Weekly Update from the Contra Costa County "Times" (Calif) Newspaper:

Luke, Laura and Lucky were upset that they cannot donate bone marrow to
Lesley Lu, who is suffering from aplastic anemia. Bobbie told Laura about
a daughter she gave up for adoption after giving Luke permission to search
for the girl as a possible bone marrow donor. Things got hot and heavy
between Brenda and Sonny when she comforted him over Lily's death; they
stopped before things got out of hand. Brenda later realized that she cares
a lot about Jax. Edward wants to believe that Luke will not reveal that
Justus killed Damian. A guilt-ridden Justus tried to give up his city
council seat to A.J. Ned was surprised to hear from his mother, Tracy.
Jason wished he could remember loving someone the way Robin loved Stone.
Carly, who is sleeping with Jason but didn't know his name, tried to learn
his identity from Robin. After Tom left on a business trip, Mac cancelled
vacation plans with Katherine to protect Felicia from the stalker.

And now the Friday update...

Lesley-Lu Hangs on; Bobbie Tells Laura Her Secret
=========================================================================
In ICU at GH, Luke and Laura stare helplessly at Lesley Lu. Tony announces
that neither he, Bobbie, Sly nor Jennie are matches. Carly, who was lurking
in the doorway, offers to be tested. Before she is tested, Tony helps Carly
with the paperwork. She is reluctant to give her social security number.
Alone outside the room, Luke and Bobbie discuss finding Bobbie's daughter.
Luke presses her to agree to continue the search. Bobbie still insists on
keeping Tony in the dark about being a teenage mother. Later on, Bobbie
tells Laura about the possibility of a matching donor if they can find the
daughter she gave up for adoption 20 years ago. Laura listens dumfounded,
tears streaming down her face, while Bobbie tells her tale of woe. They hug.

What's Love Got To Do With It?
=========================================================================
In her apartment at the brownstone, a hang-up phone call gives Felicia the
creeps. On the other side of town, Katherine packs for Bermuda and blabs
to Mac about the great time they're going to have. Both are eager to get away.
Simone visits Filly; they talk briefly about Lesley Lu's predicament.
Felicia asks about Justus and Simone says she doesn't know what's happening
with the big old pork chop these days; he seems to have disappeared. Then
Simone blurts out that even though a future with Justus is uncertain she
doesn't want her ex husband back! Both she and Felicia are surprised by her
outburst. She tells Felicia that she must be jealous of her and Tom's
relationship because she remembers how great it was to fall in love.
"Who said anything about love?" says Filly. They're interrupted by
another hang-up phone call. Simone leaves and the phone rings again but
the caller hangs up when Felicia demands to know his/her identity. Then
Felicia phones Mac and whines that she needs him. Mac arrives at Felicia's
and tells her that he has called the prison to make sure that Willis (the
supposed stalker) is behind bars. Felicia tells Mac that she's alone in the
brownstone as Tom is out of town at a medical convention. She admits that
it does feel creepy all alone. The phone rings and it's Tom; he offers to
return early from the conference but Felicia reassures him that the
situation isn't that drastic. Mac gets a call from the Warden. Willis has
escaped. Then Mac calls Katherine and says he can't go on vacation because
he's got to babysit Felicia. Katherine tells him she's going to be on the
flight to Bermuda, with or without him then she slams down the phone.

What's Love Got To Do With It? -- Part II
=========================================================================
Later, at Jake's Pool Palace, Carly gloms onto Jason and apologizes for
trying to pry into his life. She wants to have more than just a sexual
relationship with him but when he declines further involvement she suggests
they go upstairs and do what they do best. She gets up from the table and
saunters toward the stairs; he gets up and fishes in his jeans for some
money to pay for his beer. He's just turning to follow her out of the room
when Robin enters the joint. He forgets Carly and turns all his attention
to Robin; Carly watches them from the doorway.

The Mystery Man
=========================================================================
Final scene...somewhere in a richly appointed room we see a man's shoulder,
arm, hand; he's wearing a gaudy (Cassadine?) ring. He picks up a coffee
cup, sips, and murmurs "Ah, my special Sumatra/Sulaweesi mix heavy-foam
double-shot half-decaf Frappuchino is just perfect today!" Another man
comes in and announces, "I thought you'd want to know that Laura Spencer's
daughter is gravely ill!"
