                              General Hospital Update
                                  Tues Oct 24 '95

Brimbo and Prince by Stone's hospital room. She tells him McUgly is off on a
tour. Prince is suprised that she didn't go with him. She huffs a little and
informs him that all the logistics are being taken care of by the group down
there and she is not just a plaything. She'll go down a bit later, if the
business need arises. Their conversation is quite civil and somewhat
friendly, ie. 'things get back to normal'; 'whatever that is'; chuckle -
chuckle. They part company.

Prince meets up with Lilly at Luke's. They catch up on the news. He tells her
that there are still some loose ends between him and Brimbo and that Brimbo
and him reallize it. Lilly is very supportive. They have fun.

Luke asks Mike about Amy [who's that :)]. He tells him things are so-so. She
gets angry at him when he doesn't call at the time he says he will. He asks
Luke for advice but Luke quickly backs off, pointing out his shingle is down.
He is shocked when he turns around and see Lucky arriving. He immediately
asks what's wrong and Lucky [doing teen angst VERY well] says everything.
Luke is very angry that Lucky has broken the rules for no good reason. Lucky
and Luke than basically fight about the family situation.

Brimbo comes looking for Lois (who is taking in preparation for making a
movie) at the studio. Since Lois is unavailable, she tells Weasl that she
still has something for Prince. Weasl is heartless and tells her to get over
it. She gets angry at him and tells him this isn't about logic but emotions.
Weasl doesn't care and insists that she is betraying herself.

Monica is sitting with Lila when Reg comes in with an unmarked package for
Monica [don't ask]. It contains a portait of her and a card from a 'secret
admirer'. The ladies try to figure out who it is from. Its not Alan. Alan
arrives a couple of minutes later and Monica shows him the portait but lies
about the card. Lila makes faces at Monica. Alan suggests its from a patient
and heads to bed. Monica tells Lila she knows she disapproves of what she
did. Lila points out that lies in the Q family tend to cause BIG trouble, but
this is such a delicious mystery ... Monica says it is no mystery who its
from - that she figured it out [my guess is tony].

Later on that day, Robin is hanging around a war weary Stone in his hospital
room. Much to his dismay, there is a knock on the door. MayMae comes in
bearing a gift of food. She can tell this is a bad time. Robin tries to cover
but MayMae is ok with leaving. Stone feels slightly guilty and engages MayMae
in a conversation about whether or not to just end it all. MayMae gives a
little speech [which thanks to the actresses ability didn't come off as
sickly sweet] where she says when she was all the way down it was still with
her that there was something to living.

MadaM is doing the seance thing, with Lucy and Kevin huddled on the couch.
The wind is howling, flames are bursting, items are flying around - Lucy is
terrifed and petrified (keep that in mind). MadaM is calling out for 'Ryan
Collins' and Kevin starts yelping 'Excuse me, excuse me'. Lucy can't believe
he is interrupting the chant. Kevin ignores her and walks over to MadaM and
says 'His name was Ryan Chamberlain, it's a long story but I thought you
would know- what with you being psychic'. MadaM replies with
                         L I N E   O F  T H E   D A Y
          "I was never any good with names." The play continues and we
finally get an apparation and voices. Kevin physically challenges it and
lands on the floor. Lucy is going nuts, MadaM has a serene, knowing
half-grin. Things are going smoothly, till Mac in the control room hits the
wrong thing and Kevin starts flying around like Wendy on her first flight. At
this point, MadaM loses it and just cracks up, laughing so hard she is in
tears. Lucy, who almost lost her cookies, is slow on the uptake. Kevin,
untangles himself and we get the final confrontation with MadaM. She admits
she was after Lucy's money and leaves [this is the very short version], Mac
comes up and says goodbye. Lucy is just furious. Kevin defends himself by
saying Lucy wouldn't listen to reason, etc. She gets even angrier and tells
him she wants nothing to do with him anymore and leaves. Kevin is left
wondering how did it all go so wrong. [then the real ghost of ryan comes
along and takes possesion of him. he chases after lucy, killing all in his
path by diagnosing them. those fortunate enough to escape rykev were unlucky
enough to be at lukes place which catches on fire when luke gets too close to
the kitchen and his hair catches on fire, engulfing everyone in the place and
half of port chuck. lucy faints away at the site of rykev and the bedeviled
kevin takes lucy off with him and they head off to jump start general
hospital in new york city as ny general]
