OK guys, this is my first update, so please send me lots and lots of feedback
(I can take it). Sorry about that first post, pushed send just a little bit
too
soon.

For those who wondered, the opening credits now reflect life's passages, Stone
and Mary Mae are gone, and Robin has a new picture...alone.

                 Life Goes On

**Life Goes On, L&B style**
Lois and Brenda return to the gatehouse from MaryMae's funeral and spend time
remembering the good times (MM singing at the Blue's Club, MM at the Nurse's
Ball, MM signing on with L&B). They agree that the Wards are lucky to have
each other in times like these.

They also ponder their own mortality as Lois inquires what went thru their
minds when they heard about her plane going down. Brenda (and Ned) never lost
the faith and Lois was worried about everyone worrying about her.

Lois then comments on how proud she is that Brenda has decided to let life go
on after Sonny. Brenda disabuses her of that notion and recaps the dress
burning incident. Lois is more than a little amused as Brenda declares her
innocence. Brenda finally admits to Lois that when she saw the dress she
*did*want to do permanent damage, but decided to exercise self-control. Is it
her fault that fate stepped in where self-control had decided not to go? And
*why* did Sonny have to treat me (Brenda) like dirt (He called me (Brenda) a
spoiled, jealous brat)? Lois is surprised that Brenda was surprised by Sonny's
action. Surely you (Brenda) can see just how LAME your story is? Surely he
(Sonny) can see how jealous and lonely *I* (Brenda) am? Lois to Brenda: "Its
Over" Brenda: "For Now"

Before Lois can pursue this train of throught, Ned arrives. Eddie Maine will
rock again! The trio plot Edward Qs comeuppance at the Outback, where Eddie
will put on the concert to end all concerts, without Edward's approval. Altho
the lawyers have advised against any such action, Ned is certain that Edward
will find his hands tied. "He can't very well have his CEO carted off to
jail in leather pants!" Or can he?

**Life Goes On at the Ward House** (The KFC man is BACK!!!)
Keisha and Dave (her father, the KFC man) are cleaning up after the funeral.
Justus wanders in and they discuss how wonderful it was to see how loved
GrannyMae was. The funeral was quite a tribute to her life.

Dave gets down to business and says that things will never be the same.
Meaning, all bets are off, Keisha will be moving back to Philly! As Justus
looks on, Keisha and Dave have it out. She is *not* leaving Jason. He needs
her and she *will* be there for him. After all, she is 21 years old, old
enough
to make her own decisions. Dave points out that as long as he is paying the
bills, he will have a say in any decision she makes. Keisha declares that he
is
hereby relieved of *all* financial responsibility. Dave scoffs, where is she
going to get the money? She will file for financial aid at school and get a
raise from the foundation, because they appreciate all her hard work, even if
Dave doesnt. At this point, Justus interrupts, Uncle Dave, Simone and I will
keep an eye on Keisha. Keisha is focused, she is smart, she is hardworking,
and
if she leaves, who will take over Ward House? The children at Ward House need
someone and Keisha is the perfect choice. Dave caves in like a ton of bricks.
Keisha will stay in PC ... on a trial basis.

**Life Goes On at the Hospital**
Alan is keeping a running dialogue with Jason (who I must comment is sporting
the haircut from h*ll). Jason asks what happened? There was a terrible
accident, but everything is going to be alright. You, my perfect son, are
goint
to make a complete recovery.....Jason looks slightly confused, By the way, WHO
ARE YOU???? An obviously devastated Alan, "I'm you father." Jason, not
convinced, "are you sure." Alan, "yes". Jason, in a chillingly emotionless
voice, "why are you here?" Alan, trying not to breakdown, "because, you make
me
look good. You're a straight A student, a varsity athlete, who wouldn't want a
son like you? You're also a very important part of this family"

Later, AJ is talking to a non-responsive Jason. Keisha arrives. She and AJ
chat about the outpouring of love at the funeral, and AJ (in a move that can
only be called stupid) invites Keisha to go spend some quality time with Jason.
AJ is sure that Jason will respond to her since he's been talking in complete
sentences all day. He tells Keisha that Jason is "a little confused", but
that's going to change real soon. Keisha rushes into the room, declaring her
love for Jason. "Welcome back, I've missed you. I fought with Dad and won.
No
way would I ever leave you. Dad finally understands how much I love you and
want to stay with you. We will build the most amazing new life together." As
Keisha is rambling on, Jason continues to stare at her blankly. Finally he
interrupts to ask the all important question, "*Who* are YOU?" Keisha, totally
devastated (its obvious no one had prepared the poor child), "I love you!"
Jason, in an emotionless monotone, "If you say so." Keisha in tears rushes
from
the room, to ask the room at large, "He doesn't know who I am?!?!?!

