                            GH Update for 07/05/96
                            By John R. Andrews, UIC

Scene 1
Felicia banters with a towel clad Tom about her lack of mail.
Scene 2
A hodge-podge scene of Carly trying to talk to Bobbie about her nurse's test
score, Alan wanting to talk to Dorman about his hand surgery, and Bobbie
rushing around oblivious to Carly's attempts to talk to her.
Scene 3
Luke sees Sonny outside LouLou's room and knows he has found the lawyer who
cheated Bobbie.
Scene 4
In a plane, we hear a man with a ring saying into a phone, "The day we've been
waiting for has come." He goes on to say to keep someone "there." We learn
the plane is headed to PC [surprise, surprise].
Scene 5
Luke tells Laura Sonny's people have the guy. Sonny says they're bringing the
guy to GH. Laura suggests Luke warn Bobbie.
Scene 6
Sonny talks to Simone about testing for marrow compatibility, but on
questioning, he must admit he was treated for a gunshot outside of a hospital
which nixes the deal, but she kindly thanks him for the offer.
Scene 7
Carly finally buttonholes Bobbie who posts the exam scores. Carly is a bit
amazed that she didn't get a perfect score [remember she switched exams].
Scene 8
Luke tells Bobbie that the lawyer is on the way and suggests she should tell
Tony now. She basically says for him not to worry; it's her job to tell Tony.
Scene 9
Dorman and Monica chit-chat over paperwork. When he goes off to find some code
or something, Alan appears, and they do their usual bickering routine.
Scene 10
In between some sarcastic comments, Alan asks Dorman if he (Alan) is a
candidate for laser surgery on his hand.
Scene 11
Tom brings Felicia's missing mail over with some dubious story about Tommy, who
was holding Tom's mail while he was away, mixing hers in or perhaps the mailman
making a mistake. As Felicia looks it over, she finds an envelope filled with
candid pictures of her and "her men" with the exception of Tom [unfortunately,
none of her "on the roof"]. The envelope has no return address [as if].
Scene 12
Dorman says he'll need to do a work up on Alan including a complete financial
statement. Alan insists Dorman not tell anyone about his plans.
Scene 13
While Bobbie quickly talks Tony into going home and practically pushes him out
the door, Sonny's men bring the reluctant scumbag to see Luke. Luke questions
him while practically breaking his arm.
Scene 14
Laura gets a call from the man on the plane. When she says hello, the man
replies, "Lasha?" "No, you're dead," she gasps. He tells her to meet him on
Spoon Island [good old Spoon Island again] that night, and she agrees.
Scene 15
Luke presses the guy further until he gives up Bobbie's daughter's adopted
parents' address. He says he gave the daughter Bobbie's name and address.
Scene 16
Luke tells Bobbie he's going to go check out the parents in Florida. As the
lawyer leaves, Carly sees him and vice versa. Sonny gives Bobbie back her $20K
that he persuaded the guy to return.
Scene 17
The phone man tells Laura to come alone, and she agrees.
Scene 18
Luke tells Laura he's headed off to see the parents. She tells him they need to
do something rather than just wait. In perhaps a prophetic statement, she says
she'll do *anything* to save her child. After Luke leaves, Laura arranges for
a nurse to stay with Lou. Interestingly, when Laura asks about another nurse
that was there, the ICU nurse tells her the other one is not an ICU nurse.
Scene 19
While Monica and Dorman are filing out paperwork, he asks if Monica convinced
Alan to seek surgery. She is very angry that he breached doctor/client
confidentiality. She tells him Alan is probably afraid people (read her) will
laugh at him for trying to be a surgeon now.
Scene 20
Tom calls Mac about Felicia's newest problem. When she checks the postmark on
the envelope she finds it was not mailed which would make it a federal offense.
Tom suspiciously handles everything ensuring that his prints were on it.
Felicia phones her mother and says keep the kids for a while more.
Scene 21
Carly tries to call Felix Peyser, the lawyer, but gets his answering machine.
Scene 22
In chatting with Tony, Carly inadvertently refers to her mother, and Tony picks
up on the inconsistency with her previous story that she didn't know her
mother.
Scene 23
Luke knocks at Carly's mother's door; she answers.
Scene 24
Laura arrives on Spoon Island. "Stavros?" she says to an unseen figure.
