From: Tahnda Bailey tahnda@water.ca.gov Subject: GH: Update for Monday, 3/11/96 Date: 12 Mar 1996 16:52:23 GMT My dear readers, RATSA wants YOU!!! Time is awasting and I haven't filled up the entire 6 weeks that I will be gone with a substitute udater for Mondays. Please email me if you are willing to help out your fellow ratsa-ers who can only keep up with GH via these updates. This has been a public service announcement. On with the update. General Hospital Update for Monday, 3/11/96 by Tahnda Bailey Today was a day for unhappy campers. Not a happy camper in the bunch, but nonetheless, I overcame the ff impulse and got all the details for you. Including listening to Bobbie's dream, which heretofore, I had ff thru with all due haste (do I get some sort of citation for this type of work?) Anyway..... **Unlucky in Games** Luke and Laura discuss the possibility that UNLucky is a liar....or maybe its budding hormones, he's 13 dontcha know (oops, thats AMC ;). They decide hormones is the ticket, and go off to work. UNLucky stops by the family living room to check on stealing more do-re-mi for his gambling debts. Harper stops by with more not so veiled threats. He and UNLucky make arrangements for the next payment. Emily interrupts. Harper makes his exit. Emily (insightful child that she is) unravels the whole mess. UnLucky's main concern is losing Luke's *respect* (this should cause quite the debate on ratsa). Emily offers him the use of her birthday ring to pawn for quick cash. UNLucky couldn't take something that means so much to her, why doesn't she just let him steal something from the Qs, afterall they have sooooo much. Emily is reluctant, but UNLucky fast talks her into it by playing the fear card. "Sonny was right, these are very bad people, and they may bump me (Lucky) off". They head to the Qs **Unlucky in Life** Q's are looking for %. Nedly tells AJ to *shut-up* when AJ tries to join in the reindeer games. The family begins to blame AJ for %'s latest vanishing act because he was the last one seen pummeling % (everyone seems to have forgotten that it was Monica who actually was the last one to pummel %, with a well deserved slap upside the head). Anyway % destroyed his room, and they fear that he won't come back. His violent outburst are a cause for concern. Monica finally admits to the family that Jason is dead. Nedly continues to take digs at AJ. Edward wants to take a firm hand with %. Let % deal with the consequences of his behavior, and clean up the destroyed room himself. Lila is hopeful that the gently Jason will return. The family disperses, and Nedly corners AJ. AJ (finally) takes a stand against Ned. Guilt is a 2-way street. Nedly says he has nothing to feel guilty for, he saved AJ's butt. "Ah, says AJ, but have you told *Lois* about your self-less sacrifice? No, hmmm, I wonder what she will think, lets ask her now and find out, shall we?" Nedly tries to gracefully back down. "Nevermind the guilt, think about what it will do to Monica, your mother, if the truth came out." Ed enters the room and declares that he has cancelled all of %'s credit cards and bank accounts. "% doesn't need money, he has a free ride here." Nedly angrily demands that grandfather rescind his actions immediately. AJ enters the arguement, saying that Nedly's actions are precipitated by *his guilt* over the accident. Nedly is frustrated on every hand as Ed and AJ refuse to do his bidding, Ed wont reinstate %'s finances and AJ won't shut up and leave well enough alone. Meanwhile % arrives at Kelly's looking a little worst for the wear (apparently AJ won their fight last night). There is a room for rent, and % wants it. Ruby offers him the room, food and TLC. He takes her up on the first two. As he tries to make payment for both, Ruby informs him that his money is no good there. % insists, and Ruby then informs him that his money is no good anywhere. % tells her, "I'll be back" ala Schwarrzenegger (sp). Monica returns to the empty library and has some memories of Jason and %. She leaves and UNLucky and Emily arrive to lift a few priceless items. They hear people approaching and hide under the desk. Ned and Ed enter still arguing over Ed's tactics dealing with %. Ed comments that none of this would be happening if Nedly hadn't banged up Jason in the first place. Guilt is what's making you cave into %'s outrageous demands. Nedly, almost at his wit's end, almost confesses, but is interrupted by motorcycle sounds. Ed dives for cover as % storms in, "Jason's not back, I am." again in true Schwarrzenegger form. **Unlucky in sleep** Bobbie goes to see Kevin. She's got problems (what else is new?). She tells Kevin of her dreams. Lots of metaphors, red silk scarf, old fashioned lamp with fringes on the shade, scarf disappears, but red stays. She is terrified. She knows it has something to do with BJ's death (overwhelming sense of loss and sadness). Maybe she's going nuts. Kevin thinks not (but of course I disagree). He recommends she talk to BJ and say those things that she never had the chance to say. **Unlucky in Love** Simone stops by the foundation as Justus is working on his campaign. The press is giving Justus and everyone close to him the blues. Simone wants to help him, politically. Justus tries to keep it strictly business, but he misses Simone. Simone decides its best if she leaves. Justus helps her with her coat, and they snuggle longingly, look deep into each other's eyes, and....., the phone rings. Its about Tommy, he's in trouble at school. A wall comes up between them and Simone rushes out. The Spencers, Mac and Filly arrive to discuss campaign strategy. Laura has arranged a 1-1 interview with Veronica Bowles. Justus is informed that Damien was telling the truth, he has bought up most of Charles Street. More campaign chatter, what Justus needs is a wife. On cue, Simone walks back in. Laura suggests a quickie marriage, but they say no, Tommy's trouble at school was defending Simone's honor. The kids think Justus is a crook. Simone leaves, Justus suffers. That's all folks... As always, a totally impartial update by.....Tahnda@water.ca.gov Feel free to send all comments, criticisms and flames!
