              Update for Monday, 4/8/96

OK, I'm apologizing in advance, but the show was boring and
annoying.  Annoying because I have seen GH at its best, and boy
this
isn't it.  Here it goes:

Brenda is released from the hospital into Jax's care.  He wisks
her away for a little R&R in places unknown (to Brenda).  He
promises, that unlike Sonny, he will deliver the goods (meaning
that
the vacation will be perfectly executed).  [I must note her that
for
Brenda to have been knocking on death's door last week, she is
remarkable healed and agile this week].

Sonny shows up to GH and is suprised to find Brenda has been
discharged [I think he was really here this time, it was not, I
repeat, was not a dream, fantasy, or my imagination].

Edward invites Kat over for a little business chat.  She is wary,
but pleased when EdQ offers her Deception on a silver plate.  He'll
absorb all the losses and all she has to do is turn over a check
and
her ELQ stock.  Why?  Because he likes her that's why (and because
he is particularly annoyed at Lucy for involving Jax, who he'd
rather go bankrupt for than enter into a business deal with) [which
makes no sense to me because on a scale of 1 to 10 what Jax did to
the Qs was a 1 compared to what Katy did to them which would be a
10
zillion, I mean she did threaten to have Alan jailed for murder,
and
she did set Ned up for bigamy].

Bobbie turns to Luke for assistance when the loan shark decides to
call the bill past due.  He asks no questions and offers to juggle
the books and pay her debt.  He mentions Tony and she says,
abosutely not.  Luke says he'll make the payment for her and
ventures down to the docks....
