                                                               General Hospital Update
                                                                 Tues April 09, 1996

Jax talks Brimbo into spending a day of fun, sun and shopping while
they are in SouthCal. Brimbo takes to the surf but doesn't go swimming,
Jax does. He starts to put some moves on her but she talks chummy with him.
Though, she says he reminded her of her Greek mythology class - Adonis.
He blushes. After shopping they relax on a park bench and she says
she will reimburse his expenses. He brings up the possibility of buying
'Deception'. She talks about their friendship but he responds with a
passionate kiss. She says no, they have to be just friends.

Lois comes down from her rented room at Rosie's. Bobi happens to be there
and they talk about trust in a marriage. Ruby is pushing Lois to reconcile
with Weasl. Lois asks her to not reveal her whereabouts if Weasl happens by.
Well, he does happen by and Ruby lies to him. When he leaves he gets a call
from his secretary. Mrs Ashton is in the Emergency Room! Weasl gets there
and is frustrated by lack of immediate attention. The attending doctor spies
him and calmly tells him everything is fine. The little accident just
speeded things along. He is confused [as was i] till she brings him to the
cubicle. Its Jenny! in labor. Paul went out of town and the doctor still
thought Weasl was her husband. Weasl is faced with no option but to hold
Jenny's hand, much to their mutual displeasure.

Meanwhile, Lois is convinced by Bobi and Ruby to make the first approach. She
calls Weasl office and is shocked to hear that he is in the hospital. She
rushes there and is stunned into speachlessness and can just stand there as
she sees Weasl with Jenny. Weasl looks up and sees her. He tries to explain
but she has had it. She asks if he is a professional bigamist. After a few
more comedic turns, involving Jenny as well, Lois finally calms down and
catches on. The doctor still remains clueless.
A boy is delivered and then Weasl asks Jenny not to tell Pual about who
assisted the delivery. After all, he and Paul are pretty bitter enemies.
Jenny acknowledges that but insists that she and Paul don't keep secrets
from each other. While this is going on , Lois (standing behind him) slowly
deflates. Later he tells Lois he was wrong to ask Jenny to do that.

At the PC bus station a new girl arrives in town. She is blonde, wears
dresses that are too short and about 18 [huh, looks much older to me]. At the
phone booth she tears out a few pages from the phonebook. Eventually she
finds herself by Rosie's where she ingratiates herself to Ruby. Turns out
that she if from Florida too. She rents a room.
