Filly zips down to Tom's apartment the morning after the night before,
if you get my drift.  He offers her some sausage and eggs.

At the Quartermaine manse, Ned, Lois, and Emily discuss the impending
Mother's Day celebration.  Emily wants to make sure the day is special to
Monica, maybe it will snap her out of her funk.  Edward arrives and
announces to Ned and Lois that his good deed for the day was to post
Laura's half-million dollar bail.  Alan and Monica enter the room and
A.J. and Keesha follow [what is she, joined to his  hip all of a sudden?].
Monica announces that she's dreading Mother's Day this year because she
doesn't want to be reminded of her failures (as a mother). Lois tries
to put a positive spin on things and A.J. jumps in and says that all
the Q problems shouldn't be laid at Monica's feet.  Then Keesha, Edward
and A.J. leave for the courthouse.  After they're out of the room, Alan,
Monica, Ned, and Lois discuss how A.J. has glommed on to Keesha for
support.  Alan called it co-dependency and, naturally, Monica disagreed
and they started to bicker. Lois grabbed a ringing phone; it was a call
for Edward [it was Harper].  She told the caller that Edward had gone to
the courthouse and he hung up on her.  Alan and Monica wrangle over A.J.
and Lois, who is getting more upset, finally leaves in disgust.  Ned
follows her and when they get to the gatehouse she tells him her worries
about raising their child around the wacky Quartermaine family.  Back at
the manse, Alan turns the tone of the argument around to Monica's "Secret
Admirer" and she digs at him about his inactivity in the bedroom [well,
sheesh, he's still wearing those old blue "Smurf" pajamas he wore over
three years ago!  Must be hard to feel sexy when you look like a train
wreck!].  He tells Monica that he's tired of struggling to keep their
marriage together.

The kids and Tony surprise Bobbie with an early Mother's Day surprise
breakfast. Bobbie is touched and sheds a few tears when she realizes what
a lucky 'ho she really is!  Now that she's apparently back on track, Tony
wants her to tell him what the nightmares were about.  She says they were
about "loss" and he assumes she means the loss of B.J.  She says nothing
to change his mind.

At the Spencer household, Lucky and babysitter Mike are overjoyed to see
Laura walk through the door. Luke tells them that they've got to go back to
court that afternoon for the opening arguments. Mike was surprised to
learn from Luke that Eddie the Q posted Laura's bail.  Lucky insists
on going to the courthouse for Laura's first court appearance.  Luke and
Laura are against it but Justus tells them it might be good for Laura's
image if her son were there.

At the courthouse, A.J. and Keesha meet up with Justus.  Edward arrives and
warns Justus to be careful.  Luke and Laura arrive; they look grim.
The judge finally comes in and court is in session.  Harper slips into the
back of the courtroom and perches behind Edward.  He whispers to Eddie who
whispers back loudly "NOT HERE!"  Harper leaves and Edward soon follows.
Dara's first statement is a request that Justus be removed as defense
counsel!
