     Update for Tuesday, 11/19/96

     Today:  Everyone is Angry

     Main characters:
          Monica, AJ, Alan, Jason
          Tony, Lucas, Bobbie, Carly
          Luke, Tom Hardy
          Kevin, Lucy, Stefan
          Nikolas, Emily

     Also appearing:
          Mike

     Apology:  I had some VCR trouble and missed some pieces of the opening
     segment.

          AJ tells Monica that Emily's upset.  Monica snaps at AJ, saying
     she hasn't mentioned Dorman to Emily.
          At Luke's, Luke is meditating on the Faberge egg.  Tom walks in.
     He and Luke are working together to find the Cassadine connection in
     GH's bankruptcy.
          Kevin and Stefan are in Kevin's room at GH.  They say something
     [sorry--VCR gap here].  Lucy enters.
          [more gap ;(]  Tony and Bobbie are home, sitting on either side
     of Lucas, giving him the speech every kid in America doesn't want to
     hear:  "Mommy/Daddy and I still love you but...it's not your fault,
     etc."  Lucas, as expected, tries not to look too upset and bolts for
     school.  Tony acts like a jerk and refuses to stick around to talk to
     Lucas later that evening.  He's packed and he's leaving.

          {opening credits play}

          Tony says Bobbie is punishing him for Carly by divorcing him.
     Tony also says he won't tell Lucas about Carly, and Bobbie is
     relieved.  They fight some more when Bobbie mentions having gone to
     Florida to find out about her daughter.  Another thing Tony didn't
     know about!  Tony says Luke saw Bobbie in Stefan's arms and asked Tony
     to stay with her to "save" her.  Tony taunts Bobbie over that, things
     disintegrate even more, Bobbie asks Tony to leave.
          At the club, Luke mentions Timoria to Tom.  Luke tells Tom to
     stay on the trail, saying he and Laura broke up over Stefan.
          Monica tells AJ Alan already reinstated Dorman.  AJ storms
     out.  Alan is trying to call Monica on the phone, but she's not
     answering it.
          Kevin reintroduces Lucy and Stefan.  Lucy is cold as ice.
     Stefan says GH will support Kevin 100%.  Kevin says he and Stefan
     have lots in common.  Lucy doesn't trust Stefan.
          Emily, looking truly downcast, is hanging around at the nurse's
     station.  Nikolas talks to her, and she says she's there to see how
     Monica's follow-up checkup was.  (Emily knows Monica missed it).
          AJ bursts onto the second-floor nurse's station and yells at
     Alan about Monica.
          At the cabin, Jason brings Carly groceries.
          Alan returns home; he and Monica argue [quite a change from
     their usual lovefest].  Alan says he was trying to protect her;
     Monica says she'll protect herself and will resign rather than work
     with Dorman.
          Tony wants to know what Jason is to Carly.  Jason leaves this
     scene of weirdness and Tony says there'll be no more sneaking around.
     He moved out and trusts Carly completely.
          Luke is fixating on the Cassadine pendant-crest when Bobbie storms
     in, demanding to know why Luke has been talking to Tony.  Bobbie tells
     Luke Carly is still in town *and* Tony moved in with her.  The news
     visibly hits Luke between the eyes.

          {and the ambulance races by}

          Luke says Tony and Carly are just a mid-life crisis.  Bobbie says
     she and Stefan are friends; Luke labels that a catastrophe and says
     Stefan is using her to attack Luke in a plot to systematically wreck
     Luke's life.  Bobbie says Luke screwed up his own marriage.  She rushes
     off and (someone?) drops the Cassadine pendant to the floor.  Bobbie
     flashes back to the pendant against Stefan's naked chest when they were
     in bed together.  Luke says Stefan will be the biggest mistake of her
     life; Bobbie says her biggest mistake was trusting Luke and Tony.
          Tony and Carly talk about stupid things they'll do now that
     their great love is no longer a secret.  Carly feels guilty about
     Lucas.  Tony says there'll always be room for Lucas in his life
     [which is why he's not home for his son tonight?].  Tony says he
     feels alive again for the first time since BJ and that he's *never*
     experienced some of these feelings before.
          Alan says he'll refuse Monica's resignation, and she can't
     give up medicine for his mistake.  More fighting.
          Luke now fixating on *both* the egg and the pendant.  Mike
     tells Luke to get over Nikolas; they argue.
          Jason gives a courier a suspicious package.  AJ comes in,
     asks him to help Monica.
          Nikolas interacts with a young boy.  Stefan was watching, of
     course, and compliments Nikolas.  Stefan wants Nikolas to have dinner
     with Laura now that Luke's out of the picture.  Nikolas wants less
     surveillance from Stefan.  Nikolas goes over to Emily, sitting at the
     famous nurse's station couch.
          Kevin mocks Lucy's enthusiasm at his release and wants to know
     why she doesn't like Stefan.  In support of Luke?  Lucy thinks it's
     weird that Alexis is Stefan's cousin (which she just found out one
     minute ago); Kevin says it's nothing.  Lucy gets the "got-to-tell
     Luke" look on her face.  Kevin hates the suit Lucy brought him, even
     though it used to be his favorite.  Translation:  he's *changed.*
       Tom finds the Timoria grant given to GH.  He pockets the disk and
     heads over to Luke's [leaving the mail clearly visible on-screen,
     BTW].  Timoria gave GH millions six months before Steve died.
          Jason won't pretend to be someone he's not.  AJ grabs his arm.
          Monica tells Alan to leave.  Nikolas calls on behalf of Emily.
     Alan answers and Nikolas asks Monica to reschedule.  Alan explodes and
     Monica pouts.
          AJ wants to know what's so great about Sonny?  Why will Jason
     do whatever he says?  [I'd like to know this, too].
          Tom gives Luke the Timoria disk.
          Bobbie returns home and either deeply inhales the scent of *or*
     blows her nose on Tony's tie.  She looks at the family picture on the
     mantle and Tony's "Carly" song plays.  Bobbie can't stand the sound of
     it either and slams the picture down on the mantle.  The music stops.
     She starts freaking out on the couch quietly and flashes back again to
     her and Stefan in bed.  She calls him and hangs up when he answers.  He
     knows perfectly well who it is, and smiles.  *****Stefan opens a small
     velvet box containing a diamond ring as big as Bobbie's old one [which
     I hope and pray she was not stupid enough to return to Tony].
          Carly is having a dream.  [We know this because she's on the bed
     *and* dressed.  Clearly not reality].  Luke bursts in, yelling the
     truth.  Tony goes back to Bobbie and Luke strangles Carly.  She wakes
     up.

          {the end}
