                           General Hospital Update
                               Tues Oct 31 '95

Good show, setting up everything for sweeps month.

Robin is getting ready to visit Stone, and notices that Mac is bummed. Mac
tells her that Natasha didn't break off with Boris. Robin is suprised and
offers support. As she leaves, Natasha arrives. Much to Mac's [and mine] she
talks her way back into his good graces, all the way to his bed.

Fily is setting things up for Maxy's Bday and Halwn party. Simone comes by
with a too large Ninja suit, which is perfect since Maxy's is too small.
While the exchange is made Simone talks to Fily about Tom. Fily makes the
point that he should up for her when noone else did, so she has no problems
sticking by Tom now. Simone grudingly says OK, then says she will make sure
that Justus doesn't come by tonite.

Tony is in Steve's office pressing his complaint against Dr Practical. Tony
wants the guy fired. Tom comes by and asks Tony if he can stick around to
back him up. The two T's air their complaint and insist he gets canned. Dr
Practical overhears at the door and says they would be making a big mistake
if they did so. Doc Prac comes in and presents his [convincing] arguments.
Steve says he can't make any decision and will have to consult the board.
Steve leaves. Tony is steamed as is Tom. Tom says that his father has gone
soft & not willing to do the right thing and uphold the Hippocratic. Alan
then comes in with the tests results for Stone.

In Stone's room , Robin and Prince are keeping him company. The three docs
come in and Stone tells right away that the news ain't good. 3Docs tell him
its lymphomania and malignent. Stone has done some studying and knows that
this is it. There is no cure and the only treatment has vicious side effects.
Stone says that's it, he his outta there. Prince asks how long will Stone go
without treatment --- about 5 weeks. Is there a cure out there --- no. Is
Stone right to check out of treatment --- yepp. The 3Docs leave. Robin is
crushed and tries to Stone into treatment. Prince is upset and leaves the
room. Stone argues with Robin and presses home the point that he is better
off being lucid and with the people he likes then drugged out and in pain
anyway. Robin accepts this and goes to check out Prince. He is in the
hallway, sobbing. He tells Robin that he will go out to make Stone comfy and
that Robin has an open invitation. The 2 go back into the room and are
suprised to see Stone dressing. He says he is going to Maxy's party. Robin is
startled, but Prince says, why not and besides, What kind of trouble could
Stone get into anyway. They sneak out.

The party starts. Fiily is quite fetching in her mermaid getup. Tom comes as
a pumpkin with a guardian pumpkin for Maxy. Emily and Lucky come dressed as
hobos and Maxy goes goo-goo eyes over him. Emily and Lucky make their plans
for the Boston escapade, leaving that night. The Jones family comes, the kid
and Tony wearing bones costumes and Fily cracks

             "Ahh, skeletons in the closet."  In comes Kevin, Mac and Natasha
and Simone with TomJr. When Simone sees Tom and Fily standing next to each
other she gets green eyes. Stone arrives, and of course bumps into a suprised
Tony. Tony doesn't cause a scene.

Note: Fily's reference to Tom was way back when, Ryan Chamberlain was
wreaking havoc. Part of the machinations had everyone believing that Fily was
crazy, but Tom stood up for her and fought on her behalf.
