                           General Hospital Update
                             Tuesday Dec 26, 1995

I will no longer use Brimbo to refer to July's sister. I will now use Tish -
The Idiotic Selfcentered Hussie. Go Lily.

Mac talks to Robin about the trip to 'Duck' Island, with its one town and one
hotel. When he tells her that he literally stepped on the idea at the GH
part, she points out that means that someone else has been thinking about
'Duck' Island, maybe Steve and Audrey. Mac is unconcerned since he and
Natasha plan to spend their time inside. He gives her the phone number and
asks her to not tell anyone. She assures him that she will be fine without
him for a couple of weeks.

Kevin gives Tom the info on his trip with Lucy. He tells Tom about the duck
motif running thru the relationship. Kevin doesn't want to be disturbed while
on vacation as he wants a full week without Port Chuck. Tom says a week
should give him enough time to move into Kevin's office. Kevin doesn't smile.
Kevin then goes to the Outback. He talks with Mac but neither will tell the
other their vacation plans. Kevin leaves and Fily comes in. Mac fills her in
on the vacation plans. She is not happy about it and tries, unsuccesfuly, to
make Mac feel guilty. Mac leaves, Tom enters. He asks why Mac is so happy and
she tells him 'cause he is going to a week in paradise with the woman he
loves while she stays behind to tend bar. While being served coffee Tom
analyzes Tommy's behavior. He astutely figures that Tommy is angry at Tom but
is afraid to react to Tom since it might drive him away again. Fily guesses
that Tommy is also testing to see if Justus can be driven away. Tom asks if
Fily is upset that Mac is away with another woman. She says no, its just his
going on vacation and she isn't.  They arrange to pick up their conversation
later that evening. Later that evening, he assists her in creating drinks.
Interestingly, he says he is staying non-alchol due to Philly. They go for a
drink to remind people of Hawaii. He talks about scenary from Hawaii and
whale watching, then they start playing make-believe. They are having a nice
time and actually start dancing behind the bar.

Tish comes into LUKES demanding to know where Prince is. Mike and Luke try to
put her off and tell her not to ask questions. Mike mentions that Prince
spent the night at his place. Luke is pleasantly suprised. Tish tells them
that Prince loves her and persists in asking what is going on. Luke says they
should just sit tight, be glad that Prince is out of prison and let Prince
make his moves. Tish is not enlightened or disuaded.

Boris meets Prince at a park bench, pretending to read a paper. Prince asks
if he really thinks anyone would think that this was a casual meeting. Boris
notes that at least he is trying. Boris wants to know who came up with the
bail. Prince says a friend. Boris says he was trying to get the money
together and reminds Prince the ball got rolling against them due the 18G.
Prince states he would do it all again. He then lets Boris in that the fix is
in. He then assures Boris that there will be no scapegoating and they split.

Boris goes to the hospital and arranges with Dr Practical to rent the doc's
beach house till spring. Boris needs a remote location for a special project.
He arrives at the beach house and is very pleased with the remoteness of it
all. He ominously says "Yes indeed, this is very nice. Oohh, Katherine you
are in for a treat."

Prince arrives at LUKEs. Mike greets him with a "Hi roomie" and Prince says

                    "Don't push it".   He tells Luke that Boris thinks that
Prince will bail out on him. Luke sees nothing wrong with that, but Prince
says that is not his style. Luke than tells him another problem has arisen,
Tish. Prince is very unhappy. A bit late Tish comes in. Prince is waiting for
her. They talk but he can't get through her thick skull. He finally tells her
to just stay away from him and leaves. She turns to Luke who tells her to
respect Prince's wishes. [Can we please keep in mind Prince is a gangster?]

At 'Duck Island' the 2 couples, unbeknowest to each other. Lucy [Lynn, honey,
get back your old makeup artist] has brought a ton of candles. Turns out the
hotel is kind of dumpy. Each couple starts making out, and Mac puts on his
portable radio. K&L are distressed to hear that there are other people there.
Kevin puts on his protable radio and a battle of the radios ensue. Lucy
finally lights her candles to take their mind off the music. Unfortunately,
the aroma gets to Kevin and he suggests they get air on the porch. The smell
gets to Natasha also, and Mac suggests fresh air on the porch. The 2 women
see each other and start whimpering.
