Hi, sorry its a little late, but I'm still playing catchup from
being away for a week on business (drat that job ;)  My first
valentine away from my sweeties, and boy did I miss them.  Needless
to say, everyone was *really* glad to see Mom return (including
Mom,
imagine that).  Anyway, on with the update, abbreviated, yet
complete (in its own way).  And as an added bonus, no Katyblech for
the first time since I took on this job.

              General Hospital
              Update for Monday, 2/19/96

**Restaurant Business**
Sonny runs into to Lois at the PC hotel and quizzes her about Jax.
He says he concerned about his intervention in L&B business, but
Lois sees thru to the real deal, Brenda.  Lois assures Sonny that
she will take care of her "best friend" and keep a close eye on the
happenings between Brenda and Jax.  They then spy Justus having the
day from heck.  As Justus prepares to drown his sorrows in 2-double
bourbons (sp), Lois intervenes.  She invites to sit down and
commiserates with Justus re: his recent losses.  First Mary Mae,
then Simone, and now the City coucil.  Its no wonder he's feeling
mighty low.  She'd worry if he didn't.  Go ahead and fall apart,
they all have been there and done that.  Lois leaves and Sonny and
Justus chatter.  Justus asks for a job, Sonny declines for Justus'
benefit.  Justus points out his job qualifications, he's a good
lawyer and he's observant.  Checking his powers of observation,
Sonny quizzes him about Jax.  Justus is quite insiteful, Jax is
brash, arrogant, rich, and sweet on Lois.  Sonny is impressed.

Lily arrives and they do lunch after Justus leaves.  Lily excuses
herself so Sonny can conduct "business"  Sonny asks Harry to run a
thorough check on Mr. Jax.  Harry offers to be of more assistance,
but Sonny declines......for now.

**Risky Business**
At the gate house Brenda and Ned coo over Eddie's success.  They
also discuss Jax.  Brenda says she's got him, Nedly wonders.
Perhaps Jax is chasing Lois as a cover while he steals the gold
from
their teeth, it would be just like the Jax brothers.  Brenda thinks
that Ned underestimates Lois' charms.  He doesn't, and warns Brenda
to be very very careful around Jax.  He's smarter than he looks.
Brenda decides that she knows the male species better than Ned and
sets up a fly-date with Jax (he's going to teach her to fly....in a
plane).

**Monkey Business**
Norma and Eve are back, looking a litte worst for wear if you ask
me, especially Eve (who used to have a tawdry appeal, according to
Luke).  They intercept Damien's body guards bugging
Lucy's suite.  They cover nicely and the body guards leave.  Norma
and Eve debug the place and wait for Luce.

Meanwhile, Sam LL Cash meets up with Damien.  The two chatter (and
the obviously blind Damien doesn't recognize Luke, what other
explanation can their be?)  Jr (as Luke calls him) bets Sam that he
can't get the key of the vivacious, *HOT* (according to SOD awards)
babe sitting on the patio pouring on the suntan oil (which amazes
me
since she is wearing panty hose with her spandex shorts).  Sam
takes
that bet and puts his best moves on the babe.  With Jr. watching
from the window, Luke and Lucy pretend to be exchanging niceties
while all the while plotting Jr's fall.  Sam returns to Jr. and
admits defeat.  The babe, named Lucy Coe, wasn't interested in his
best moves.  Apparently she's out her searching for her inner-child
and moping over the loss of an old friend.  Hmmmmmmm, says Damien
thoughtfully....
