        at the gatehouse

Ned has flashback:  He is saying goodbye to Brooke, then Lois and baby
leave.  :back to present.  Monica arrives, she would like to try to
explain things to Lois.  She feels very guilty.  Ned discusses the ending
of his marriage with Monica.  He says it isn't fixable.  They discuss
Alan's anger and try to figure out how Dorman got the info about Ned and
Monica.

        at lighthouse (new set)

Lucy and Kevin discuss Stefan's job offer.  Lucy offers Kevin a job at
Jacks cosemetics which he declines.  Lucy begs him not to accept the
Cassadine job, but he leaves to meet with Stefan and Lucy seems resigned.

        at Windermere

Alexis is aghast that Stefan told Kat he shot her.  She is ready to start
arranging his bail money.  Stefan says Kat won't go to the police and Nic
walks in.  Alexis registers complete skepticism.  Nic wants to know why
Kat won't go to police when everyone knows Luke shot Kat.  Luke should
just be arrested already.  Stefan continues to lie to Nic and Alexis
tries to explain circumstancial evidence to him.  Nic says the Spencers
will all pay, including Laura.  Alexis asks if Stefan feels the same way.
[does she know about Stefan's feelings for Laura?] They discuss Timoria
and Luke's weakness, ie. his love for his family.  Alexis looks less than
thrilled with the discussion but notes after Nic leaves that Stefan and
Nic are as close as ever.  Alexis wants to prepare for the Kat thing to
blow up in their faces.  Stefan say he trusts Kat and that he has it all
under control. [NLG was absolutely fabulous in these scenes!]

        at the Spencers

Luke and Laura discuss their lives and Justus comes over.  He tells them
about Ned's blackmail which could jepordize Luke's defense.  Justus tells
Laura that he shot Damian.  Laura is furious but Justus makes no excuses
just apologizes profusely.  He wants to make amends in any way he can.
Laura says she needs to think about it and he leaves. Luke and Laura
discuss Justus's confession. (while a semi-catatonic Lesley eats lunch)
Laura accepts the reason why Luke didn't tell her at the time (Lulu's
illness). She sees parallels between her feelings of betrayal and the way
the town is feeling about her.

        at the gatehouse

Justus comes to see Ned and tells his to go ahead and tell about Damian.
Ned says he won't but that he hope Justus comes back to ELQ after Luke's
case is settled.  Justus leaves, Alexis arrives.  She apologizes for not
being able to protect Ned on the witness stand and is sympathetic about
his failed marriage, then leaves.  [hmm, attraction there?]

        at Wyndermere

Kevin meets with Stefan and Nic.  His is offered a VP of Human relations
type job which he indicates he will accept.  Kevin leaves.  Nic and
Stefan dicuss his genius and related crazyness but no matter since Kevin
has something they need.

        at the Spencers

Lucy arrives in a panic about Kevin and the job.  Luke and Lucy try to
figure out what Stefan could possibly want from Kevin.  Laura points out
that though they are grateful for Lucy's help with Luke's bail they
really don't have time to help Lucy when they have to deal with all their
own problems.  Luke walks Lucy to her car and Laura runs out the back
door.

        at the Q's

Alan berates Monica, he wants to be filled in on any affairs he might not
know about.  They play the blame game.  Alan's self-rightgeous anger
seems excessive, he goes out but comes back with candy and all is
sweetness and light.  [are those drugs altering his moods] They make love
on the floor of their bedroom.  [I hope that rug is thick].

        at Lighthouse

Kevin tells Lucy about the job he has accepted.  Lucy has a vision of him
dead encased in ice.  She tells him about it but he is still taking the
job.

        at  the Spencers

Lucky comes home at lunchtime.  None of his friends will speak with him.
Nic shows up on their doorstep.

        at Wyndermere

Laura shows up to see Stefan.
