Irina's server crashed bigtime and she is unable to write this, so
it's short, not-so-sweet, and a SUB UPDATE, MONDAY JULY 22:

Brenda remembers ducking "bullets" (a backfire) in the park with Sonny,
and seems to be thinking how much better her life is now. Jax comes in
wanting to talk about Sonny. She pretty much tells him the truth, only
leaving out the bit where she found out that Lily's death was partly her
fault. She's sitting relaxing about being in this trusting relationship,
and Jax shows her a present from London. It's an olde edition of
Shakespeare's Sonnets, which thrills Brenda till she finds out it's from
Julia. At this point she orders a pizza and remembers how inferior Julia
always made her feel. (Brenda's perception, I believe.) Jax gets a
mysterious phone call and tells the person not to call him there.

Miss Jacobs, the accountant, tells Sonny he's in big trouble with the IRS
and could end up in jail. Jason is concerned, so Sonny fires Jason,
which does no good, as Jason will stick around anyway. Sonny tells Jason
that he will kill himself before he goes to prison.

At the hospital, Laura sees Nikolas. Nik says "guess you needed me after
all" and gets on the elevator. Luke races down the stairs. He orders
Laura not to see Nik again, and Laura says she must. Luke claims that he
(Luke) is an adult. Of course, this has been the problem all along, he
hasn't grown up. (Geary is doing a beautifully consistent job with a
character who is lost-at-sea, whose anchor has just disappeared, and who
can't solve this problem with his usual solution, violence.) Bobbie
tells them Lulu's been moved. She has a few words with Laura about "that
handsome young man" (and she's jealous Laura has seen the kid) and they hug.

Meanwhile, Stefan pumps Nik about Laura. They discuss her. Because Nik
defied Stefan, Lasha won't be able to stay away. They will stay in Port
Charles.

Mac and Katherine disagree on Brian-the-Stone-Clone being a model for
Deception. Finally K. asks Brian himself. He'll think about it. Mac
and Katherine talk about their deteriorating relationship.
