GH: Dull Update for a Dull Episode: Monday, Oct. 30, 1995
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tom and Felicia make smalltalk while sipping Irish coffees on the Outback
patio.  Inside, Lucy frets over having to tell Mac the bad news about
Katherine not really breaking up with Damian.
At Katherine's, Damian is still furious that Katherine has made a fool of
him.  She tries to explain her way out of it, saying that she didn't want
to hurt him.  The way he sees it, she didn't want to hurt herself.  She
wanted to have her cake and eat Mac too.  He reminds her about how he took
care of her when she was shunned and scorned by the rest of the town, that
Mac wouldn't have done that.  [Did I miss something?  Isn't she still
supposed to be shunned and scorned by everyone but Mac and Damian??]
Lucy tells Mac how Katherine must've lied and how Damian was taking the
news.  Mac took off.
Tom and Felicia inspect the intricately carved pumpkins on the Outback
patio.  They compare the faces to various PC residents.  (This was all
very visual and darn funny.  There was one I swear looked just like
Edward.)
Lucky and Emily talk on the phone about their cash and credit situation
for when they hit the road.  The Foundation crew comes into the Q den
where Emily's talking on the phone.  Justus and Simone leave, then Jason
and Keesha suck face.
Damian threatens Katherine with prison if she were to be stupid enough to
open her mouth about Damian's illegal dealings.  He does his evil best to
scare her to death, then wishes her well in her new life with Mac...as
long as she doesn't come slithering back to him after she grows tired of
Mac.  Mac arrives just as Damian exits.
Emily skips out to the patio to continue her talk with Lucky.  They make
up a list of the stuff they'll need to take with them...flashlights,
towels, camping kind of stuff.  She hangs up and heads back in to the den
where AJ has just come in, wanting to know from Jason and Keesha how the
Foundation meeting went.
Justus and Simone run into Tom and Felicia.  Tom makes snide comments as
only Tom can.  Felicia tries to calm the scene, but Tom won't let up.
Justus manages to keep his mouth shut.
AJ beats himself up some more over the Foundation scandal.  Jason and
Keesha give their support.  When Jason and Keesha leave, AJ pours himself
a drink.  Then Monica walks in.
Mac asks Katherine how long she was planning to string him along.  She
replies just long enough for them to get a good start with something
"real."  She tells him how much she needs him right now, and he says
that's tough.  He says that listening to her is one mistake he'll never
make again, she blew the only good thing she had going in her life, and
then slams the door on his way out.
Monica reassures AJ what a wonderful job he did at the Foundation,
regardless of the bad publicity from the setup.  She asks him what he's
drinking...he says water.  She doesn't think he's drinking these days,
does she?
Lucky's on the phone with Sly.  He won't give details but tells him he's
taking off.  Sly eventually coaxes the plan out of Lucky (about Emily) but
Lucky won't divulge where they're headed.  [Sly is looking good, but he
really needs a haircut!]
On the steps outside the Brownstone, Tom and Felicia continue their
banter.  Tom is trying to move on with his life, but having Justus so
close to him (and Simone) just works his last nerve.  Felicia thanks him
for the evening and leaves.  Tom then fantasizes about Simone in bed with
him, talking about spending the rest of their lives together, romantically
happily ever after.  He snaps out of it and goes inside.
Mac gets back to the Outback and angrily smashes one of the poor,
unsuspecting pumpkins on the patio.  Katherine sits at home whimpering
about her lost loves.
