From: njs@lhdsy2.lahabra.chevron.com (N.J.Spera) Subject: GH: Update, Wednesday, October 4, 1995 Date: 5 Oct 1995 15:56:02 GMT GENERAL HOSPITAL Wednesday, October 4, 1995 Today's Stories Revisiting An Original Relationship Nothing Happened! and Anger...Internal and External Revisiting An Original Relationship ----------------------------------- Lucy stops by Kevin's office. She wants to revisit their original relationship, when she was seeing Kevin professionally. Kevin's not so sure that's a good idea but Lucy convinces him she needs advice from him and she wants him to view the situations dispassionately. Kevin is alarmed but will hear Lucy out. She has a letter for him to read. It's from Maia, claiming Maia will *not" accept any money for the center from Lucy since Maia doesn't want to cause any more discord between Lucy and Kevin as that relationship is so important to Lucy. Maia goes on with another reason, that there is darkness and disharmony ahead for Kevin and Lucy. Kevin immediately figures that Maia means more Ryan and reminds Lucy that his past is off limits to Maia. Lucy agrees but will still listen to anything Maia has to say. Kevin says he's "trying" to take Maia at face value. They affirm their love. Lucy has another item for Kevin. Seems she's had the profit projections worked out if she would hook up with Damian and they look mighty good. Kevin tries to remind her of Luke's warning, the situation in Charles Street and how upset the Qs, the folks who own her company would be but Lucy claims that's just politics. All Lucy can see are dollars to be made. Kevin notes the conversation will be moot once Edward see the proposal, since he's vehemently against Dayco. Fearfully Lucy just figures all will be all right. (Voice of Doom #1) Later Mac stops by and it's obvious to Kevin that Mac's a little tired. Hmmmm. Mac is there since they still have to figure out what to do about Maia. Armed with the information in Maia's letter to Lucy, Kevin figures "Ryan" might make a reappearance. This time they'll be ready. Kevin will stay on scene, secure there premises and alert Mac. The code will be that Kevin needs a reality check, Mac will offer to come over, Kevin will decline but Mac will come anyways. Then they'll sweep the place. Nothing Happened! and Anger...Internal and External --------------------------------------------------- Alan brings coffee and juice to Monica in their bedroom and he is all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. Monica wants no parts of it or him. They take their argument into the hall drawing AJ, Jason and Emily out of their rooms. Alan accuses her of hanging him out to dry and blames it all on her. The argument continues as they all move down the stairs into the foyer where Reggie is surrounded by Quartermaines, those arguing and those just watching. Ned and Lois arrive as the argument moves into the living room where Lila and Edward are. Monica tells everyone about finding "her best friend, Bobbie, butter-wouldn't-melt-in-her-mouth," Jones in her husband's hotel room. Alan claims "Nothing happened" but *all* the Qs attack Alan as Emily can't believe what she's seeing. She finally runs from the room and only Lois notices Emily leaving. Lois tries to get Emily to go with her to the gatehouse but Emily just has to get out and off she goes. Lois returns as the Qs are at it fast and furious and utters "Holy mackerel!" Alan and Moncia take their argument back upstairs as the rest of the family tries to figure out what will happen. Ned thinks Alan may be telling the truth and all will work out. Finally Lois points out Emily had run off and they all acknowledge they need to pay more attention to Emily. Lois offers to invite Emily to a celebration for the near release of Mary Mae's CD. Ned and Lois head out and as they get to the foyer the fighting Drs. are also heading out. Ned promises Lois that will never happen to them. (Voice of Doom #2.) AJ and Jason are left alone to discuss the mornings events. Jason is worried about another divorce but AJ doesn't think there will be one, In fact AJ believes Alan. AJ does admit every time Alan and Monica fight like that he wants to head for the bottle but he doesn't want to destroy the progress he's made, even Edward seems to be proud of him. The one thing AJ is lacking is a girl and Jason wonders if AJ covets AJ's brother's girl. AJ claims no. AJ get Jason to say "convincingly" that he doesn't believe AJ would go after Keesha. (Voice of Doom #3) Meanwhile over at the Spencers Lucky's emotions erupt over a change in his lunch. Laura calls him to task on his testiness, attributing it to teenage rebellion. Laura tries to get him to see her feelings get hurt too but Lucky doesn't think his mother understands how much anger he is harboring and that she is the cause of it all. Emily arrives and Lucky can see something is wrong at the Qs. Emily doesn't want to talk about it for fear of exploding. Lucky understands and they commiserate. With Laura at the top of the stairs, she hears Lucky talk about how his mom doesn't understand how angry he is inside. Emily does compare living at the Quartermaines to being put in the middle of an alien space family where they where what they say and do has code underneath it all and she doesn't have the translator to break the code. As they're ready to go off to school Laura brings each of them a piece of banana cake as a treat for lunch. When Lucky offers to show LUKE'S to Emily it's ok with Laura. Now...at the Joneses it's all calm, a sharp contrast with the Quartermaines. Bobbie is taking a personal day, not wanting to run into Alan or Monica, but Tony is looking forward to running into Alan. Bobbie suggests Tony do what she's going to do, schedule an emergency session with Kevin. Bobbie is amazed Tony is "glad" it happened. For him it shows how wrong things have gotten. Despite the calm interior Tony is very angry. But, amazingly he believes that nothing happened between Alan and Bobbie. Tony is willing to play out the therapy so that at the end he can say he tried. Bobbie heads off to her session with Kevin. When she walks in she tells Kevin she's got herself finding trouble that could hurt a lot of people. She tries to rationalize that she and Alan were entitled to a little fun and that she was motivated by the excitement of a new lover. (Ah, the ho in her coming out!) When Kevin wonders if the phone call was a cry to be caught she claims she was only trying to protect everyone. Bobbie is worried about Tony's centeredness. For herself she wants an additional solo session each week before she does more damage. (That means Kevin has to see her THREE times a week. I hope he gets hazard pay.) Out at the nurses station Tony runs into Alan, much to Alan's dismay. Tony would love to give Alan a punch and takes off his jacket. Instead of spilling blood in the hall Alan would like to talk peacefully. Tony says...go ahead, explain as it fades to black.
