Leaving Business Behind It Doesn't Matter ----------------- Laura is disturbed to hear Lucky had made plans to eat dinner at LUKE'S without informing her. She is even more dismayed to hear that the dinner is an "intimate" birthday dinner party for Ruby. Seems neither Luke nor Lucky thought Laura would be interested since it was to be at the club. Now that he hears his mom is interested Lucky thinks maybe she's changed her mind about the club, but no, Laura hasn't changed her mind. She calls Luke and asks about her "invitation being lost in the mail" so Luke just says she can come with a "More the merrier" quip. As Lucky heads out to the club, Tony arrives, he's her ride. It's a good thing Laura found out about the dinner party or else she wouldn't have known what Tony was talking about. She accepts his offer and then asks the whereabouts of Bobbie. Oops, that means Laura hasn't heard about the NY hornets nest. Without going into all the gory details Tony tells Laura about finding Bobbie in Alan's hotel room in her "dainties." Laura is floored. When Tony talks about keeping calm about it this time Laura asks with the LOD, "What about next time?" but immediately apologizes. Meanwhile over at the club Mike has given Ruby a present from one of the local lingerie shops. He almost gets a rise out of her. Bobbie informs Ruby about the NY fiasco so that Ruby is prepared should Tony be weird. In comes Lucky. He's warned away from the women talk and takes the opportunity to question Luke about how to approach Bobbie since he knows and she knows he knows and feels weird just thinking about it. Luke's advice is to treat her like Lucky has always treated her. [Hmmm, Lucky can we interest you in the SLAP Brigade?] Sonny and Lily arrive. Sonny has an advance copy of THE video for Ruby but it seems both Miguel and Brenda already have given her copies. Lucky grabs the video. They all stop talking as Laura and Tony arrive. Sonny's surprised Laura is there. Lily learns Laura has a problem with Sonny as Luke's partner and Lily thinks it's a shame Laura has to blame someone for her problem. [Hmmm, me thinks Lily is more her father's daughter than she claims to be.] As the Spencers and family celebrate Ruby's birthday Lucky comments how nice it is to have everyone together and that even his dad is happy. Luke's mutters "It doesn't matter." Ruby tells everyone her wish, that in another year her family will have gotten its act together. That spurs Laura to pull Luke aside. She wants to know what Luke meant by "It doesn't matter." Luke is willing to talk but only after Ruby is gone. Lobster, Again?!?!?!? --------------------- Filly is dismayed that Mac is taking lobster and a bottle of their good stuff for a dinner with KatyBell to celebrate KatyB's split with Damian. Filly can't believe Katy was able to break away from Damian so fast and easily and is further dismayed to hear KatyBell is keeping her business relationship with Damian until the projects they are involved with are concluded. Filly obviously doesn't trust KatyBell so Mac counters that since he does want to trust Katybell it's better that he find out sooner or later. As Mac walks out in comes Tom. Tom dumps on Felicia about Simone's news and how Tom took out his frustration on Steve. Felicia calls Tom on not seeing and not acknowledging what was happening between Justus and Simone. Tom asserts he's going to be better prepared for his upcoming battles. Later a customer requests one of Mac's exotic drinks. That means Filly has to get on a stool to reach the Russian liquor for the drink. Tom "catches" her as she almost falls. Together they make the drink and Filly pronounces it perfect. Meanwhile over at KatyBell's Damian is being contrite for having ignored his "fair" lady. He even is noticing her "glow" and thinks it's business related. KatyBell manages to get him to leave by claiming she's having dinner with a print reporter to discuss an article on Dayco and that she needs to prepare. Damian reluctantly leaves. Mac arrives with the lobster to find KatyBell dressed to the nines. Mac is all happy she split from Damian but KatyBell has a nervousness and jumpiness that Mac picks up on. KatyBell is none too pleased to learn that among Mac's friends who know about their budding relationship is Lucy. Sparing the detail of the meal, hmm, they managed to not show so much eating this time, Katy and Mac discuss their ideas about money. Mac and Katybell eventually decide to move to her tub and Katy sends Mac off with the wine and the glasses to draw the water while she cleans up. There's a key in the door. In comes Damian. He was feeling lonely and cold in his hotel room so to warm up and for some company he's back to see KatyBell.... Leaving Business Behind ----------------------- Jason gets Lila's go ahead for the party for Robin. She suggests AJ help but AJ has a hot date with Carla Guthrie. When he arrives, Carla gives him the grand tour. Following the tour she offers him wine but AJ declines in favor of juice. As they sip it, Carla leans over to kiss AJ and spills her wine on AJ's pants. Carla insists on washing them immediately. AJ is left in his shorts. When Carla returns from putting AJ pants in the washer she has changed into something "a little more comfortable." They talk of a "merger" and just as things heat up, the PCPD with Officer Rick burst in. They are looking for Carla Guthrie. They have a search warrant and information that she's operating a house of prostitution on the premises.
