GH: Extremely Late Update for Monday, Oct. 23, 1995
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At Mac's place, Mac and Katherine are snuggling in bed, intimately sharing
their morning breath.
At L&B, Miguel, Ned and Lois are all happy about Miguel's concert opportunity.
In Kevin's office, Tony & Bobbie bicker some more about The Alan Affair.
She says it wasn't an affair because nothing happened. He accuses Bobbie
of choosing Alan for the affair because he was "safe", meaning she
(sub)consciously knew they'd never go all the way.  He says that Alan &
Bobbie's long-standing friendship would keep them both from going over the
edge.  Kevin asks her to consider Tony's theory.
At the Outback, Mac shows up with a healthy glow on his face.  Lucy drops
in and tells Mac & Felicia that tonight's the night for the exorcism.
Miguel arrives and breaks the news that he's leaving town.
Katherine gets home to find Damian waiting.  He's furious for the way she
left him in her tub the night before.  She tells him she wanted to avoid a
fight, so she left and got a room at some motel she doesn't remember the
name of.  He says she's playing him for a fool.  He warns her was angrier
than he's ever been in his life, then storms out.
In Stone's room, Miguel arrives to spread the news about his departure.
He promises Stone to sing his song at every stop on the tour.  It's not
said, but everyone realizes this is the last time Stone and Miguel will
see each other.  Robin cries.
Katherine goes looking for Mac at the Outback.  He isn't there, and
Felicia is of no help.
Damian calls Maia and wants reassurance that there won't be any problems
with the exorcism.  She wants his promise that there won't be any more of
his special effects.
At Kevin's, Mac hauls in a bunch of lighting, sound and video effects
equipment.  Lucy arrives, so Mac hides in another room to set up the
equipment.  Kevin assures Lucy that he wants to be rid of Ryan's ghost
once and for all.  Maia arrives and senses the spirit world is full of
energy tonight.
Robin goes back to Stone's room.  He bites her head off and snipes at
every little comment she makes.  It's the steroids affecting his mood.
She leaves and runs into Tony.  She tells him about Stone's mood swings
and anger.  He tells her it's the drugs.
At L&B, Ned and Lois are eating cold pasta, which Ned says is better than
Cook's.  She says she never thought in her life that she'd live in a
family where everyone referred to another human being as "Cook."  Ned then
hints around that he wants to make some changes to the sound and image of
the Idle Rich.  He wants to "reinvent" Eddie Maine and move the band in a
slightly different direction.  She's against the idea but says she'll keep
an open mind.  She then figures his impetus for change is that he's a
risk-taker, which he won't do in his personal live and is bored with doing
at ELQ.
Maia asks Kevin and Lucy for some background about the last time Ryan's
spirit appeared...his mood, the atmosphere, and so on.  Maia instructs
them to sit in the same places they were sitting last time.
Back in Stone's room, he apologizes profusely for ragging on her earlier.
She tells him it was just the drugs.  Then they hug and cry some more.
At L&B, Miguel and Lily say their good-byes.  She says she's so proud of
him; he says he hopes she finds what she needs.  They talk about their
past love and how that won't go away; and how Juan will always be there to
prove that.
Lily leaves just as Brenda arrives.  Miguel says he's packed and said his
good-byes, but this one with Brenda will be the hardest.
Back at the lighthouse, Maia's standing in a circle of candles with her
arms outstretched into the spirit domain.  Creepy sound effects begin,
doors starts opening and slamming shut, thunder claps, and we fade to
black.
