trial in THIS city!" Mac wants to know who has Franklin's phone: "If
you can't tell me, I just may put you in a holding cell with Mr. Morgan
and Mr. Jax here and see if they can't get it out of you."  Franklin:
"That's a violation of my civil rights!"  Civil rights, a foreign concept
to Mac.  And to Jax: "If you had anything to do with my wife's abduction,
then 'civil rights' is the least of your worries."  [Certainly the least
of the writers' worries, you think?] Mac: "Mr. Jacks has got a point.
Not to mention how upset Mr. Corinthos' business associates are going to
be when they find out what you did."

Franklin panics.  We don't want the Godfather annoyed with us.  "He never
said he was going after Sonny."  He admits it was Harry Silver.  Mike
asks Jason about Harry.  He tells Jason that Jason MUST tell, it's too
big for just Jason.  So Jason tells about Harry and Rivera.  Franklin
tells them where the office is.  Max finds a judge for a search warrant.
[Of course not, I just wanted to see if you were paying attention!]  They
storm over to the office where Mac tells Jax, Jason, Mike and Miranda
that they are only there by courtesy.  [He's got a different copy of Miss
Manners than I do!]  They kick the door in: "All right, tear the place
apart."  Miranda gasps.  She's seen a crumpled picture of Brenda.  Jax
panics.  Mac looks in a drawer [!] and finds a black book.

I'M NOT READY TO DIE (Whatever happened to "let's die together in the
snow, Sonny?")

Sonny has claustrophobic flashbacks of Deke locking him in a closet.
There is still only the ONE miraculous lantern, the one that becomes two
lanterns and is ever-burning.  No Energizer Bunny in sight.  Brenda wakes
and comforts Sonny.  She's cold.  She feels so sick.  He asks about the
pills.  She realizes Harry was right.  She tells him how she started
taking them more and more, though she doesn't explain how she got so many.
Brenda asks what he thinks will happen.  Sonny: "We close our eyes, fall
asleep, and never wake up."  Brenda, who has grown up a lot in the year
since the avalanche, says "I'm not ready to die....We're both pretty
pathetic, aren't we?  So screwed up we don't even know when we're dying."
Sonny: "A match made in Heaven."  She didn't know the detais about Lily's
death, Harry, Rivera, and Sonny tells her.  She had thought his world "was
romantic and sexy, but it really is ugly, isn't it?"  They talk.  Her
worst day was when he came back from Puerto Rico and found her with
Miguel and called her a whore. (He apologizes).  "It didn't make me feel
better, it never does.  Why can't we stop hurting each other?"  Sonny
tells her she's part of him, and he loves her.
