Here's an update that was posted to AOL yesterday, from Soaphia@aol.com.

General Hospital - Thursday, Sept. 28

Robin asks Mac about his plans for the evening -- Is he going to the
concert with Norma? Mac says no, uh, Norma is really Kevin. Robin
asks, incredulously, "Uncle Mac, what have you gotten yourself into?"

In the hospital hallway, Kevin and Lucy discuss his "masculine"
stubble...Alan overhears them as they discuss going to the concert..."At
least I'll be wearing a decent pair of pants," says Kevin.
  "Huh?" asks Alan.
Kevin makes up an explanation about updating his wardrobe...Lucy asks
Alan about his plans. He's going home. "Good!" says Lucy, approvingly.
"Home is where the heart is!"
  "Yeah, right." replies Alan.

Lila helps Emily with her quilting project...asks how school
is...explains how they had dance cards when she was young...Monica joins
them and suggests to Emily that they go to the concert tonight...Emily
refuses, saying she has too much homework, and leaves. Monica is
exasperated and asks Lila what she's doing wrong. Lila sympathizes and
reminds Monica that Emily is at an age where she needs to separate from
authority. In a way, Monica HAS succeeded in taking the place of
Emily's mother; she's the authority figure Emily's pulling away FROM.
"It's almost an impossible situation," she says. "She's separating from
you before you've even bonded." She sweetly advises Monica to loosen
up...

In her room, Emily talks to Raoul...says she doesn't know why she finds
it so hard to be nice to Monica. She talks heavenward to Paige...says
she's trying, but the wrong words come out. She expects Paige is
disappointed in her...But she doesn't know what Paige expects,
really...How could she? She gets angry at Paige for being gone...asks
how she can be expected to carry on as though everything was normal when
her mother has left her...and all she can do is miss her? "Mommy, why'd
you have to die?" she cries and hugs Paige's picture....

Alan tells Steve that a Dr. David Feldman, who works with Juvenile
Diabetes, is unhappy in his current position. Alan proposes he go talk
to Dr. Feldman in NYC over the weekend and try to persuade him to come
to GH. Steve approves....

Mac finishes explaining about Norma and Eve to Robin. She's amused.
But when she finds out Mac's going to the concert with Katherine, she
disapproves. Now he's amused...Look how the tables have turned! He
good-naturedly quotes her back to herself, "Live with it!" She rolls
her eyes and laughs....

Mac arrives to pick up Katherine for their date. She's got candles lit
already! She hands him a glass of wine and proposes a toast, "To
everything the evening holds in store..." He tells her Lucy found out
about Norma and Eve also...says he's gained new insight into
women..reflects on how he's tried to reform her...She tells him, "Don't
try to reform me; just enjoy me..." They kiss...Mac says, "Let's go!"
She's surprised he really wants to go to the concert.
"Katherine," he says. "Think build up."
She blows out the candles and they go.

Felicia and Tom are at the concert also. Felicia marvels it's the
second time in 2 weeks she's been out....asks Tom to pinch her. Tom is
flattered that she trusts him; he's not used to that anymore. Felicia
tells him Maxie's been enchanted with stars since Frisco's story about
the stars on the Serengeti Plain...

Kevin and Lucy spread their blanket next to Felicia and Tom. Lucy says
she's surprised at her best friend! "Who's that?" asks Felicia. "YOU!"
Lucy laughs. "You knew about Norma and Eve and didn't tell me!" Kevin
is embarrassed, but Lucy proceeds to tell Tom all about it. Before Tom
can laugh, Kevin reminds him that he's his boss. But Robin comes by and
laughs, "Uncle Mac told me what you guys did!!!" Kevin looks
chagrinned.

Lucy tells Kevin people are impressed at the lengths he went to for
her...and he's going to have to take a little ribbing. He still won't
concede that Maia's for real, although he'll give a little...but he
won't believe "Ryan's trying to exert a malevolent influence" on him
from the grave. "I think we need to kiss now, " he says. So they
do....but Lucy spots Mac and Katherine setting up their picnic nearby.
"Don't look!" she says in horror. "Bleh!!!"

Mac pours Kath some wine and kisses her fingers. Felicia stares. Tom
notices she's distracted and asks what's bothering her. "Not the WHAT,"
she says. "The WHO!"

Alan comes home and Monica tells him Emily's doing a beuatiful job on
Paige's quilt...and that Emily rejected her offer to go to the concert.
Alan suggests THEY go...No, says Monica, she was just trying to reach
out to Emily. Alan's discouraged, but keeps trying...He invites Monica
to join him in New York, wining and dining Dr. Feldman...Maybe see a
Broadway show? She refuses. "Why not?" he asks....

Mac says he's going to massage Katherine's body with lemon scented
oil....tickle her with feathers...(And more of that mushy stuff....)
Katherine giggles and coos...
Robin turns around and says, "Uncle Mac! PLEASE! You're in
public!!!"
Kath says, "Enough build up. Let's go!"
  So they go...Everyone notices....
  "Oh no!" says Robin.
  "Oh no!" says Lucy.
  "Oh no!" says Felicia.
  ("Oh no!" says Soaphia)

...Alan says he's in the mood for a wild weekend tryst. Monica walks
away, snapping, "Look, if you've got something hot lined up in New York,
go for it, pal!"
  He calls after her, "Monica!"
  "Forget it!"

Two men, apparently a gay couple (?), fill the spot left by Mac and
Katherine...One of them is in poor health. Stone notices them, gets
upset and leaves. Robin calls after him...

Mac and Katherine reach her place. They kiss. He really does have the
oil!!! This time it's Katherine who pulls away. "Before we lose our
heads," she says, "I really need to clarify something...."

Stone sits on a park bench, crying. Robin finds him. He tells her to
go back to the concert....She won't. "Did you see him?" he cries,
referring to the ill man in the park. "He has it! He's so weak and
frail! I don't want that!!!!" Robin tries to comfort him...She says
she loves him and all anybody has is love...That's all it's about. They
snuggle on the bench. Robin says he'll feel better when Jagger
comes....

Katherine promises Mac she'll resolve/end things with Damien when he
gets back from Milan...Mac looks at her...She asks, "No response?"
"Yeah," he says and lays her down on the couch. "Good." He kisses
her...

Alan pours himself a drink, closes the door, and calls Bobbie. He tells
her he's not coming to Rochester...asks her to join him in New York.
She worries Tony might find out...He suggests she not tell him..just
leave a phone number for the hotel to forward her messages in case of
emergency. They both question if this is the right thing to do. "Just
some time together," Alan reasons. "Just fun, no baggage... I've already
booked two rooms...." She agrees. They can't wait to see each other.
(Soaphia comment: Yeah, right, they're gonna need to two rooms....)

The concert continues. Tom asks Felicia if she likes it. She loves
it...says she has an idea. Tom says he loves it already -- when her
eyes light up like that, she's irresistable....Felicia suggests they get
tickets to the regular symphony season, which starts soon. He
agrees...

Mac and Katherine are on the couch. No clothing is visible above the
covers...They eat fried chicken...More kissing...They roll to the
floor...Fade to a statue...
("Oh NO!" says Soaphia again. (We all know what that fade to the statue
thing means....))

The end.
