General Hospital
                           Update Tuesday 6/18

Scene 1
Katherine comes over to see Brenda at Jax’s place (how she knew where to
look is beyond me).  She tell Jax that “I don’t know what you’ve done but
she looks fantastic”.  Bren thanks her...but Kathy reminds her they need
to discuss business...just then....the doorbell rings...Its Lucy.  Nice
to see you....I was looking for you...Oh, and wouldn’t you know she is
here but she’s in for a real disappointment.  Jax asks what’s going on
and Lucy informs him that Brens contract is up at midnight.  Kay says
over her dead body will Lucy steal her...Luc says it can be arranged...
Scene 2
Doorbell rings for Sonny who is not answering it.  On the forth ring
Jason answers the door.  When the 2 men in suits ask for Mr. Michael
Corenthos, Jr. we see Jason slowly take his gun from the back of his
pants and Sonny watches
Scene 3
Robin and Felicia come outside the Outback that has a huge sign saying
the Board of Health closed them down.  They are both bewildered and go
inside to call the good inspector Hastings who posted the note.  Just
then Mac walks in to ask what the heck is going on and decided that the
police comish has a little more weight and call the inspector himself.  A
bar tender (can’t remember his name but he sure is good looking) comes in
to help with the deliveries that were supposed to be made yesterday, his
day off.  They all realize that the deliveries weren’t made and that they
don’t have any supplies.  Mac starts moaning that he thought this place
could survive with him being PCPC but maybe thats not the case.
Felicia - Don’t get yourself up in a lather
Mac - A lather, Do I look like I’m in a lather
Robin - You are starting to foam a little on top
Mac starts asking how he’s supposed to react to this and Felicia gets
upset..just then we see Kevin outside pulling the sign down in
disgust...comes in...holds the sign and ask “Does this mean no breakfast”
Scene 4
Jason has the 2 men up against the wall to their protest.  When they ask
who the hell he is Sonny comes out and asks who the hell they are.  They
tell him their attorneys for Rivera and that since he was Lily’s sole
heir and Lily was Rivera’s they have a check for him.  Sonny tells them
he doesn’t want it and they inform him that they are here to deliver it
he can do whatever he wants with it...(I think donating some of it to the
AIDS benefit would be nice) and they leave.  Sonny throws the envelope on
the ground and Jason asks if he wants to open it.  Sonny says not but
feel to open it if you want.
Scene 5 (Brenda looks absolutely glowing in these scenes)
Katherine and Lucy argue the merits of working for their respective
companies...
Katherine - familiarity, face of deception, you’re the only one, elite
market, blah blah
Lucy - loyalty, world wide, mass market, new opportunity, big campaign,
blah blah....”Jax is your destiny...of course I am just referring to the
company:)”
Bren - Haven’t had time to think about it
Kay - All you had is time
Luc - I can wait...as long as I know you’re on board
Kay - pulls out a contract
Luc - Jax com on tell her to dump kathy
Jax - My wife is capable of making her own decisions
Kay and Luc - Did you say your wife
Bren - Tells them she got married to Jax and that she might come back to
work...she might not.
Kay and Luc continue to bicker about who she is going to work for.  Both
giving good points.  In fact when Bren asks what Jax is doodling he says
he’s just trying to keep score.  When asked who’s winning he says its a
tie thus far.  So in good ol fashion tradition they continue for what
seems like hours to discuss the benefits of working for their company.
(this was a great scene but went by at such a fast pace that I didn’t
want to do quotes).  Just then Bren says she hasn’t made up her mind
maybe she’ll do both.....
Scene 6
Jason says its a check for 30 million.  Sonny asks him if he wants it.
Jason says “this is Lily’s inheritance...I can’t believe you wouldn’t
want you to have it”.  Sonny asks him what difference will it make and
walks upstairs and Jason looks perplexed.
Scene 7
Bren says she was only kidding but that she has lots of choices one being
starting a business of her own...they both get concerned...Bren walks to
the door and says that she wants to spend time with her husband...get out
(very nicely).  When they leave Jax and Bren kiss
Scene 8
We see Sonny clean shaven and in a suit leave the penthouse
Scene 9
Felicia discusses with Tom and Kevin how this good be the mystery
man/women as Robin talks to Mac about Sonny.  Felicia decides to call the
delivery place to find out whats going on only to find out that she was
the one to cancel the order.  The inspector arrives.........says he’s
real sorry but he didn’t put this up and that he doesn’t know who got
their stationary and seal and all but that the place was fine and could
reopen.  As he leaves Jason comes in...tells Robin that he thinks that
Sonny is doing better and that maybe they can go out tonight but Robin
says that she has to work on her speech for the Ball.  Jason can’t
understand why she would want to do it and Robin tries to explain that if
one person could benefit from her experience it would be worth it...Maybe
Jason will even go...she doesn’t think they’d throw him out.  Just then
Kath comes in ranting about Lucy and Brenda...Robin says hold on a minute
Brenda...she’s home.  Yes she’s at the PC Hotel with her new husband.
Back up a minute did you say husband.  Yes didn’t you know that she ran
off and married Jax... You could see Robins chin fall to the floor....
