SONNY & BRENDA: Lots of kissing and hugging and ecstatics. He's more
happy than he's ever been, she's magnificently confident, etc, and
in a real shocker, Sonny appears to have bought a clue. He wants her
to be completely informed about everything. She already is, she tells
him, and she tells him about Rivera pulling her into the car. He almost
explodes, but she reassures him that he didn't hurt her. They decide
to meet in an hour

LILY & THE BABY: Lily is at home, remembering Alan telling her she is
pregnant, and she cries and says something like "not now."
ROBIN & JASON: The entire first scene consists of him lying directly
on top of her and kissing her on the floor of the boxcar (ouch). As
the show moves along, she is ready to do it, or she thinks so, but
no matter how many condoms or frank talks you have, sometimes you just
aren't ready, and she finds this out, as Stone pops into her head
three times as she kisses Jason. She sits up, angry and frustrated
with herself, and she explains to Jason what is happening, and he
takes it well. I don't like her saying "you have every right to be
angry at me" "you must want to choke me" etc. She has a right to say no.
Or maybe I'm just reacting to Jason being a pig later.

MAC & LUKE: Luke brings in the videotape, making demands. He must retain
ownership, etc. Keeps calling Mac "Bubba," and says the last thing he
wants is to involve Mac.

SONNY & HARRY AT THE UBIQUITOUS DOCKS: Sonny, looking absolutely
darling, tells Harry he's getting ready to go out of town and needs him
to take over for a while. He refuses to give him a time frame. Harry is
not pleased, especially when he figures out that Sonny is not taking
Lily with him. Sonny tells him to keep Lily safe. Harry says "what the
HELL...are you out and out ASKING for it??" Sonny then says that Rivera
will never hurt him because he is the only man Lily loves. If I were Sonny
I wouldn't bet everything on Lily blindly accepting this, still loving
him, or not being hurt.

ROBIN & BRENDA, at Robin's--Brenda comes over, and she's in this beautiful
light blue silk outfit, looking radiant. She's in a daze. Robin is upset
but insists on not talking about it and hearing Brenda's news, "whatever's
got that sappy look on your face." Brenda tells Robin that Sonny is going
to leave Lily. They discuss Lily and the marriage. Robin feels sorry for
Lily, and Brenda tells her that Sonny took their marriage very seriously
but realized that he was just hurting Lily because he didn't love her.
Robin tries to make Brenda think of the practicalities, but she just can't,
saying that everything will be perfect. Brenda says something about them
being "a part of each other" which sends me into immediate gag reflex after
hearing Lily and Holden say this ad nauseum on ATWT for years. Brenda
leaves after telling Robin "I want you to remember every single day what
a beautiful person you are," and I notice that Robin looks incredibly like
Karen in this scene.

MAC & LUKE AGAIN: Mac holds tough, refusing to help unless Luke lets him
in on it. Luke's disgusted that Mac must uphold the law. Mac tells him
that he's (Luke) not in charge and that he (Luke) thinks that he (Luke)
has to clear Laura on his own.

LOD: Luke: "Well, you know, I haven't had a lot of help in that area
from the powers that be..."

Mac asks why he didn't turn it over to his lawyer? Luke says it's a matter
of trust. Mac insists again on having the tape. Luke says "You're not
only the commissioner, you're turning into a cop!" They make a deal. Mac's
man will fix the tape and put it in a sealed envelope, and Mac and Luke
will watch it together the first time it is watched. Luke agrees. Luke
sees Justus, and is very prickly around him. Justus notices this right
after I write it down and calls it edgy, well, that too. Luke says "the
whole freakin' situation makes me edgy." I love hearing the 70's slang
from Luke. :) "By the way, do you know a wharf rat named Harper?" Luke
asks as the scene closes.

IMO, for what Luke (not Anthony Geary) really knows, he is a bit TOO
suspicious of Justus at this point. Just IMO.

JASON AND CARLY: Jason goes to the bar, frustratedly shoots some pool.
Carly's there in a black dress, acting even more like Bobbie than I've
ever seen her act. They talk a while, and she says (about the pool game)
"It'll cost you. A quarter." Jason cleverly asks "What will?" and we at
home are ROTFL.  Jason says he doesn't like games, she says ok. He says
"My room's upstairs." She says "Good." He says "Let's go." And they do.

SONNY & BRENDA: a short little scene of them on the docks, meeting again,
kissing and hugging, which serves no purpose at all except to make us
S/B fans happy.  :)

JUSTUS & LUKE: Luke is wired, berating Justus about Harper and Edward,
wanting to know what's going on. Justus swears that Laura will not serve
any time. I think that if she is convicted, Justus plans on confessing.
Then he will get to go to prison, if he is lucky enough to get away from
Luke first.

CARLY & JASON: They have sex in Jason's room, and I'm very happy about
two things. 1. They quite obviously used a condom (he tore the wrapper
off with his teeth. 2. The background music was "Obsession" by Animotion,
which was co-written by Michael Des Barres, and he will get a little
paycheck now!! Other than that, I'm not very happy about Jason doing
this. Robin has been honest with him, but he has not returned the favor.

SONNY & BRENDA: She tells him that they are going to start fresh, total
honesty, and he agrees, and she right off the bat tells him that she told
Robin about what is going on. This makes him nervous at first, but she
explains that Robin loves them and deserved to know, and he finally agrees
and says he will also talk to her. It's nice that someone seems concerned
that Robin not feel totally abandoned yet again, IMO. Brenda tells him
that she doesn't feel she can confide in Lois, and Sonny agrees. She
says something about never fighting, and he confidently says "We fight,
we make up!" and gives her a long kiss. She is joyful, and he tells her
what she needs to do, get her passport in order, etc. Sonny says "Lily
is gonna be free too" and "that's what she needs, and that's the least
she deserves." Brenda nods.

God, he is gorgeous

LILY & THE BABY: At home in the penthouse, Lily cries and rubs her
baby, swearing to do what is right for it.
