                Update for Monday, 2/5/96

This update is dedicated to my son, Spencer, who is turning 1, on Wednesday,
2/7/96. Happy Birthday Spencer!!!!!

Now on with the update...

Today was quite a day in PC, and today's episode will hence forth be
called, *Love is a Many Splendored Thing*

**I WANT to Love You***
Lois and Jax are on their way back to PC in his private jet. Jax is a pilot
extraordinare. They are discussing the success of the first part of Lois'
plan.
Double entendre is flowing fast and furious between the two as Jax makes it
evident that he things Lois is the cat's meow. Jax reminds Lois that Nedly
will
have to be kept in the dark about their deal or he's be in danger of collusion
(since he is the CEO of the company she is ripping off, based on the insider
info she got as his wife). Lois tells Jax of the heightened sense of honesty
that exists in her marriage because of things past. She also tells Jax he can
skip the "pseudo-seduction" because her marriage is solid. Lois then babbles
on
about how thrilling, exciting, etc it is to be in Jax's plane (as tho this is all
new to her???)

**I Do Love ME**
Kevin arrives at Mac's to be greeted by the news that Lucy has flown the coup.
She is tracking down Damien in San Antonio on her own since everyone was being
so difficult about her visions. Mac has decided that Lucy may be right and
plans on going to SA over Kat's very vocal objections (her exact words were
"what about ME? What if this is a ruse to get you out of town so I'm left
unprotected."). Mac, the spamhead, says that that is a little far-fetched, but
nevertheless, he will put Robin in peril to protect Kat, and will hire extra
protection and call in the cops, the mounties, and anyone else he can get to
stand guard and protect the hapless, ah hopeless, oops helpless Ms. Bell. Mac
also decides that Luke should be invited to this party.

**I WISH I could Love YOU**
As we rejoin the wedding of the century, Lil has stopped the wedding, "I can't
do this to YOU" Sonny responds eloquently, "You didn't ask for anything, I'm
doing this because its what I want, I promise. I choose and want YOU. I trust
you with my life. This is about family, forever. I'll respect, appreciate,
and
take care of you, I promise. He asked if I'll cherish and honor you from this
day forward, Yes Lily, I will, I swear." (notice that throughout the entire
speech never ONCE did he mention that he loves, loved, or will love her today,
tomorrow, yesterday, or forever. Truly a man who knows how NOT to say
something). Anyway, Lil is convinced and the ceremony goes on without another
hitch. They are now man and wife. Brenda, watching silently in the back of
the
room walks out unseen, dejected and devastated.

Meanwhile the wedding party goes back to Lukes. Lily tells everyone how
thankful she is and how much she loves everybody (still no L-word from Sonny).
Rivera and Mike (Corbin that is) welcome eachother to the family with the shake
of in-laws. Rivera comments how full and happy he is to have his daughter
back,
and Sonny for a son. Sonny tells the room at large that he is happier (but not
that he is in love). Everyone comments how everyone trusts each other. Rivera
then makes a quick exit (because the police may mis-construe the event), but
not
before once again commenting that "we are family" (anyone else hearing Sister
Sledge in the background?) Lily and Sonny dance ala the Godfather wedding
scene
to "You Belong to Me". After Luke disentangles himself from the hapless trio
(see below) he toasts the happy couple, they cut cake, and get ready to
honeymoon in Vermont (Lil wants to play in the snow). Lil tosses the bouquet,
which Ruby catches and hands off to Kat, who exchanges a meaningful glance with
Mac. The couple make their exit where they pause at the door for a kodak
moment, and Lil exhales (from the movie Waiting to Exhale, those who have seen
it know what I mean, those who haven't, it means Lil thinks all is perfect in
her world....she finally found a GOOD man)

**I DO Love You (her)**
In the meantime, the hapless trio (Kat, Mac and Kevin) intrude on Lil's big day
to seek Luke's help in San Antonio. He agrees, and then tells Kevin that his
tenderfoot status negates his participation in this here pow-wow. Kevin
responds beautifully, "You know SA, I know *LUCY* like the back of my hand.
I've earned my stripes. She's my hair-brained schemer!" However, in a move
designed to annoy only me, Kevin agrees to stay in PC and watch over Kat.

**I DON'T Love YOU**
Keisha visits the amnesiac Jason. She has brought him all his favorite things
(cookies, perfect pear, Grandmae's lemonade). Who's Grandmae? She's dead.
Sorry, did I know her? Yes, am I getting on you nerves? Yes, I like some
people, like Ned and Lois, but the rest of you...keep expecting things,
expecting someone I don't know. But I love you. I Don't love you. I'm sorry
I
made you sad. You didn't make ME sad, I'm not sad, YOU are (As you can tell,
Keisha and Jason have finally gotten to the crux of the matter, when in
walks...)

AJ, babbling like always about how wonderful and saintly Jason was, and how
wicked and drunken he was. Jason couldn't care less. AJ then puts foot in
mouth for the final time and Keisha hustles him out of the room. She then
speaks of her unkind feelings towards Ned and Lois, whom newJason likes, even
tho "Ned" put him in this condition. AJ is sorry...again, and comments how
Jason is the closest he'll ever get to heaven. AJ is of course, wracked with
guilt. He then goes home and is tempted by a bit of the bubbly, but decides to
take a drink of the water housed in the cut lead crystal (which we are supposed
to believe is vodka). AJ is once again on the road to ruin...
