Regrouping in Port Charles
--------------------------
Lucky and Emily have returned to Port Charles and the Spencer house. Lucky
has figured out his parents took off in a hurry and that no one is home. He
also figures he and Emily are safe for some time while his parents are off to
Pasadena. Emily doesn't know what to do now that they've hit a dead end.
Lucky speculates that maybe it was supposed to happen that way and not finding
her aunt is a message. Emily tries to take a nap but has no luck sleeping.
Over tunafish sandwiches they discuss her options. She really doesn't want
to go back to the Quartermaines but can't see herself telling them she can't
find her aunt, no one else wants her and that she has no place else to go.
However, Emily also recalls the time when she was in the cave with the snake.
First she was wanting her mother, then wishing Alan had been there to protect
her. And faced with possible death she also thought of Monica and wanted to
make up with Monica before she (Emily) died and wanted to tell Monica that it
wasn't Monica's fault. Just that Monica had been trying too hard. Emily
figures that if she goes back to the Qs Monica will once again try too hard
while also being angry. Lucky advises Emily that she doesn't have to make
her decision immediately. He figures they have lots of time before his
parents return from Albuquerque and Pasadena. Hmmm...Lucky, I think they'll
be home before you know it. :-)

Those Numbered Accounts
-----------------------
Katherine visits Mac at the Outback after the lunch crowd is gone. She
is tired having to look over her shoulder in case a hit man is after her and
wants the shadow that is looming over their relationship to be removed.
Katherine wants to get Damian off her back, out of everyone's life, even
out of Lucy's and hands Mac a piece of paper. It has some of Damian's
bank accounts that have connections of considerable interest but she balks
at Mac giving the information directly to the cops. With Sean gone she
figures Damian will finger her and Mac as the ones passing the information
along. Mac decides they need to find a third party who wouldn't mind passing
along such information to the cops. Mac is talking about coming up with a
plan when their conversation is interrupted by a call from Robin. She wants
to see Mac immediately at the penthouse.

Sonny is back from Philly and is visited by Harry at LUKE'S. Harry has
managed to get the money Sonny needs for Stone's medical bills transferred
from the offshore accounts by using a loan to the Port Charles Enterprises
Lounge account. The amount is $18740. Hmmm....might we hear that number
again? Sonny is appreciative knowing that Harry hadn't had time for the
careful "washing and ironing" of the $$. When the conversation turns to
Philly and Sonny mentions one flaw Harry assume it was Brenda and is reamed
by Sonny for that assumption. Sonny's only dealings with Brenda are because
of L&B. A little later Brenda stops by ostensibly to find out from Mike
if there is any news from Luke about Lucky and Emily. Mike has none but
is encouraged that Luke and Laura went off together. He hopes that will
get them back on track. Mike figures Brenda has more than Lucky and Emily
on her mind. Yes, she needs a hug. Just as he hugs her in walks Sonny
trying to figure out all the medical bills. Mike tries to get Brenda to
spill but with Sonny there all he gets is she doesn't know and wishes she
could it out and get it settled. With Sonny giving them looks from afar
Brenda decides to leave. Mike gives Sonny what for for playing mind games
with Brenda. Sonny claims there are no mind games going on, there's just a
truce for Stone's sake.

Quartermainia
-------------
Monica sees Alan's shaken look and figures he has bad news about Emily.
No, it's about a patient. He doesn't want to break confidentiality but
Monica encourages him. She won't say anything and he needs to spill.
Monica is shaken to hear Robin is HIV+. The sad mood is disturbed
by a depressed AJ. Alan and Monica suggests he should have gone to Philly
with Jason but AJ figures the blues and a dark room filled with people
drinking wouldn't have been the best idea. Then in comes Jason fresh from
Philly. He relates how Mary Mae wowed everyone but wishes AJ had been there,
say for support when Jason met Keesha's family. Alan and Monica head off
to check with the Spencers. Jason heads off to class. Edward returns
in a sour mood after a 2 hour flight that should have only been 45 minutes.
AJ wants to talk with Edward about his future but Edward wants no parts of a
discussion with AJ. AJ won't let go so they go at it. Edward is unwilling
to make an concessions for AJ's troubles with the foundation, even if AJ was
manipulated and setup. AJ brings up the troubles of other Quartermaines,
Ned's bigamy and Alan committing manslaughter. He even throws in Edward's
"mistake" 50 years ago that resulted in the family Edward met at Mary Mae's
concert. Alan comes in reminding them that this type of "discussion" is what
has driven Emily away. Edward blusters and takes off. Alan reminds AJ that
Alan has been the recipient of Edward's bluster as well so he know how it
feels. Alan needs to go to the hospital and asks AJ to drive. They can talk
on the way. Alan goes to tell Monica where they're going and when he's out
of the room AJ downs a drink and it wasn't water folks. Later the phone
rings. Monica is horrified to hear there's been an accident. Alan is in
emergency and AJ has been arrested for drunk driving.

Ok...Tissues at the ready....
Facing the Truth
----------------
Kevin tries to assure Robin that her reactions which she calls denial are
normal. He also tries to assure her she's not on the same road as Stone.
She doesn't have full-blown AIDS like Stone did when he found out he was
HIV+. He courages her to come to terms with her diagnosis so she can do
the right things for herself. Kevin also suggests she tell Mac, not because
Mac needs to know but because she needs Mac. He also poses the big question
before Robin, whether or not to tell Stone and suggests that she could use
Mac's advice. Before he leaves Kevin reminds Robin of all who love her,
but especially Mac and encourages her to let Mac be a part of this from the
start. As Kevin leaves the phone rings. It's Sonny and while he's back
from Philly he's got business at the club that will take a couple of hours.
A little while later Robin says "Daddy I'm so scared" and Robert appears,
replying "Why shouldn't you be." She's not scared of being HIV+ (well she
is terrified) but is afraid of telling Mac and hurting him as Mac has felt
like he's let Robert down. Robert then gets Robin to consider what it would
be like if she withheld the information from Mac now, only for him to find
out down the road. Robin realizes Mac will feel even more that he's let
Robert down. They agree there is no easy way or right way to do it. Robert
sits down beside her as he reminds her he and Anna taught Robin to value
truth and honesty. When Robert calls her brave Robin doesn't feel brave so
Robert talks about the different kinds of courage, especially the courage
to do what is right and the courage to support others. Robert feels Mac
hasn't failed him and will do right by Robin. He enourages Robin to trust
Mac. Robert kisses Robin and walks off towards the terrace doors and is gone.
Robin calls Mac at the Outback and he hightails it over to the penthouse.
After telling Mac that he there because of her not Stone they sit down. Robin
manages to tell Mac why she had Alan give her another HIV test and that she's
HIV+. Mac is clearly stunned but it's only a moment before he gathers her
in his arms. Robin's sorry but Mac won't blame anyone, not her and not
Stone. He loves her. What's happened has happened. He points out that she
and Mac are luckier than Stone who didn't have any of the advantages she has.
Love and care. She has time, love, strength and courage. Robin has doubts
but Mac doesn't because she has him and he promises he will never let her
down. Robin now wants Mac's help. Should she tell Stone the truth? Robin
is concerned about hurting Stone but also can't see herself lying to him and
tiptoeing around the truth. When Robin talks of no lies between her and
Stone so far, Mac points out that may be her answer. She should think about
it but do what her heart tells her is right. Whatever her decision Mac will
be there to help her. As Mac and Robin hold each other again Robert is seen
watching them.

Till Next Time
