Subject: GH: Update Wed. 3/6/96 Date: Wed, 13 Mar 1996 18:04:36 -0800 From: Pat Herman pat@aimnet.com General Hospital Update Wednesday, March 6, 1996 The Mobster vs. The Principal ----------------------------- It's morning at the Penthouse and Sonny comes down the stairs to the living room. Lily comes out of the kitchen holding a tray with two coffee cups. She tells Sonny that she is having a wonderful fantasy, but he needs to be clean shaven with a towel around his waist. He tells her he'd be more than happy to cooperate, after he finishes his business. The doorbell rings and two rather large bodyguards are standing there. Lily is worried about what Sonny is going to do, but he tells her not to worry. She goes back upstairs and Sonny makes sure that his two assistants know what they are supposed to do. They take off to pay Mr Marley (Lily's principal) a visit. As the three men enter his office, Mr Marley tells Sonny that as his secretary told them he really doesn't have a lot of time this morning. He's got another meeting to attend. Sonny makes himself comfortable in a chair opposite Mr. Marley while the two bodyguards stand at the door. Sonny's appearance and mannerisms are clearly intimidating Mr. Marley, and Sonny asks him to explain why Lily was fired. Mr. Marley tries to get an explanation out, but before he's done, Sonny has managed to convince him that Lily should have her job back, and Mr. Marley will personally apologize to Lily for the "misunderstanding". Mr Marley leaves his office and Sonny looks quite pleased with himself. Back at the Penthouse, Sonny tells Lily that she is expected back at school tomorrow. Lily and Sonny celebrate with a glass of chanpaign. Sonny tells Lily that he is worried about his reputation affecting her. She assures him that things will bet back to normal soon. However, Sonny's not so sure since he's lost his privacy. His life is in the newspaper for all to read. Lily tells him that she is okay, and it makes her feel closer to him. These's only one thing that she's worried about - Damian. She thinks that he might try to make trouble for Sonny. Sonny assures her that all of the links between him and Damian have been destroyed or tainted and promises that "Damian can't make trouble for anyone." It's a Date ----------- Felicia is in her apartment picking up stuffed animals and toys that are scattered about. There's a knock at the door and the act of opening the door causes her to drop all of the items she just picked up. Tom enters and helps her pick everything up. She says she furious over the article about Justice in the newspaper. Tom tells her that they are going away on Friday. She agrees to the plan, and he says that he'll take care of all the arrangements, including the child care. She can just sit back and be surprised. At the hospital, Tom, Steve, and Audry are at the nurse's station. Another doctor has resigned and Steve is upset that that makes four doctors that have resigned in the last month. They're all leaving to join HMO's. Tom tells Steve that he shouldn't worry - He's got his core staff of doctors and they aren't going anywhere. Besides Tom is in a good mood due to his upcoming date and nothing is going to spoil that. He invites Steve to join him in the cafeteria for a cup of coffee. Have You Stopped Beating Your Wife? ----------------------------------- Kathy (I love when Lucy calls her that) and Mac are at the outback. Kathy tells Mac that she's going to do something she normally doesn't do - She's going to pamper herself with a massage, facial, pedicure - the works. Mac offers her his pedicure services for free, but she turns him down. Mac's reading the newspaper and says he's disgusted by the stories about Justus. In typical Kathy fashion, she is concerned about herself and asks if her name is mentioned. It's not and Mac says that he's sure that Damian is behind all of this. Kathy offers to cancel her appointment to keep Mac company, but he tells her that it's not necessary and off she goes. Justus, Luke, and Laura arrive at the Outback. Luke warns Mac that he better have had a good reason for dragging them down there as his plate of sausage and eggs is getting cold on his breakfast table. Mac tells them that he's been following Justus' campaign and has a very important question for him. "When did you stop beating your wife?", Mac asks. Before Justus can answer Mac keeps at it with more personal questions about his childhood (Did his father beat his mother?) as well as Mary Mae and Ward House. Luke and Laura catch on and tell Justus that he better have answers for Mac's questions and things like this will keep coming up. By now, Felicia has come over to the table and wonders what's going on. Justus is taken aback by the question, but answers that he's never been married and his family wasn't abusive. As he gets more impassioned with his rebuttal, Luke, Laura, and Mac get an approving look on their faces. Justus, a little slow this morning, finally realizes that this was a test. He's going to have to be prepared for these types of accusations. In order to be prepared, Mac and Felicia talk Justus into hiring them to investigate him. Their job will be to come up with anything that could be damaging to Justus before his opponents do. Later Mac and Felicia are brainstorming ideas for gathering information about Justus. Kathy comes in fresh from her makeover and listens to what they are saying. She offers to help, but Mac turns her down. She then offers to do PR work for Justus, since that's her specialty. Mac turns her down again. He tells her that he and Felicia will be done soon and tells her to go get a cup of coffee. Mac explains to her and Felicia that he doesn't want Kathy involved because of Damian. She goes and sits at the end of the bar looking all mad and pouty. Since she's working on a case, Felicia realizes that she can't go away with Tom this weekend. She tries to tell him she can't go, but he says it's too late. All of the plans have been made, and she can't get out of it. The Interpretation of Dreams ---------------------------- Bobbie has her recurring dream again - the window with the light coming through the blinds, the red rose, and the voice saying "time". Tony comes into the bedroom, and she tells him she had the dream again. However, it's different this time. There was a clock ticking and bars that looked like a prison cell. Then a woman's hand reached through the bars. Tony thinks that she's dreaming because she's overworked. He asks her to talk to Kevin since he also thinks that the dream has to do with Bobbie's greiving for BJ. Bobbie promises to talk to Kevin is she has the dream again. At the hospital, Diane (the teen mother) comes to see Bobbie. They start to talk but Bobbie gets called away on an emergency. When Bobbie gets back, Diane is still there. She couldn't leave. She needed to talk to Bobbie because she's the only one who understands. She tells her that she knows she doesn't have the means to take care of the baby and she should go back to school, but she wants her baby back. Diane asks Bobbie to find out how her baby is doing. If she knows he's okay, maybe she can move forward with her life. She thanks Bobbie and leaves.
