Subject: GH Update 7/30 Sent: 8/4/96 9:21 PM From: Pat Herman, pat@aimnet.com Once again from Irina: I postponed sending this on till I at least saw it myself. I still feel guilty: I will be doing emergency sub-updates for the 22 and 23, and will, indeed, get to last Thursday's, but this woman is a speed-demon! By the way I've included below a quickie update for today just in case my server isn't up by Thursday and I won't be able to post till this weekend that my sister copied from her server off of All my soaps. *********************************************** General Hospital Tuesday, July 30 When Luke angrily demands to know why she failed to mention her meetings with Stefan, Laura again grows hysterical, screeching that she feared the omnipotent power of the deadly Cassadine clan. Meanwhile, on Spoon Island, Stefan warns Nicholas to never let his guard down around Luke. Glaring at the huge portrait of Laura which hangs in Windemere's main room, Nicholas tells his uncle he's always hated the picture for its false promise of hope. Though Laura expresses hope that her firstborn can be redeemed, Luke reminds her it's too late to erase the years of lies and bitterness Nicholas has been fed by Stavros' family. As Edward berates Ned for handing over 12 1/2 percent of ELQ to the mob, Jason slams back into the mansion and furiously confronts his father. Though Alan appeals to him to stop hanging out with gangsters before he comes to a tragic end, Jason threatens to make the doctor pay if he dares to mess with Sonny again. Badly shaken by the ugly encounter with their unrecognizable son, Alan and Monica cling to each other for support. Later, the Quartermaines sadly ponder how Sonny became more important to Jason than his own parents. Although Ned assures Alan and Monica they actually did him a favor by siding with Edward, Tracy hauls off and slaps Jax across the face as punishment for doing her son dirty. After coming under fire once again from her mother-in-law, Lois begins to get a clearer picture of Tracy's true character. ************************************************ Irina Brusilovsky Training Coordinator Atlantic Duncans International, Inc.
