What works for Stone and Lucky does NOT work on you, kid. You look even more ridiculous than usual. =========================================================================== A.J.: Loser and Boozer ("I wuz framed") ========================================== At the Q mansion, Edward is snorting and blowing like an angry whale. Alan tries to stick up for A.J. and insists that the kid was set up. Justus, who agrees that A.J. probably WAS set up, also reluctantly agrees with Edward that A.J. should be removed from the board of the Charles Street Foundation. Monica zooms into the room and insists that everyone back off and give her little boy a chance to explain before they pounce on him. Ned enters the room and breezily announces that, as CEO of ELQ, he will pull the company's support from the Foundation if A.J. is not removed from the board by that afternoon. A.J. explains what happened from the beginning. There's no charity among the crowd, though, and Edward, Ned, Justus and even Jason tell him he's got to resign or be fired...for the good of the Foundation, of course. Justus reminds him that the Foundation has two catastrophes now linked to A.J.: the recent hooker thing and the mess about the government grants. The kid is too much of a liability. Ned harshly tells A.J. to "grow up and take some responsibility!" A.J. says he'll resign within the hour. Mother Monica tries to soothe A.J.'s savage breast [and speaking of savage breasts, whatever happened to the thread about A.J.'s large and pouty nipples? Am I the only one who remembers these things??]. Monica tells him the only thing that's important is knowing you've given a job your best effort [Thanks, Mom, for the loser speech of the century]. In Katybell's Apartment ======================== Kath and Damian catch the local t.v. news and bask in the warm glow of the "A.J. caught with Hooker" fiasco. They're still saying "Nyah-AH-AH" to each other when Damian suggests they catch some sweet and sour pork at a local restaurant and then repair to the nearest bedroom for some "hide-the potsticker" action. Kate surprises him when she turns him down and says she's going to Robin's party; Damian appears indifferent but you can tell he's suspicious and hurt by the rejection. At Luke's Club ======================== Sonny tells Luke that he dreads going to Stone's party because of the L&B contingent. What with Brenda and Mig-boy crawling all over each other and Lois being mad at him, poor sensitive little Sonny would rather stay home. LeLee blows in then and announces she's not going to the party either; too many bad vibes. This makes Sonny more pissed off and he vows to make trouble with Ned. After he's through at the Quartermaines, Justus picks up Simone and they head to Luke's for dinner. Tom drops by their table and creates a minor scene when he needles Justus about the Foundation funding a whorehouse. Justus lunges at him and Mike has to separate them. "Someday I am going to hurt him" Justus mumbles to Simone. At the Party ======================== Both Robin and Stone are surprised at the party. Stone gets his memory book and people read their letters aloud [yawn and fast-forward]. All is not sweetness and light, though...witness these scenes: Mac arrives with a smirking KatyBell on his arm. In front of Kevin, he requests Lucy to lay off the snide remarks about his new lady-love. Lucy fumes as Kevin speaks for her and assures Mac and Katybell that Lucy will behave; Katherine's rubber lips work overtime in giving Lucy a big fat sneer. The Bulwark insists that Monica get over being a bitch and forgive her for almost having sex with her husband. Emily overhears the angry words between them and listens as Bobbie accuses Monica of being the only "holdout" and carrying a grudge, as usual. Lucky whines to Luke that Laura should be at the party, etc. Ned and Brenda start to horse around a bit (neither Lois nor Mig attended the party). Sonny, who is irked by their behavior, won't stay away and asks Brenda if she's "spreading the wealth around?" Ned and Sonny both trade punches Post-Party Doings: =========================== At Kevin's Lighthouse ----------------------- Kevin and Lucy, who have left Robin/Stone's party and gone to Kevin's house, are settling down on the couch. The ghost makes an appearance seemingly right on cue. Evil chuckle then the creepy voice says "Keh-eh-eh v-ih-ih-n"... plus the accompanying green light. Kevin feigns fear. Lucy, however, is really terrified and clutches Kevin's arm. He asks her if Madame Maia will do an exorcism [this is going to be great]! At the Q mansion ----------------------- Monica tries to apologize to Emily again about fighting with Alan in public. Emily, cold as a little popsicle toward Monica, asks how could Monica blow off Bobbie who's been a friend for years? At the Q Boat-House ----------------------- Alone with the remains of the party, A.J. feels sorry for himself. He eyes the vodka bottle and picks it up. But wait! He is momentarily interrupted by Reginald, clearing up some plates. However, after Reggie leaves A.J. grabs the bottle again and lifts it toward his lips. He's got a wild look in his eyes, the wind is ruffling his hair, his nipples stand erect in the cool evening breeze...will he or won't he?
