GH UPDATE, THURSDAY AUGUST 1

MAC BUYS A CLUE
Mac apologizes to Katherine for being so busy. She's understanding
(I think, myself, she's interested in Brian!) As she leaves, Kevin comes
in. Mac wants a profile on the stalker... would he, for instance, stop
his activities because of trauma in his life? Kevin figures out that Mac
is interested in Tom. Mac is surprised that Kevin could figure this out.
(Well, Duh!) Kevin says that stalkers normally go after the
unattainable. It can start with uncontrollable feelings, centered on an
authority figure.

Katherine shows Brian (the Stone-Clone) his pictures. For the best one,
he was reciting Gray's _Anatomy_. Lucy comes in looking for Kevin, looks
at the pictures and tells Katherine they're "so specially clever." Katy
grits her teeth and orders a 3-olive martini. Meanwhile, Lucy is
rattling to her Doc about vacation plans but he can't go. Mac needs him
to help track down Lucy's stalker, and Tom can't help, since his father's
recent death. Mac calls Katherine, he's not coming. She's
understanding, in contrast to Lucy, who is less-so about Kevin.
Katherine says she can handle it.

At the Brownstone, Felicia is hanging up decorations when Tom scares
her. They talk a little about Audrey. Tom helps decorate, and is
pocketing an envelope that Felicia spies. It's a tape, and when they
play it for Mac, it turns out to be Felicia talking to her kids. She's
distraught, Tom is protective, Mac is watching. Felicia tells Mac she
wants to help nail the guy, and no she won't go back to Texas.

Later, at the pre-party, Mac and Kevin have a few short words: "It's
starting." Lucy, meanwhile, is bubbling at Tom and Felicia about the
decorations... "It looks so... Bobbie." (Has Tracy coming back to town
simply charged up the air?) Carly comes in, all excited about the
party. At his office, after Katherine, once again, is all understanding
(must have been that talk with Edward!) Mac calls a WSB friend to look up
Tom's file. It's been deleted.

A SHORT INTERLUDE
Robin is hanging out at the docks. Jason arrives, apologizing for being
late, but the lawyers took time. He tells her about his money, $3 million.
She says he sounds like a Quartermaine. He is not amused and tells her
more about the board meeting. He's grateful to Sonny, and they talk a
few moments about Sonny.

BOBBIE HAS A BAD BAD DAY, PART 1
Carly and Tony are planning the party. She mentions again that she's
having financial problems. Tony is thrilled with the present he got
Bobbie. They hug (a friendly hug) and Bobbie sees them. She's spent the
night with Lulu. Carly says she looks so TIRED. Then she thanks Bobbie
for the teddy bear. Later, Tony tells Bobbie she needs to take a break,
and Bobbie wants to know "Do I look that bad?" She needs to review the
Nurses' exams. They discuss Carly a bit. Tony thinks she's wonderful.
The girl herself comes up with a message for Tony, who says as he's
leaving that he will want to see them both later.

Bobbie tells a nurse to take care of Mr. Silverman, who fell off a roof.
She wants nothing more than to go home for a shower and to put her feet up.
Carly either overheard or had incredible timing and stops by to talk
Bobbie into doing her lecture instead of letting Amy sub for her. Tony
comes up with a surprise for Carly. It's a savings book with her
tuition. Bobbie is mightily offended by this, as it will be hard to be
fair in her job as a supervisor. (Good reason, hypocritical anyway) Her
next statement was a typical Bobbie: "shouldn't you have checked with me
first?" (Uh-huh, and what about when she wanted money to look for her
daughter?) They begin a "discussion" but Tony says her trouble is she's
tired. "Don't patronize me!" she snaps. He then tells her he's
beginning to resent these deep dark secrets she has with Luke and Laura
(oh, Tony, if you but knew!) Bobbie says she'll tell him... "meet me
after class."

They walk home, and on the steps she stops, she wants to tell Tony (whose
main interest is getting the guest to the party!) He's taken aback,
though, when he hears Laura had a son: "I just can't believe this. How's
a guy live with the fact that his wife had a child with another man and
never told him all these years?" Bobbie looks appalled. But Tony goes on:
"I can't handle this. Not tonight, anyway." and leads her in:

SURPRISE!!!!
