General Hospital Update
Wednesday, July 10, 1996

Today's Stories:
** Felicia - Scared and Vulnerable?
** Jason Attempts to Prove Himself
** The Face of Jax Cosmetics
** Kevin (or someone who looks like Kevin) Annihilates Gina

** Felicia - Scared and Vulnerable? **
At the Brownstone, Felicia is in her apartment with the shades drawn.
Tom comes in and notices how scared she is.  He tells her that she
shouldn't let her life be controlled by whoever is stalking her.
Despite her protests, he opens the blinds and lets the light of day in.
 He refuses to let her remain in her apartment and insists that they go
outside since it's such a beautiful day.

They go to the park, eat ice cream, and talk about the stalker.  She
tells Tom that she's grateful for his support.  He replies that he knows
what it's like to be watched since he always felt that Steve was
watching him and not approving.  He tells her he has made the decision
to resign from the hospital, and she is supportive of his decision.

They return to Felicia's apartment and once again close the blinds.  All
of the other brownstone residents are at the hospital and Tom asks
Felicia if she is feeling vulnerable.  She says she is okay, so Tom
leaves to go work on his letter of resignation.  A thunderstorm starts
outside.  The phone rings, and it's Mac.  They've traced the PO Box
where all of Felicia's mail is going and it's registered in Tom's name.
 Felicia doesn't believe it and says there must be a mistake.  Mac says
he'll check again and tells her to be careful.  The storm knocks the
lights out, and Felicia looks scared.

** Jason Attempts to Prove Himself **
Sonny and Jason are in The Grill at the Port Charles Hotel.  Sonny tells
Jason that he is planning to set up a deal with the guys from Kansas
City.  Sonny's going to give them his route and a contact list in
exchange for a large sum of money; of course not all of his contacts
will be listed.  By letting the Kansas City guys use his route, Sonny
figures he can trap them and find out how has been leaking the
information.  Jason wants to be in on the deal, but Sonny's not too
sure.  He thinks Jason is too hot-headed to pull it off.  Jason swears
that he'll keep his cool and prove himself to Sonny.

Jason arrives at the docks to make the exchange and hears the KC guys
talking.  He hides and listens to what they are saying.  They are
talking about how they are going to mess with Sonny and how Sonny has
lost his focus since Lily died.  They think that there scam will pay off
with lots of cash.  Jason attempts to leave quietly, but stumbles making
a loud noise.  With their guns drawn, the KC guys order Jason to make
himself visible.  Jason offers the information in exchange for the
money, but the KC guys wonder how much Jason heard.  At that point,
Jason pushes the guys into each other, grabs the money and runs.  The KC
guys start firing at Jason and take off after him.

** The Face of Jax Cosmetics **
The Port Charles hotel is also the setting for the Jax Cosmetic photo
shoot.  Lucy is checking the last minute details with the photographers
when Kevin walks in.  She's surprised, but pleased to see him and asks
if he's her good luck omen.  She thought that he was supposed to be
"teaching kids how to be abnormal."  Kevin replies that he's on his way
to do that, but wanted to stop by and see Lucy in her element.  Lucy
agrees that she is indeed in her element, that being the packaging and
selling sex appeal.  Kevin agrees that you should write what you know
and he tells Lucy that she is the embodiment of everything sexually
appealing.  She invites him to stay and asks what they do to teachers
who play hooky.  Kevin tells her that they don't stay teachers.  They
each say "I love you", and Kevin goes off to teach his class.

