                            GH Update for 10/11/96

Scene 1
Alan wanders around a closed down GH before Monica finally joins him.
Scene 2
Tony, not too unhappy at GH's closing, and Carly prepare to spend another day
of afternoon delights.
Scene 3
Stephan gets word that Tony and Carly are at the cabin and tells his operative,
"You know what to do."
Scene 4
Luke confronts Bobbie as she arrives on the Cassidine island.  She says she's
going to ask Stephan to save GH. He is astounded at her naivete and tells her
Stephan probably closed it down in the first place. Bobbie is highly dubious,
but Luke insists that the Cassidines are not leaving PC no matter what they
say. Bobbie repeatedly defends Stephan causing Luke to ask if she plans to get
"cozy" with him [so why should Stephan be any different than all the other guys
in PC?].  Eventually, she bounces off.
Scene 5
Stephan confirms to Nikolas that they're staying in PC. Nikolas wants to know
what's going on. As they discuss opportunity knocking, Bobbie does so. She
tells them GH is closed. Nikolas looks surprised; Stephan does not.
Scene 6
Tony and Carly play Naughty Scout Leader and the Brownie while toasting
marshmallows. Tony tells her he needs a change [ya, underwear], and he feels
something wonderful is coming [sheesh, get a clue Doc].
Scene 7
Alan continues to whine with self-pity to Monica who eventually tickles him to
shut him up. AJ saunters in saying he tried to raise money with the State
[probably used the city money to buy lottery tickets]. He suggests they go to
the Outback where other GH expatriates are gathered.
Scene 8
At the Outback, the out-of-work GH'ers mill around and mean-mouth Alan while
talking-up Steve Hardy. Tom picks up the banner and delivers a rousing keep
your chins-up speech.
Scene 9
Mac chats with Katy about Felicia, and they lock lips.
Scene 10
Felicia tells Tom she's going to Texas to get her kids. He expresses a desire
to go but feels the little people need him there.
Scene 11
When Luke stops by Tony's house looking for him, he overhears Carly's mother
leaving a phone message and picks up the phone. She tells him Carly called
again.
Scene 12
While Tony and Carly chat, she says she saw a man lurking outside.
Scene 13
Over a drink, Bobbie hits on Stephan for a GH bail out. She tries to say he can
show he's not as big a creep as everyone thinks he is, but he turns her down
cold.
Scene 14
Carly's mother tells Luke Carly asked her to gather up some old things, and she
might come for them. She mentions that Carly called collect so they will find
out where she is when the bill comes.  Afterwards, Luke fakes a call from Mac
to the phone company to get the number traced.
Scene 15
At the cabin, Tony investigates outside but doesn't find anyone.  Carly
suggests they stop talking about the future. He tells her no matter what
happens he will try to never hurt her.
Scene 16
Through his ruse, Luke finds where Carly called from; when he calls the number,
he gets the Outback. He immediately calls Laura and leaves a message saying
he's going to Florida to follow up a lead on Bobbie's daughter.
Scene 17
More Outback milling. Felicia tells Mac she wants to go to Texas but not alone,
and Tom can't go. Of course, he volunteers to go with her.
Scene 18
Alan arrives at the Outback and is treated as though he were Quasimodo wearing
a scarlet GH.
Scene 19
Nikolas questions why Stephan turned Bobbie down. He suggests saving GH would
isolate Luke and destroy him. Stephan applauds his reasoning but hints there is
a bit more needed.
Scene 20
Tony and Carly make out while a black gloved figure fingers an icepick outside.
Scene 21
Felicia tells Tom Mac is going with her to Texas then blurts the news to
Katherine just as Mac is trying to tell her. She is not pleased.
Scene 22
As Alan continues to kvetch to Monica, he gets a call from Stephan who wants to
talk about GH.
Scene 23
Bobbie arrives home to an empty house. She takes a wrapped anniversary gift for
Tony from a drawer and wishes herself a happy anniversary.
Scene 24
Luke arrives in Florida [what did he do beam there?] and tells Virginia that
Carly called from PC. He asks to see her pictures, but it's not clear if he
recognizes her.
Scene 25
Carly snuggles with Tony until he decides it's time to go home.  She asks to
drive.
Scene 26
The dark figure punctures one of Tony's tires.
