HELL IN THE COURTHOUSE: The air is off, the power is off, and Dara &
Justus are stuck in the elevator. Outside the elevator door, Laura,
Bobbie and Simone commiserate over the trial so far. Laura misses Mary
May. Bobbie apologizes again for how her testimony went, and Simone
frets over Justus and Dara in the elevator together. AJ and Keisha are
also there, and AJ manages to successfully hold off the press from Laura
again, promising them Laura will give an exclusive to one particularly
persistent reporter "after she is acquitted." The reporter, and Laura,
agree to this.

ANGST IN AN ELEVATOR: Meanwhile, in the elevator, Justus is still calm,
though sweaty, while Dara proceed into a full blown claustrophobia
attack. She paces, wheezes, snaps at him, comes close to tears, finally
decides to take off her blouse, revealing a slip top underneath. Justus
tries to distract her, but nothing works until he confesses that in the
shower he likes to sing "Wild Thing," which they then proceed to
do...loudly enough to be heard by everyone out in the hallway. Simone
gets even more jealous. Justus says Mary May would have wanted Dara to
sing, they talk about performing and how court is a performance for her
(his opinion, not necessarily hers)

THE UBIQUITOUS DOCKS: Luke comes up out of the water, and in the GH
revisionisttradition, the "How could I lose it like that?" line is now
non-existent. He says Harper is dead, in his opinion. He demands an
answer from Edward about what is going on, and Edward gives him some
bull about how he's developed a gambling debt/addiction and owed money
to Harper. They agree there is no need to notify the police about
Harper's accidental death (if he is dead) and then Luke informs Edward
that he doesn't buy his story.

BACK IN COURT: Edward and Luke show up at the courtroom, and soon
afterward the power/lights come back on. Edward talks to Justus. Luke
talks to Laura, tells her he was right, Edward is up to something. Gives
Edward a killer stare while holding Laura. In the elevator, Dara has
taken off her skirt as well, so she is only in a slip &
camisole...Justus has his shirt off. The power comes back on and the
doors open...they are half dressed in front of everyone. Everyone is
amused...except Simone. Court reconvenes, and Justus calls Bobbie to the
stand, after being sniped at by Simone. Bobbie manages to get her
opinion across that James *might* have had an ear infections, and after
several objections by Dara, the judge lets Justus have his way, since
Dara has already said Bobbie is a credible professional and is now
trying to discredit her. Bobbie and Laura share a conspiratorial grin
(probably not good in front of the jury, but oh well)

KEVIN'S WONDERFULLY WICKED PLAN: Lucy and Kevin go to dinner at Luke's,
where there is a generator & gas power, candlelight, and the ever
congenial Mike Corbin as host. Lucy wants to discuss his panic attack
and he at first dismisses it, then confesses that he has been trying to
figure out what happened. He does not mention the Ryan in flames vision.
Then he lets it slip that this wasn't the first time it had happened. He
manages to get Lucy's attention back onto something Lucy- related:
Katherine, and thenKevin comes up with the idea to put an ingredient in
Katherine's version that will be wonderful until applied to skin, after
which it will be terrible. Lucy kisses him and loves the idea, calls her
French chemist...bullies him into doing it for her while Kevin smiles at
her holding his immigration status over his head. The chemist shows up
with the vile vial in hand, and they celebrate.

WHOOPS, WRONG CAR: A limo pulls up and Brenda thinks it is Jax, she
runs to the door and opens it...and it is Rivera, who drags her inside
as the doors automatically lock. She is brave with him, even trying to
flirt her way out of it, but he is not interested. She tells him that he
should know Sonny is married and that she can't see why he (Rivera) is
interested in her. Rivera then gets tough, asking "how's your health?"
He tells her that Sonny would do anything to protect her, and she
slowly starts to realize what is going on. She asks if Rivera has set
this whole thing up, telling Sonny that he has to be with Lily or he
will hurt Brenda, and Rivera lets her think this is the entire truth,
which it's not, or TPTB have revised history again. Just in case she
doesn't get the message, Rivera reveals that he was behind the hit and
run, and then he lets her go. Someone (Harry, IMO) ratted about Canada.

A NOT QUITE ROMANTIC DINNER: Lily and Sonny go to Luke's, and they
share a romantic table, candlelight, wine...but it isn't quite enough.
Sonny's nervous, Lily's in emotional turmoil...she can't handle it and
goes to the restroom. Mike asks Sonny if everything is ok, and Sonny
is actually nice to him, being vague but not biting his head off.
Rivera saunters in, Lily goes outside after acting happy, Rivera
gives Sonny a chilling look and goes out to be with her. She tries
to convince him that everything is fine, she and Sonny are happy.
Rivera leaves, and Sonny offers to take her home, she almost cries,
saying she knows how to act and what is expected of her. He is gentle
with her, tries to comfort her, and they leave together. Brenda, who
previously went to the Ubiquitous Docks to brood, hug herself, and cry,
has been hiding behind a wall, listening, and she comes out
to watch them leave. I expect a spray of gunfire which does not materialize.

LOD: "Don't worry about the public, Edward. Worry about me. 'Cause
I don't believe a damn thing you told me is even close to the truth."
(Luke to Edward at the docks).