**Life Goes On at the Outback**
Tom enters spouting poetry to the lovely Filly. She is impressed. Tom finds
himself with lots of free time, Filly comments that she has none. As Filly
continues to chatter, Tom begins to have daydreams. In his dreams, Filly,
dressed to the nines, tells Tom to let them take care of eachother. She's been
waiting for him. "Runaway for a wild weekend of crazy passion" Filly says as
she nibbles his ear. "I've been aching for you, Tom. Help me Tom, I'm
drowning
in a lonely sea. Be my life guard of Love." Filly, realizing that she does
NOT
have Tom's attention, inquires if something is wrong. Tom (in what qualifies
as
the Line of the day), "I seem to be suffering from an amazing combination of
ego." He then admits to daydreaming.

In runs Lois to setup the Eddie Maine concert for *this* Friday. Oddly enough,
the Outback is available. Lois then explains the purposes of the concert, to
get Edward's goat. "Bully's are cowards at heart" Lois then tells a childhood
story of her brother who was beatup by bullies. Her father told him that
bully's just needed someone to stand up to them. Her brother stood up to the
bully and got his clock cleaned, but that's not the point. In this case,
justice will prevail and Edward will get what he deserves.

**Life Goes on and Stops with Kat**
(Please note that I am **striving** to be impartial, so when I say whined, she
really was whining). Mac and Kat await Lucy and Kevin. Kat whines at how this
is just like Lucy, milking her positon of power for all its worth. Apparently
at MM's funeral they had arranged to meet back at Mac's house after paying
their
respects. Mac points out that Kevin and Lucy are probably paying their
respects
at Ward house. To which Kat responds that she *knows* that this is killing
*ME*, she should have broken all speed laws to get over here. Mac again tries
to point out that Kevin would not allow Lucy to yank their chains like that.
To
which Kat responds, "who knows what Kevin would do, he *does* hang out with
Lucy". Fortunately, Lucy and Kevin arrive before she can continue her tirade.
Lucy smugly points out, "isn't life amazing. Only I, the person you despise
most in this world, can get you off the hook." Kat would rather take her
chances with the grand jury. Lucy promises to tell the police *only* what she
saw, and not make value judgements about Kat. Afterall, she's not that
surprised that Damien was bumped off. Damien was the only person she knew who
antagonized so many people in his life...but wait, the same thing can be said
about Kat. Good thing the Doc has come into my life and helped me strive to be
a better person

Lucy recounts the events: Sigmund was being unruly (quacking loudly against
Lucy's best efforts to shut him up) She glanced at the clock and it was
11:21pm. She remembers this because the last 4 digits of her cell phone were
1121 before she had to get the number changed. But she digresses. Anyway, she
checked the apartment to see if there was anything to excite the fowl, there
was
nothing. She decided to look out the window, which is when she saw Kat's car.
She thought that was odd, because Kat was supposed to be in Miami hiding from
Damien, but instead, whe was in the Outback parkinglot. She turned back to
Sigmund, heard tires screeching, turned back to the window, and Kat's car was
tearing out of the parking lot. She did *not* see any sign of Damien, or
anyone
else for that matter, only Kat.

Euphoria strikes Mac and Kat. Lucy has just smashed holes in the PCPD's
timeline. Good, says Lucy, because she knows the feelings between Kat and
Damien, and she knows how terrified Kat was of Damien, and she believes that
Kat
would do *anything* to stop him. Mac goes to give Justus the good news.

Justus agrees that Lucy's testimony should put an end to any charges against
Kat
(It only gives Kat 6hrs 20Min to account for, which they believe is not enough
for her to have done the deed). He calls the DA, who is very interested in
what
this new witness has to say.
