Update 2/12

In spite (or perhaps, because) of several short scenes, a broad cast,
and fairly quick editing, not a whole lot happened today, but several
actions were set up. Namely...

Ned was called to the witness stand in Dorman's harrassment suit
against Monica. This came as a surprise to Monica, who was
stunned, and Alexis, who argued (unsuccessfully) against the
surprise witness. As far as we know, Alexis is still uninformed
of Ned and Monica's past affair, so this should be a great test
of her lawyerin' skills.

Lucy asked Luke, Sonny & Jason to look into what possible motives
the Cassadines would have for wanting to work so closely with
her Doc. This followed yet another disagreement between Lucy
and Kevin over said Cassadine involvement.

Justus will become Luke's lawyer. Thanks to the hefty donation
that Ned & ELQ lavished on the Ward House, Justus told Luke,
he's leaving the corporate life. While Luke did need a little
persuading, in the end he decided that Justus showed his
worth as a lawyer by keeping his cool when he'd previously
defended Laura against charges for a crime that he'd committed.
(Updater's comment: guess all is forgiven)
Justus also told Lois about the donation. Lois was
skeptical of Ned's motive; Justus chose not to look the gift
horse in the mouth, and even attributed to Ned the high road.

Felicia is looking twice at Tom, and not liking the view; she
wrung a peel over his head after reading the story of Laura
and Leslie's miraculous recovery in the paper.
Most telling line: "The thing I loved about you the most..."

Keesha informed Herr Commandant Taggert that she'll gladly
use her Quartermaine connections to dig up evidence tying
Sonny to the PC drug scene. This was after she pushed A.J.
for info on Karen Wexler's days of stripping at Sonny's
night club, where she developed a slight pill habit.

Emily and Lois had a nice girl chat, where Lois encouraged
Em to, more or less, keep her head on straight. While this
was going on, Matt was upstairs reading Emily's journal
(updaters comment: Rat!).

Lois & Ned: Okay, we all know where this is going.
Initially at the Q's, Monica ordered (in not so many words)
Ned away from the day's court session, saying that she
already had plenty of Q support and that he should
spend time with Lois & Brook Lyn. Lois, however, wasn't
comfortable with the idea of a full day in Ned's company
and sent him off to the courthouse.

   Bad move...
