Subject: GH:  Update Tuesday 5/7

This is my first time trying to do this so please be gentle.......

(The opening credits have changed.  Dara and Carly on in and Damian and
Miguell are out.  They also have a new picture of AJ and Jason to reflect
the new Jason better.  That’s all I caught...)

Scene 1
Robin and Ruby are discussing if Justice can properly defend Laura with
his other commitments.  Robin defends Justice.  Brenda hobbles down and
Robin and her both take a seat at a table.  Brenda starts to tell Robin
the story behind the ankle and the vacation.
Scene 2
Sonny, in his apartment, is hacking away at a brand new piano.  Lily
comes down stairs and wants to know where it came from.  Sonny tells her
that he ordered it special after he heard her play in Canada.  He said he
wants to hear her play all those nights their alone together.  Lily gets
that glossy look as asks if that idea still appeals to him after the
snowstorm, cabin, etc.. incident.
Scene 3
Luke, Lucky, and LouLou visit Laura.  Lucky has a small conniption fit
because he has to talk to Laura through glass...pent up frustrations
about his mom being in jail.  Laura walks in, sees LouLou, and picks up
the phone.  She talks to Lucky about school work.  Then talks to LouLou a
little.  Lucky assures her that dad and Justice are doing everything they
can to get her out.  Laura almost looses it and asks Lucky to take Lou
outside so she can talk to Luke.  As she is talking to Luke, Dara walks
in.  Luke snaps at Dara about eavesdropping on their conversation and
that she wont hear anything incriminating.  She apologizes but says that
she is there to interview a client.
Scene 4
Brenda tell Robin about the resort. Robin being very smart asks how they
all ended up in the same place.  B says it all confusing and R asks her
to start with the cabin.  Brenda makes Robin swear that she won’t tell
anybody because she promised Sonny she wouldn’t say anything but she just
needed to tell someone, especially someone who understands Sonny the way
she does.  Brenda starts telling Robin how they got into the cabin in the
first place (she conveniently forgot to mention that this was her plan).
 She said that it felt like nothing had changed between them but that
their was a lot of stuff they needed to get through because their
emotions were all over the place.  She tell Robin how Sonny told her, in
not so many words, that he still loves her after they both thought they
were going to die.  Robin then asks (this is why I love her so much) what
does this all mean for Lily.
Scene 5
Lily is apologizing to Sonny for putting him on the spot.  Sonny tell her
that his feeling haven’t changed and that he doesn’t regret marrying her.
 Lily explains that when he was missing she told herself that if he
returned alive that she could live without him if it would mean his
happiness.  Sonny tells her that he has everything he needs here.
Scene 6 (after commercial break)
Lily is playing the piano as Sonny is watching her.  Harry comes over to
welcome them back and to tell Sonny about Laura.  Sonny leaves and Lily
and Harry have a heart to heart.  Lily thanks Harry for not mentioning
the phone call and (for the 100th time this month) says that she wishes
she could believe that is over between Brenda and Sonny.
Scene 7
Robin and Brenda are still talking.  Brenda says that Lily is rebound.
So Robin asks does that mean they are breaking up to which Brenda says
she’s not sure and that she’s not even sure if anything that happened did
any good.  She asks “how can he stay with someone feeling the way he
feels about me”.  Robin tells her to give it time and then reassures
Brenda, after Mike walks in, that she won’t tell anyone.  Robin asks
about the big escape and finds out about Jax and Lily and the helicopter.
 Brenda says she thinks she ruined hers and Jax’s friendship and he is
probably wondering where he fits in to this whole picture but “of course
[she] doesn’t have the answer to that one either.” (As a side comment
this whole conversation with Robin was so “real”.  It is the first time
in ages that I felt that Brenda was speaking the truth in a clam,
rational manner.  It really felt natural and not once did I think that
she sounded selfish or unfeeling.  It felt like she understood the
problems and for once was using her head and not her heart.)
Scene 8
Jax is acting dazed and confused as Addy is reading him documents.  After
she realizes that its not business as usual she tell him that she “sorted
his messages into urgent, very urgent, and frothing at the mount.”  She
also said, as she was walking out, that she hopes its not what it looks
like because she’s only seen him this way once before.
Scene 9
Laura tells Luke about the fight in jail and reminds him to tell Mac not
to visit her anymore.
Scene 10
Justice and Like work over Mac to help convince Dara to change her mind
about bail.  Mac makes Luke promise, which he kinda doesn’t, that if she
is released they wont run.
Scene 11
Robin tells Brenda that she wishes nobody would have to get hurt in this
whole thing and then leaves.  Mikes comes over and grills Brenda about
the ankle until she mentions the sky trip.
Scene 12
Harry is trying to describe Sonny’s actions and says that Sonny is not
the kind of guy who lets other take risks.  And in the lines of the day.
        Harry:  He’s a 1 women man and always has been
        Lily (reading my mind): That’s exactly what I’m so afraid of
Scene 13
Sonny at the docks dreaming of Brenda
Scene 14
Sonny is at Lukes talking with Mike.  He finds out about Justice being
Laura’s lawyer and about Mac as polish comish.  Mike asked about the
vacation and Brenda.  (And sonny didn’t blow up...maybe they really are
going to try to make this father son thing work)
Scene 15
Justice pulls a guilt trip on Dara about Laura being in jail that would
bring tears to any Jewish mother.  Dara says she feel sorry for the
children but that doesn’t mean that will change her mind.  Maybe she
could lock up Luke instead as insurance...not a bad thought.
Scene 16
Dara talks to Mac about Laura and how the DA’s office and the police
department need to work together.  Mac agrees that they should both be
“on the side of Justice” (Pun intended)  They banter about letting Laura
out on bail and in the end Mac says that a good starting point in their
relationship was to let her go.
Scene 17
Sonny and Mike discuss Brenda and that lousy weather.  Mike hinted, Sonny
said nothing, it was classic.
Scene 18
(This is a disclaimer...This in my opinion was the best scene today and
I’m a little partial to Jax.  I tried to quote or paraphrase the best
lines so its a lot of he said she said, sorry if its confusing)
Brenda comes to Jax’s apartment.  Jax lets her in but gives her the cold
shoulder.  Jax tells Brenda that he used her and that it seems like her
plan worked.  To which she replies that it she’s not sure.  After more
bantering Brenda asks the dumbest question in breakup hell
        “Why can’t we still be friends”.
        Jax :  “Friends don’t just stand by and watch the other
self-destruct”
        Brenda:  Not a surprise...it seems that everybody deserts her.
        Jax:  “Well, some day when you get a spare moment, you might ask
yourself why?!”
In the end Brenda spouts the thing about him changing the rules.   She
apologizes again about Steel Mountain but says NOW WHAT.
        Jax:  “Let it go”
        Brenda:  “I don’t want to”
        Jax:  “What happened didn’t Sonny fall into line.
        Brenda.:  Don’t be mean to me and that this has nothing to do
with Sonny
Jax politely kicks her out.  As the door closes Jax is visibly upset.
Scene 19
Lily plays the piano.  Sonny sneaks after hearing her play outside and
watches her.  Then he sits next to her and they hold hands and exchange
loving looks.
Scene 20
Dara and Justice go another round of old fashion Jewish guiltriping.  (I
am beginning to really enjoy them together)
Scene 21 (Final Scene)
Luke tells Laura about them pressuring Dara to set bail but they now need
to talk about a more important issue.  “How badly do you (Laura) want to
stay in this town.”

Thats it.