Jax and Brenda come in and she's really nervous.  Brenda asks him if he
can stay for the shoot since she'd feel a lot better if she could look
over and see her husband throwing her moral support.  Jax seems a bit
surprised by her request and agrees to stay until she "gets her sea
legs."  Lucy remembers that Brenda always gets this way before a shoot
and tells her that she'll be great.  She gives her a pep talk and
compares her to Marilyn Monroe.  She says that one day she'll be staring
in a movie with Lucy as the producer.  Jason walks by on his way to the
docks and wonders what's going on.  Lucy asks him if he'd like to be in
the shoot, but he declines saying he has business to attend to.  Since
he obviously doesn't know who Lucy is, Lucy introduces herself.  As he
leaves, she tells him that maybe she'll call him about another shoot.
Sonny then comes in and Lucy comes over to say hello.  He also notices
how Brenda looks and remembers that's how she gets before a shoot.  He
tells he she'll be "magic" once the camera is on her.  Lucy goes off to
take care of more details, leaving just Sonny and Brenda.  She asks how
he's doing, and he asks how married life is and if she's happy.  She
replies that she really is happy.  Sonny says that he admires that she's
still working even though she's married to a very rich man.  Jax now
notices the two of them and comes up behind Brenda.  Jax offers Sonny
his condolences about Lily and the baby.  Lucy comes back over to Brenda
and tells her she needs to get ready for the shoot and the two go off.

The photo shoot concludes with Brenda on top of a limo in an evening
gown.  Jax helps Brenda get down and Lucy tells her she was wonderful.
Brenda thanks Jax for sticking around.  He then suggests that since
she's already dressed and the limo is there, they should take advantage
of it.  She agrees and he carries her to the limo.

** Kevin (or someone who looks like Kevin) Annihilates Gina **
Kevin is holding class in the park since it's such a nice day.  He and
Gina have a talk before class begins.  She tells him that she's nervous
about seeing Robin.  She goes over her relationship with Stone again and
wonders how Robin would be able to forgive her if she can't forgive
herself.  Kevin tells her the topic of today's discussion is Survivor
Guilt and maybe it will help.

The class begins and Kevin starts talking about his relationship with
Ryan.  He explains that even thought they weren't really close, he felt
a great loss when Ryan died.  He talks about his feelings of guilt over
Ryan's death, but says that he did do everything he could while Ryan was
alive.  He talks about there being repercussions when you don't.  Both
Gina and Robin are thinking about Stone.  Then Kevin goes on to discuss
the situation between Gina and Stone, without using any names.  He
refers to Gina as shallow, superficial, and judgmental.  He talks about
the things she could have done while Stone was alive and says that she
may never get over the guilt.  Kevin appears to have gone off somewhere
else while talking, but then comes back to reality and ends class.
Kevin and all of the other students, except for Gina and Robin, leave.

Gina is devastated and Robin notices and goes over to her.  Robin asks
if she's okay.  Gina says that she thinks Kevin did that on purpose, but
Robin replies that Kevin would never hurt anyone on purpose.  However,
she does think that Kevin's behavior was odd.  Robin tells Gina that she
didn't deserve to be treated that way.  She asks Gina to confirm that
she really wasn't trying to hurt Stone on purpose, she just couldn't act
any other way.  Gina is surprised at Robin's behavior toward her and
thanks her for coming over.  Robin tells her that she may never be able
to forgive her, but she didn't deserve the humiliation she got in class.

After class, Kevin drops by the photo shoot to see Lucy and find out how
it went.  She tells him how great it was and how everyone treated her
with respect.  It was a "totally awesome day" she tells Kevin to which
he replies that he's taken it upon himself to make sure that her evening
will be even better.  Lucy asks what he has in mind, but stops him
before he can answer.  She says she doesn't want to know.  He can just
take her wherever he wants and do with her as he will.  Kevin likes her
plan much better.  She tells him not to move, she just has to finish up
a few things with the crew and she'll be right back.

Robin comes by the hotel to see Katherine and runs into Kevin.  She
tells him that she's really confused about Kevin's actions and wonders
why he annihilated Gina in front of the class.  He clearly has no idea
what she is talking about, but tries not to let on.  Robin goes over
everything that happened and is surprised that Kevin doesn't seem to
remember.  Kevin is also surprised, but tries to explain that he was not
trying to hurt Gina and may have mentioned a situation that was similar
to Gina's.  Robin tells him that he did a lot of damage, and Kevin
promises her that he'll talk to Gina.  Robin leaves and Kevin looks
concerned.
