                            GH Update for 01/24/97

Some of the scenes of this update will contain the new TV Update Ratings.

Scene 1
On her favorite bridge, Robin reminisces about Stone bunjee jumping.

Scene 2
In his car, Jax and Miranda head for the County Clerk's office to get their
divorce. Of course, it's snowing hard.
Scene 3
Stephan tells Bobbie he has a meeting at GH that night, he fails to mention
it's probably to visit Katherine. She asks him to cancel it and stay home with
her. He agrees to.
Scene 4
Katherine insists to Tony that she wants to go home. He strongly advises
against it. Meanwhile, Nikolas listens at the door.
Scene 5
Bobbie snuggles [as closely as she can get that is] up to Stephan, and they
discuss his involvement with GH in general and Katherine in particular.  She
tells him she understands his desire to help Katy, but he needs to let her heal
herself.
[Rating: TV-IC, Incredibly Clueless]
Scene 6
At the club, Brenda bitches to Sonny about his scheming with Miranda.
[Rating: TV-GA, Generally Annoying]
Scene 7
Meanwhile, Felicia notices Brenda and Sonny and comments to Tom that maybe
Miranda is right about Brenda keeping both Jax and Sonny on the hook. Tom
suddenly gets a call and goes off to take it.  When he returns, he says he
needs to leave immediately.
Scene 8
Jason joins Robin on the bridge. She rambles on a bit morosely about wishing
she were like Jason.
Scene 9
Nikolas returns home, and Bobbie asks if he saw Katherine.  He complains of her
refusal to even try to walk again.  Stephan begins to look anxious when Bobbie
urges Nikolas not to blame himself as the guilt is with the man who shot her.
Scene 10
Brenda mopes around her home alone, while at the County Clerk's office, Jax and
Miranda prepare to sign the final divorce papers while they both flash back to
more romantic times.

Scene 11
Debra lectures Katherine at length about being a whining self-pitying child.
Kate tells her to get lost.
[Rating: TV-EM, Excessively Maudlin]
Scene 12
Bobbie and Stephan try to comfort Nikolas who feel guilty about Katherine since
she came to see him when she was shot.
Scene 13
Bobbie gets a call from Tony saying Lucas is sick and wants his mommy.  She
immediately says she'll be right over and dumps Stephan suggesting he
reschedule his meeting with his "accountant" at GH.
Scene 14
Mac joins the now abandoned Felicia. He asks if she wants to join him for a
visit to Katherine; she accepts

Scene 15
Mike tells Sonny that an ice storm has made the roads icy. Sonny says he's
worried about Brenda being alone with Jax out of town.
[Rating: TV-GTF, Gratuitous Time Filler]
Scene 16
Katherine phones Mac at the club and lies saying all her physical therapy has
worn her out so not to come visit her. She doesn't mention her intention of
going home.
Scene 17
Robin and Jason jabber while sitting on the edge of the bridge.  She is
particularly glum and breaks into tears [not in the least bit convincingly]
saying she's not going to be afraid any more; it ruins everything. When Jason
tries to comfort and hold her, she yells at him to get away and nobody tells
her what to do.
[Rating: TV-AMD, Attempt by Munchkin-like actor to do serious Drama]
Scene 18
Stephan goes to see Katherine at GH.
Scene 19
Tom arrives at the hideout to see Leslie Webber.  Luke, minus most of his hair,
[well, whatever there was of it] answers the door.
Scene 20
Brenda sees a note stuck under her door and finds a present outside.  She
immediately phones Sonny and yells at him.
Scene 21
Jax and Miranda head back to PC. Predictably, they argue a bit, and Jax has to
swerve, presumably off the road.
