Well, my local affiliate messed around with the commercial blocks,
putting one after the introduction a la pre-OJ, and then going directly
from the teasers to the credits. This didn't happen either Wednesday or
Friday, so it might have had to do with the press conference on a local
kidnapping that they had during OLTL, and maybe they were catching up.
There were also two of the "General Hospital will continue in a moment"
middleshow announcements. Confusing. In any case, I did get the whole show.

SERENA'S BIRTHDAY
Lucy, in a stunning black-and-gold negligee, is gazing sadly out the
window. Kevin comes and asks why: she's sad about Serena, this is her
2nd birthday. Two years have gone by just like the snap of a finger, and
she wants her own terrible two. The doorbell rings, and it's a picture
and letter for Lucy. The picture is of this adorable toddler. Kevin
remarks on her utter joy in life. Lucy wonders who's taking care of
Serena, and wishes she and Scott were back, but it would complicate her
relationship with the Doc. Kevin, however, would be willing. He finds
the letter, and she wants him to read it. It's from Scott, telling about
Serena.
Lucy wants to buy a frame for the picture. Kevin is pensive
now. He's been thinking serious thoughts. He asks Lucy if she wants
children. (The woman was scared to commit to living at the lighthouse,
for goodness sake!) She ponders this. In the cosmic sense, yes, but she
doesn't have that kind of luck, and *right now* her life is working out
well. Kevin begins to realize he isn't ready either. [This is the most
intelligent decision these two have made for months!]

TOM'S DAY OF RECKONING
Tommy is complaining about Simone wanting him to wear boots and
coat, "I'm not two years old, Mommy" [nice segue from Lucy wanting a
terrible two!] Tommy doesn't want to go to dinner with Simone and
Justus. He has to eat with Daddy because Daddy needs him. Simone
reassures Tommy and they agree to discuss it with Tom. Simone is a bit
taken aback to hear that Tom is at Felicia's.
Maxie is going to be late for the bus, but she wants her rocket,
and she wants it NOW! Tom is having a hard time dealing with this. In
come Simone and Tommy, and Tom attempts to reassure Tommy that he'd be
all right eating alone. Felicia will take care of Daddy, says F.
Simone, again, doesn't look delighted, but *I* thought Tom did very
well. Tommy comes running back to hug Tom.
Felicia and Tom talk again and Felicia urges him to get
professional help. She agrees that Tom should ACT like an adult till he
begins to feel like one.

NED'S LUCKY DAY
Katherine and Mac are, where else, in bed yet again. She wants
to stay in bed, but he has things to do, people to betray. Garcia comes
around "the mudhen has landed" and tells them he has the Sonny-Damian
connection. He wants to get Sonny first, than Damian.
Mac goes to the gatehouse to tell Ned the good news. Ned will
send him a check. Lois overhears this. She confronts Ned, she is
furious. Ned dimples at her. He agrees the timing is bad, and he went
behind her back, but he is only protecting her. They fight over Sonny
and he admits he's jealous. Her heart and backbone melt, and she
forgives him [DARN!!!!!] but she is going to see Sonny. She tells Ned
it's not his business. He gets his coat and goes with her. [ARGH!!!!!]
At LUKE'S, for no discernable reason, Lucky drops by for some
crap dice. He goes to the back room, but apparently doesn't stay to
eavesdrop, so I've no idea why this was there. Lois and Ned [DOUBLE
ARGH! Where is Lois' spunk when she needs it most?] come in. Lois first
compliments Sonny on Stone's memorial service. She's there, however, to
talk business. She wants him out. There are rumors of RICO takeover.
Ned apparently has been talking to Harry, as he mentions "the word on the
street." Lois leaves [why?]. Ned says to Sonny: "Name your price." He
doesn't understand Lois' loyalty. He talks about Sonny being smug
[looked in a mirror lately, Ashton?] Sonny will not leave L&B.
After Ned leaves, Sonny wants Luke to buy him out of the club.
He's protecting his friend, which Lois is no longer. Luke doesn't have
the money. He looks at the camera and says "Who in this town can I stand
to be in business with?" Yes, indeed, the next scene is Lucy! What a
great idea, which as you know, came to fruition on Friday.
Katybelle has trouble leaving Mac's office. He reassures her.
