Well, I went on a 9-day Take-the-Kid-to-College-and-go-Camping vacation,
so a *tish* late, here is the update for
THURSDAY, AUGUST 29

CARLY HAS A BAD DAY
Bobbie is telling Carly off (she's picking on her especially since C.
knows about the daughter-secret) and Tony overhears, and later he asks
Carly what's up. Then she goes into Jason's room and sees Jason and
Robin hugging and starts to cry, and Tony sees this. Later he tracks her
down at the nurse's station, where a still-upset Carly is dropping files and
making a mess, and Tony tells her "You have a tender heart, and there's
nothing wrong with that." He hugs her to make her feel better, and Bobbie
sees it. Bobbie widens her eyes.

JASON AND ROBIN
Mac practically drags Robin into GH. She wants to see Jason. Meanwhile
Jason and Alan are talking when Monica, "fresh" from being with Dr.
Dorman, comes in and asks how Jason is. He wants to see Robin. Sonny
comes in and asks Audrey for Jason, but only immediate family is allowed
with him. Sonny will stick around. Laura comes in to sign the marrow
registry donor form, which she forgot to do (??) and talks to Sonny. She
will find out what she can. She tells him the care is the best possible.
Dorman comes in and talks to Monica, who tells him she wants him nowhere
near her son. She is furious that he turned off her beeper, and that he
thinks she'd cast off her clothes as easily as her professional
principles. [Yes, I think it's backwards, too, but that's what she said.]
Laura interrupts them, Dr. Dork leaves, and Laura and Monica, who are
dressed alike, talk about their estranged sons.

Mac, who ought to listen to his messages more frequently, or act on them
more quickly, listens to a message from Kevin asking him to come see his
latest painting. Mac plays phone tag and gets K's machine. Katherine
comes in and finds out about Robin. Mac says [Line of the Day: he's been
around Luke too much!] "I hate these ignorant self-righteous people,
especially when they're put in a position of authority!" Katybelle
apologizes for interfering, but Mac admits he, too, would have "let" Robin
go... heck, that he hasn't the power to "let" her do anything.

Mac and Sonny talk. Mac says Robin is in danger whenever she's around
Sonny. "You're not blaming ME for the action of bad cops?...Robin's love
is the last gift Stone ever gave me. I honor that and I protect it With
My Life. No harm will ever come to Robin because of me."

Tony is talking to Jason. "Follow my finger." "Are you trying to
hypnotize me?" Tony has a few questions. Jason says "Oh, Man! Is this
where we ponder why people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones?"
"Well, we *could*, but those take a little time to answer and I don't
think you want to be in the hospital any longer than necessary, do you?"
When Jason finds out Robin is waiting, he spits out the answers to Tony's
questions before Tony can ask them, what year it is, where he is, who he
is, who Tony is. He flies to the door into Robin's arms.

Alan tells Mac Robin is fine. Mac worries about TB or other stuff, Alan
reassures him that Robin is careful about checkups. Garcia comes up. No
more sightings of Kevin at Felicia's, but they should have picked him up
sooner. Garcia suspects Mac is dragging his feet because Kevin is his
friend.

Jason and Robin talk. "I wanted to give you a good memory to take to
college, and instead you end up in jail." They hug, which Carly sees.
Tony wants to keep Jason overnight, and Robin shouldn't stay. Alan sees
Sonny and is rude. Robin comes out in the hall... Jason is asking for Sonny.

EVERYONE (BUT FELICIA) SUSPECTS DR. COLLINS
Tom is at his desk listening to tapes when Felicia comes in. She
listens, too, and the penny drops. Why, someone had access to Tom's
tapes and spliced them. How awful. It must be someone who knows her.
Tom doesn't think she'll crack, but she really doesn't want to know who
it is. Tom thinks she should go to Texas. He wants to stay and see it
through.

Lucy, in a quiet panic, talks to Don about the computer. She wants to
know about outgoing phone calls. He tells about a modem and tape
recorder while meanwhile Kevin is finding, guess what, a modem and tape
recorder in his desk. Lucy calls herself a "technoboob" who can't even
program her VCR. Don assures her "that's because they are designed by
sadists." Lucy discovers it's far too easy. She gets rid of Don and is
very worried. She checks the calendar and Kevin's appointment book. She
calls Mrs. Moore, who's been rescheduled. No, the appointment was
cancelled completely.

Kevin listens to his answering machine. It's from Mac (and is where the
"it's me, Mac. It's Garcia" comes from.) Kevin is looking at his desk
key when Lucy knocks and then comes in. She rattles about actually
knocking, and asks his advice on an ad campaign involving a computer,
modem, and tape recorder. He stares through her while toying with the key.
She asks what it is. He puts it down and says he's going to the 8th
floor and he would like her to wait. He knows he can trust her to do the
Right Thing. Lucy panics. She really does NOT want to know what the key
is to, and she follows Kevin to the 8th floor.

Kevin suggests a drive to the lake, and Lucy agrees and leaves. Kevin
sees himself (darn! Thought this was really happening!) going to Mac: "I
think I need your help. Things are happening that I can't explain. I
can't even remember them. I'm afraid of what they might mean. I'm
terrified of where they're going. And I can't stop it." Mac then slaps
him on the back and says "I'm there for you, pal..." and then as Kevin
starts to actually do this, Dara comes up to Mac and starts talking.
Alt. Kevin returns. Mac's phone rings (how come he GETS this message,
but not the others??) and it's Felicia, telling him she's leaving for
Texas. Mac will send Garcia.

Lucy is back in her office, diddling Jax cosmetics down the same drain
Deception was in. She's on the phone to Don lying that she's looking at
the Brenda pictures when she's actually looking at herself and Kevin.
She has a series of flashbacks, even one with Sigmund(!! I MISS my duck!!),
and remembers that she's supposed to do the "Right Thing." She leaves.
When she gets to Kevin's office, Tom is there looking at the electronic
equipment.

The painting of Mother and Child gets slashed.

Kevin looks at the house painting and gets a pained expression. He calls
Mac's machine again and leaves an "I REALLY need to see you" message.
Then he listens to Felicia calling him, and a peculiar expression crosses
his face.