Scene 10
Bren and Jax chat about how wonderfully unpredictable Bren is and that
maybe her idea about the business wasn’t that bad but first Jax had other
business to attend to....he gets down on one knee and ask her to marry
him...she says didn’t we do this before...yes but we skipped a few
milestones...then he pull out a huge diamond ring (big emerald cut
diamond with 2 smaller trillion cut diamonds on the side...if you’re
interested..looked like this [  ]) He tells her that its his mums and
that she wanted Bren to have it..it was the first thing dad bought her
when they struck it rich.
Scene 11
Sonny is sitting besides Lily’s grave with flowers.........(paraphrasing
what he said, sorta)
Luke said to take things 5 minutes at a time but I never realized how
long it would be.  Everyone comes over and gives me advice.  Robin says
to give it time...funny how my own words come back to haunt me.  I went
to see Juan when I was in Puerto Rico...he looks so much like you...I
gave him your cross and told him that he will never want for
anything...small conciliation.  You students took up a collection and
send you a huge arrangement of flowers...carnations...my mother had lots
of carnations on her casket...but thats not the point...the point is the
kids..and I miss you.  The school is planing a memorial service and Lucky
asked if I’d go...I said na but maybe I’ll find a way to attend.  If I
didn’t know better I would think life has moved on.  This is so
hard...talking to you and not hearing anything back.  I can’t believe
thats all their is left...I won’t see you....hear your voice....how do
you stack up 5 minutes against never.  Your dads lawyers came buy with a
check from Rivera...what should I do...maybe I should frame it as a
reminder of what I did to you...(in a whisper) I don’t know how to do
this lily....I don’t know.  I wish you could help me take this 5 minutes
at a time...help me put 1 foot in front of the other...wake up every
morning living in my own skin.  I wish you could tell me what I can do to
honor your memory......(he touches the gravestone and whispers) I LOVE
YOU.....(this was a truly emotional scene...MB was wonderful)
Scene 12
Robin goes to see Brenda....is it true?
Scene 13
Kath walks into the Outback...I hate that women...but don’t say it..don’t
remind me she saved my life...Mac says he was just going to remind her
about the dry-cleaning.  Lucy is trying to undermine everything I try to
do to show I’m worth something is this town.  Mac tells her she knew what
she was getting into when she bought Deception and underwrote the
ball...she was doing it to get under Lucy’s skin...and that she should
act like a victim in some big conspiracy when she did it to herself.  All
I want is a little sympathy...Just then Lucy walks in and they start
bickering again.  Lucy mentions the Ball and Mac’s comedy routine...Mac
says no thanks and Kay looks pleased and leaves.  But Mac asks Luc for a
minute in the program to say something she says no problem for the PCPC.
 (During this whole scene Kevin and Tom and talking in the
background...at a table...I found that interesting)  Tom and Felicia ask
Mac to jump up the investigation of the investment firm and Mac assures
that that after this morning the guy is on the top of his list.  Filly
then tries to modem the order to the distributor again but when she turns
on the computer their is a picture of a dead black rose on the
screen...everyone but especially Kevin looks disturbed.
Scene 14
Sonny is back in the penthouse looking at the horrible painting of Lily.
 Jason asks if he wants to throw it out but he says to hang it on the
wall to remind him every day of what he’s done.
Scene 15
Brenda confirms the Jax rumor.  Robin isn’t very pleased but she tells
Bren she needs time.  Brenda shows her the ring and says she knows its
crazy...she spent a whole year trying to convince everyone that she loved
Sonny and wanted to be with him...and now she’s married to Jax
Robin - Does that mean that you don’t love him anymore
Bren - not answering the question....There’s no point in pining over
someone I will never have.  I spent so long being unhappy and looking to
a possible happy future we could build but why bother the future is
here...today....I’m happy now..I don’t need to wait.
Robin - Does that mean that you love Jax (I love her she always the
difficult questions)
Bren - again not answering..I know people will think that I married him
on the rebound
Robin - Last time I saw you...you were going to run away with Sonny and
you were so happy
Bren - You know one time sonny said that we were addicted to each other
and I think he was right.  I always thought that the sick feeling inside
was what love was supposed to feel like but Jax is showing me that thats
not true.  I don’t have to play tricks, beg, die for him to love me...he
just does.  Nobody has loved me the way Jax does.  He’s honest and open
with me and he trusts me.  So much so that I don’t ever want to let him
down.  You know he asked me to marry him a while ago and gave me time to
think about my answer....the truth is he’s the best thing that ever
happened to me.
Robin - Do you know what happened to Lily...Sonny is having a real hard
time of it
Bren - I know...I went to him...I couldn’t get through to him...its
really sad.  But I DO NOT regret marrying Jax.  Sonny needed to be with
Lily and the baby and I needed to move on with my life and not pine over
something that (little catch in her throat) will never be.  I really want
you to be happy for me.  (they hug)
Scene 16
Kevin start to bang on the computer ranting that this has to stop.  He
basically looses control.  Everyone tries to calm him down and Kevin
storms out.  Lucy and Felicia try to after him...
Felicia - What is going on with him
Lucy - I don’t know but its really starting to scare me.
