Date: Mon, 30 Oct 1995 10:46:31 CST From: U14780@uicvm.uic.edu Subject: GH: Update for Fri 10/27/95 The General Hospital Update for Friday, October 27, 1995 Written By: kathy%gundog@lbl.gov (Kathy Ellington) Recap of 10/23-10/27 from the Contra Costa Times Newspaper (Calif): Miguel said good-bye to his friends and to Lily before leaving on a concert tour. Mac and Kevin used electronic equipment to produce Ryan's "ghost" and to prove to Lucy that Maia faked the first appearance of the "ghost". Lucy later walked out on Kevin. Before returning to Chicago, Maia warned Lucy to beware of Damian. While under the influence of strong drugs, Stone told Robin to forget about him but she refused. May-Mae talked to Stone, who briefly considered suicide. Robin cut Stone's long hair in preparation for surgery to biopsy the tumor on his brain. Tom and Simone's divorce was final but Justus saw that Simone was jealous to when Felicia and Tom left on a date. Lucky ran off to Boston with Emily who wants to find her mother's sister, Cory. The kid has left behind clues for Luke and Laura, though. Damian threatened Katherine after she spent the night with Mac. Stone wants Brenda and Sonny to patch things up. =========================================================================== In Stone's Room at GH ========================================== Stone, who looks only a million times better without that shtoopid Prince Valiant [ask your parents, kids] hairdo, is visited by Sonny. The kid had a brain biopsy but we won't know the results until the next day. Brenda pops in to visit the kid and Sonny starts to leave. Stone begs the two of them to not be so angry with each other, at least in his presence. They agree. Later on at Luke's Club, Sonny admits to Luke that he's been angry for so long, he doesn't quite know how to be "not-angry"! The Kidlets plan to Hit the Road ========================================== Lucky and Emily make plans to blow Port Chuck and hit the road in search of Emily's aunt Cory. Lucky has an ulterior motive, though. He thinks that if he "runs away from home", then Luke and Laura will reunite on a road trip when they come to find him. The more time they spend together the more time they'll have to work stuff out [yah, right, kid. Or the more time they'll have to work up a real good hatred toward each other]. He gets some private-eye tips from Mac about how to find missing people. Miss Lucy, the Mouth that Roared ========================================== Ms Coe blows in to Luke's Club in search of a friendly shoulder to cry on. She pours out her tale of woe, about Kevin and Mac and their bonehead plan to expose Madame Maia, to Mike and Luke, who are NOT overly sympathetic. After an umbrella drink or two, she mellows out. Damian strolls in; Lucy had invited him to a business dinner to discuss their new venture. He tells her he wants to rename the low-rent Dayco into something classier like the CS Emporium [the first thing that sprang to my over-40 mind was CS=chicken shit but, hey, that's me]...the CS meaning "Charles Street"...gag. They chat a bit and then Lucy, trying to make conversation, remarks on how well Damian is handling being dumped by Katherine. He mouths some inane reply but there's a dangerous glitter in his eyes. All of a sudden he excuses himself and tells her he's got to leave NOW. Then it dawns on Lucy that maybe big "D" hadn't realized he'd been dumped. Uh oh! She scrambles over to the Outback Club to warn Mac that she's spilled the beans. Meanwhile, in another part of town Katybell answers a thunderous knocking at her door. Damian pushes his way past her and grimly tells her that she's "made a big mistake"!! Ned and the Idle Rich bitch to Lois ========================================== Ned and the band meet with Lois at the Outback. The Idle Rich want a new look but Lois doesn't want them to change. In a comic series of fantasy shots, she imagines Eddie and the band as a punk rockers, folk singers, grunge guys, etc. end end send comments, questions, and flames to kathy%gundog@lbl.gov end end
