[an extremely brief update for a stupefyingly boring Friday episode :(]

Jason shot down Robin's argument against starting new anti-AIDS regime.  He
asked her if she was hanging onto the disease as a way of hanging onto Stone.
They talked things out.

Katherine was anxious to start physical therapy. She had a visit from Edward
Quartermaine, who brought her girlish geegaws. Later on she dreamed of her
nocturnal missionary, er "handsome stranger", Stefan.

Taggart hung around the Outback Club and was interested to see Sonny and Tom
engaged in a serious conversation. He also noted Jason leaping around and
brought to Mac's attention the number of underworldly people in his
establishment. Mac told him to get a life.

At their safe house, the Spencers were getting jumpy. Tom phoned to tell them
that he had succeeded in getting Lesley a slot at a famous Swiss looney clinic
but they had to get her there within 24 hours. He planned on accompanying
them, should Lesley have difficulty during the trip, etc., and to pave her way
into the hospital. He lied to Felicia and told her he had to whiz over to
Switzerland to accept some award. Filly told Mac, and Mac decided to tail the
Hardy boy.  Through the window, he saw Tom with the supposedly dead Laura
inside the hideout, though he appeared not to notice it was Laura since her
back was turned. Possibly, he'll report back that Tom is having an affair.

In the courtroom, Monica squared off against Pierce Dorman. After an
acrimonious afternoon of testimony, Alan lost his temper, rushed the witness
box, and belted Pierce in the face.
