Update for the week of Feb 19 - Feb 23 from the local newspaper:
Justus was surprised when Edward offered to fund Ward House so that Mary Mae's
work with the children can continue.  Lucky, who is addicted to gambling, got
himself out of one scrape and into another.  Damian's bodyguards learned that
Eve and Norma were really Kevin and Mac.  An unwitting Damian offered to pay
Sam Cash (Luke) to get him a key to Lucy's room at the spa.  After managing to
separate Lucy from the rest of the Port Charles continent, Damian demanded to
know what she was up to.  Sonny had Harry, his underworld connection, do some
more checking into Jax's background.  Sonny barged in on Brenda's date with
Jax then warned Jax to stay away from Brenda and Lois.  Brenda intends to find
out what makes Jax tick.  Jason had Ned take him to the scene of his accident
but it did not jog Jason's memory.  Keesha encouraged A.J. to attend AA
meetings after he went on a drunken binge.

And now the Friday 2/23/96 update...

After talking to Lois, Brenda figured out that it was probably Sonny who
sabotaged her date with Jax.  She told Lois that he did it because he still
loved her.  Lois warned her to let it be and move on with her life.  Brenda,
of course, ignored the advice and went to Sonny's apartment. She confronted
him about having her "kidnapped" and of course he denied it.  After a long
and drawn out semi-argument between them Sonny finally admitted that he cared
for her but he can't act on it because he gave his word to Lily to be an
upstanding husband.  Lily, who was just coming into the apartment then, only
heard the last part of his statement about "giving his word".  She and Brenda
had an ugly little scene and Brenda called Lily a "Stepford Wife" before she
huffed off.  Later on, Lily and Sonny discussed what happened with Brenda;
Lily, who showed a great deal of insight and maturity about the whole
situation, told Sonny that she still loved him and she understood that he was
working through his old feelings for Brenda.  Sonny was awed that she loved
him enough to give him that kind of understanding.

In Texas, Damian sent Lucy a note asking her to meet him in the women's sauna.
Norma and Eve stationed themselves in the sauna ahead of time.  Damian's
Amazons then locked the boys in the steam room.  They realized lucy was alone
and at Damian's mercy!  They found an air vent and planned to use it to make
their escape.  Meanwhile, Lucy answered a knock on the door and there stood
Damian!

Lucky got hooked up with another high-stakes poker game.  He was almost
bowled over by the "rush" when he won a big pot and managed to clear $30 from
the game.  He told the guys he was up for another game the next day.
