                            GH Update for 07/19/96

Scene 1
Audrey returns home after the memorial. She tells Gail and Tom that she doesn't
fell much of anything, but then breaks down while Tom tries to comfort her.
Scene 2
In the GH ICU, Sonny babbles baby talk to LouLou while unknown to him, Brenda
watches.
Scene 3
Bobby tells Luke she's going to Switzerland to try to find out if the donor was
her daughter. He says don't bother; it's not her.
Scene 4
Laura confronts Stephan at Leslie's grave and tells him she wants to see her
son. He reminds her she made a pact with Helena never to see Nikolas or else,
and besides, Nikolas loathes her because she made the choice to leave his
father and abandon him.
Scene 5
Sonny and Brenda banter about LouLou and Steve's death then she asks him to go
for a walk.
Scene 6
Luke tells Bobbie that Laura had another son he didn't know about.  Bobbie, who
seemed a bit less shocked than expected, pleads for compassion for Laura. Luke
is concerned that the Cassidines may want to take LouLou.
Scene 7
Audrey and Gail blather on about various knick-knacks of Audrey's and their
associated memories. Meanwhile, Tom get increasingly anxious and finally
leaves. "Oh dear," Audrey laments to Gail after he leaves, "when this finally
hits him, it's going to be dreadful."  [His acting is already dreadful to us]
Scene 8
Stephan and Laura continue to talk. When Laura mentions that Lucky saw Nikolas
at GH with LouLou, Stephan looks concerned and as though he didn't know Nikolas
was in PC.
Scene 9
Tom berates his father by his grave. He whines that he could never please
Steve. As he rants on, Felicia, standing nearby, overhears.  [Jeez, some
psychiatrist, grow up]
Scene 10
Brenda banters with Sonny about how good Jax is for her.
Scene 11
Laura tells Stephan she doesn't want Nikolas going through life thinking she
didn't love him. As he walks off, Luke arrives, but doesn't recognize him. Luke
tells her LouLou will be moving to a new room which is great news.
Scene 12
Tom continues his exercise in self-pity. Eventually, Felicia embraces him
[probably to stop his incessant whining].
Scene 13
Brenda tells Sonny she's going to be godmother to Lois' and Ned's baby.
Suddenly, there is a sharp noise, and he instinctively covers her, but it's
only a car backfire, and after a brief look at each other, she leaves.
Scene 14
In a car, Nikolas angrily asks Stephan why he was never told that he had a
sister. Stephan tells him Laura abandoned him to be with Luke and still won't
want to see him.  Nikolas says he doesn't want to leave PC, but Stephan orders
him to go to the airport and return to Greece. However, after Stephan gets out,
Nikolas tells the driver to go to GH.
Scene 15
Steve Hardy's accountant call Audrey to set up an appointment to go over
Steve's papers for probate. Audrey gets flustered over lack of knowledge of
their financial affairs and whereabouts of their papers.
Scene 16
Tom tells Felicia it's silly to yell at a pile of dirt [wow, now there's a bit
of insight, and it only took six years of medical school], and he should really
be thanking Steve for raising him as his son [Tom was not Steve's biological
son].  Eventually, Tom tells her he loves her, and he's very happy she's in his
life.
Scene 17
At GH, Laura and Luke lecture the staff on the necessity of security for
LouLou. Suddenly, Laura sees Nikolas, and their eyes meet.  She smiles, but he
looks at her with animosity.
