                            GH Update for 02/16/96

Scene 1
Mac tells Kat they found the "dead" Damian and explains their plans to use
Norma and Eve.
Scene 2
Keesha mopes around until Justus arrives looking for Laura who turns out to be
tending to her kid again [that brat has more ear problems than an Iowa corn
field]. She snaps at him, and he apologizes for ragging on her while she's
kvetching over Jason's blow up at her at Luke's.
Scene 3
Jason breakfasts peacefully until AJ saunters in and presses him with how are
you questions. Ned arrives and privately tells AJ to leave Jason alone. AJ
tries to argue but eventually stomps out pouting.  Jason and Ned discuss Eddie
Main and rock and roll a bit. Jason comments that Keesha made his head hurt
[Amen].
Scene 4
Katherine tells Justus that the fearsome-foursome spotted Damian in San
Antonio. He immediately calls the DA and sets up a meeting.
Scene 5
Lucy tries to play Barbie-make-up with Eve and Norma, but the he-shes balk at
having their eyelashes curled. Luke arrives in his old man guise, and they go
over Plan A again.
Scene 6
Simone goes to see Justus to talk things out.  She admits he's probably right
about Tommy, she thinks they (read that he) have another problem about
compromising.  He begins to restate his opinion, but she gets that woman's look
that says "man, you are so blind." He wants to move on with their life
together, but she insists they must discuss "Their Problem."  "What problem?"
he shouts frustrated [that snippet of dialog sure rang true]. Eventually, she
leaves with the situation not only unsettled, but probably worse than before.
Scene 7
Jax pops over to the gatehouse looking for Brenda (or Lois perhaps), but
encounters Ned instead, who tells him sternly to bug out.
Scene 8
Luke, hamming it up in major way, strolls around the spa in disguise.  He
checks in at the desk and heads out just as Eve and Norma arrive to an
incredulous look from the desk girl.
Scene 9
Lois arrives to also question Jax as to why he's still hanging around.  He does
his usual smiling and joking before leaving.
Scene 10
The DA comes to see Justus who toys with him a little before revealing that
Damian is alive. When the DA is skeptical, Justus threatens to use Sigmund to
make him look the fool unless he backs off Katherine.
Scene 11
Ned tells Lois he's concerned about what Jax might really be up to in PC. "An
ELQ takeover?" she queries.
Scene 12
Luke and the "girls" discuss what to do with Damian once they get him.  Luke
claims he has a plan, but the others are dubious.
Scene 13
As Simone sits in the park, "Little Bit" (Keesha) [is that a reference to her
brain?] strolls by. They sit and chat about their respective woes.  Keesha
whines about Jason not liking her anymore, then Simone goes into the usual
litany of relationships and validation of feelings [now there's a phrase
guaranteed to cause a guy's eyes to glaze right over] and listening to a
partner's opinions [hey, it's not like men don't hear women, it's just that
they have a much bigger "kill" file :)].
Scene 14
Justus tells Kat the DA will probably drop the charges. She's understandably
elated.
Scene 15
Lucy checks into the spa and asks for the room next to the guys'. She then
tells the manager to give a message to Damian Smith. Of course, the manager
denies Damian is a guest, but Lucy slyly pretends she understands he's just
covering and tells him to have Damian meet her in her room later.  When he
continues to feign ignorance, she says Damian will be very unhappy if he
doesn't find out she's there.
