                           General Hospital Update
                              Tues Dec 12, 1995

A real BABE and a "Shut Up, AJ!" - can't ask for me than that.
(note: i have yet to find my tape of 12-05. no that crisis is over, for now,
 i will look over the weekend.) WARNING - spelling is off this week.

Lois and Weasl come back from the photo shoot. Brimbo tells them about EdQ
buying out Prince and that she sold her own shares, due to her connection to
Prince, to EdQ also. Brimbo finally has a light bulb go off and she says she
tried calling the studio and the cell phone but got no answer. The cell phone
batteries are dead. They rush off to the big house.

Prince and Boris meet in the cold, dark park. They agree to what they had
agreed. Prince keeps shut, Boris pays all bills. Boris doesn't believe that
Luke is the source and acosts Natasha outside the Outback. He threatens her
without threatining her and lets her know his suspicions.

Lucy tells Mac & Fily about her buying Prince's share of LUKES. She invites
them to a party and when they mention that they are the competition, she
starts fufumfering. She hadn't realized. She leaves to discuss things with
Luke. Fily opines that Laura would prefer Prince with all his baggage and his
loyalty to the thing called Lucy.

A women walks into LUKES, drawing Mike's attention. She presents Luke with
her , impecable, resume. When Mike controls his panting, he strongly urges
Luke's hiring her. (have i mentioned that she's a stunner even though she's
not a looker - ahh, charisma) Luke asks her to pronounce her name, which is
one of those 25 sylables with 3 vowels things. He asks what they are supposed
to call her and she says "Babe". Mike walks stiffly away as Babe leaves. Lucy
passes her on her way in and inquires. Lucy doesn't understand why she wasn't
consulted and doesn't understand the concept of quiet partner. She then
proceeds to drive Luke nuts with her inane ideas for the place. Luke warns
her not to push things and that everything has to paid for up front -
including her party. Lucy is not pleased.

EdQ has the smile of a cat who just ate the canary on his face. AJ is just
recovering from EdQ's latest lambast when Alan and Monica come in. AJ is very
glib and making all sorts of wisecracks. They want to know what he is going
to be doing now and defending him against EdQ when the L&B trio. Weasl says
that whatever the current argument is, put it aside because its their turn.
EdQ is quite proud of his accomplishment of getting complete control of L&B,
and more importantly Weasl. Weasl is not allowed to sing, McUgly's contract
has been sold and Lois and Brimbo are free to start another studio. The L&B
gang are very upset, Alan and Monica are upset at EdQ [someone called EdQ "a
 weasle" - to the writer reading my posts, *Nedly* is Weasle]. AJ, relieved
of being the whipping post for now, even takes a poke at EdQ and makes a
comment and everyone , All Together Now, says

                    "SHUT UP, AJ!"  EdQ tells everyone tough noogies and the
convention breaks up. Keisha comes a bit later and AJ teases her by hiding
his glass of quinine under a chair. Keisha expresses her concerns and AJ
warns her to get out before the Q's crush her.
