                            GH Update for 11/22/96

Scene 1
Brenda lurks in the shrubbery by Mac's while Jax and Miranda talk.  Miranda
asks him to tell her to leave.
Scene 2
Tom brings GH documents to Luke indicating GH was set up to fail.
Scene 3
Lucky continues to be obsessed with the Timoria game. Laura begins to get
concerned. He tries to explain the game [funny he never mentions the name
Timoria], but she orders him to stop and do his homework.  However, when she
leaves he continues to play.
Scene 4
Alexis comes to see Stephan who's toying with the unsuspecting Lucky.  Stephan
tells her she's going to represent Monica.
Scene 5
Luke and Tony discuss the information implicating the Cassidines. Tom wants to
go public, but Luke urges restraint.
Scene 6
Jax tells Miranda he can't tell her to go, and their past has nothing to do
with Brenda. He says he loved Miranda. She replies that it's over, and he
should accept that like she does. She remarks she still has his letters. He
says that since the explosion his life has been a lie, and she's the only one
who can give him the truth.
Scene 7
After Jax leaves, Mac comes out, and he and Miranda go in to discuss their new
living arrangements. Inside, they talk about Jax and her.  Mac says he believes
Jax still loves her. At Mac's masochistic request, she goes into a long
description of Jax's and her love-at-first-sight meeting and wedding.
Scene 8
Monica and Alan await her cancer test results; as usual, he is supportive. Jax
appears to ask about his father, and Monica tells him his father can go home to
Alaska but should not work for a while.
Scene 9
Brenda arrives, and Jax tells her he's asked Miranda to stay in PC.  She asks
why, and he says it has nothing to do with his feelings about Miranda if that's
what she thinks. She snaps that she doesn't know what he thinks since he never
told her. He says he can't [of course, she never mentions her eavesdropping].
Scene 10
Laura goes to Luke's Club, and they fake another public argument.  After going
outside, Laura expresses her concern about Lucky's game.
Scene 11
Alexis asks Nikolas about his mother. He says he likes her and thinks she's
smart. They all seem to believe that Luke and Laura are really split. Stephan
explains the sexual harassment case he wants her to take.
Scene 12
As Stephan's automated alter takes over, Lucky reaches Level 3 and recognizes
it as a radio tower he knows. He splits to go find it.
Scene 13
Luke and Laura arrive home and find Lucky gone. Luke checks out the game and
sees the name Timoria. He decides to play it.
Scene 14
Mac continues to ask Miranda about Jax and her. She tells him about love
letters Jax wrote her [anybody want to bet these come out].  Mac gets a call
from Luke saying Lucky was missing and wants an APB, i.e. All Points Bulletin,
put out. [why because some brat is out of the house a few minutes?]
Scene 15
More Jax rambling about why he never told Brenda about Miranda.  He tells
Brenda he needs her to stick with him.
Scene 16
Luke continues to play Timoria on Lucky's high speed virtual subspace connected
notebook PC.
Scene 17
Tom tells Felicia about the documents implicating the Cassidines.  They dance
and briefly discuss Luke, Laura, and the Cassidines.
Scene 18
At GH, Alexis introduces herself to Monica who says she'll consider letting
Alexis represent her. Dr. Cahill finally arrives and tells Monica the good news
that all her tests were fine.
Scene 19
Tom and Felicia dance and kiss.
Scene 20
Alone, a moist doe-eyed Miranda looks over old billets-doux (love letters for
you Franco-challenged) while at GH Brenda asks Jax if he still loves Miranda.
Scene 21
Luke gets to Level 2, and Laura recognizes the picture as the old D&R Railroad
tunnel. She heads out while Luke continues.
Scene 22
Meanwhile, on the other side, Stephan notices a change in tactics in what he
assumes is still Lucky.
Scene 23
Lucky and Foster stumble around in the dark. Suddenly, Lucky steps into
quicksand and begins sinking. He calls out to Foster who will no doubt pull him
out. [Update Information Note: if any of you loyal update readers should happen
to step into quicksand on the way to school or work, you should not panic.
Remember quicksand is very heavy, and you will easily float. Do not struggle
just lie back and slowly let your legs float up. When you are horizontal, you
can gently propel yourself to solid ground. See and you thought this was just a
fluff piece.]
