Daily Updates
Date: Sun, 21 Jan 1996 22:52:05 CST From: U14780@uicvm.uic.edu Subject: GH: Update for Fri 01/19/96 GH Update for 01/19/96 By John R. Andrews, UIC Today was devoted mainly to the Mae Mae service. However, I FF'd most of it so don't expect too many details. Scene 1 Lois and Ned snuggle in bed and banter about the dearly departed diva. Scene 2 Felicia, Simone, and Tom start to discuss problems with Tommy. Scene 3 While Robin rambles incessantly to the carrot-like Jason, he suddenly turns his head toward her [probably to say shut the Hell up]. When she asks him to squeeze her hand, he does so weakly, and she runs off to get others. Scene 4 Alan talks to Jason, and he responds verbally but softly. Scene 5 Simone says Tommy is coping with Mae Mae's death by being happy that Justus' and Simone's wedding has been postponed and assumes it has been cancelled. Tom agrees to make it clear to his son that's not true. Scene 6 Lois and Ned continue to discuss the silenced songstress. Ned also says he thinks he has a way to deal with Edward. He proposes they book the Idle Rich in PC and promote it big time. Lois worries that Edward will sue them, but Ned assures her that Big Ed does not want a public fight now. Scene 7 Felicia congratulates Tom on not being such a jerk lately. He tells her that her approval is important to him. She takes that a cue for them to hustle out the door before things got to mushy. Scene 8 Edward and AJ stand outside before the service begins and converse about the charnel chanteuse. Edward starts to compliment AJ on his stand-up behavior following Jason's accident when Alan arrives with the good news. Eventually, all the local regulars appear including the lately seldom seen Laura. Finally, Kevin and Lucy, who have returned early from their vacation, show up. While Lucy chats with Luke, Mac and Katherine fill Kevin in on the basics of the Damian/Katherine affair. Kevin remembering what Lucy told him about seeing Katherine is perplexed but does not say anything. Later inside, he tells Lucy what he heard, and she revels in the irony that she controls Katherine's fate, but with a little prodding from Kevin, she pantomimes to Mac and Katy, "I saw you in the parking lot." They are understandably elated. Scene 9 The memorial service consisted of sevral people speaking and a choir singing. Scene 10 Various flashbacks of Mae Mae.
