From: njs@lhdsy2.lahabra.chevron.com (N.J.Spera) Subject: GH: Update, Wednesday, September 27, 1995 Date: 28 Sep 1995 17:11:52 GMT GENERAL HOSPITAL Wednesday, September 27, 1995 Today's Stories Latin Tempers Double Busted - Carpe Diem Out of the Mouths of Babes Latin Tempers ------------- Ok to get it out of the way.... Sonny and Lily are having coffee at Kelly's where Sonny has escorted her the morning after a "special" evening. There is tension in the air when Migless and Braindead come downstairs before heading to the TV station for a Migless interview. Migless wants to break the table over Sonny's head but Braindead figures that's not such a good idea, Migless can't promote his video from a jail cell. [Hey, that sounds like a great place to promote the video!!] Meanwhile Sonny decides he needs to talk to his artist. He's concerned Migless will be late for the interview. The exchange gets heated but Lois arrives to break it up before punches are thrown. Migless and Braindead finally head off for the interview as Lois worries about Braindead and damage control. Back in Kelly's Sonny offers to help Lily find somewhere with a better atmosphere to live but Lily likes Kelly's. She's off to get her stuff for school and as Lily heads upstairs Ruby kicks Sonny out of Kelly's. Double Busted - Carpe Diem -------------------------- The morning after being busted Mac recalls leaving Katherine at her door. Kevin arrives in a pretty good mood as they discover they're double busted. Mac learns Maia had figured out Norma and Eve before Lucy did. Mac didn't sleep well as he thought about being interrupted by Damian's message, something Kevin can relate to. Mac acknowledges he'd be jumping in feet first pursuing Katherine if Damian weren't a part of the picture but wonders if he's making a mistake. He's done a lot of thinking about how fleeting life is. Kevin heads out as he tells Mac "Carpe Diem," seize the day. Mac grabs his keys and heads out of the Outback. Katherine is surprised to see Mac at her door. Thinking alot about Robin and how she's living in the moment Mac has decided to be less rigid. If in order to explore what he and Katherine have, he has to do it in parallel to her figuring out what to do about Damian, well, he's going to do it. With that it starts to get a little warm but Mac wants to take a different tact. An old-fashioned date. He'll be by with dinner and they'll go hear music under the stars. Once back at the Outback Filly is upset with the mess Mac made of the inventory. She also wants to know what happened the night before with the she-devil. Mac admits he's seeing Katherine which sends Filly into a tizzy. She can't believe it and when Mac refuses to tell her more, ie, he never discussed personal stuff with other when he was with her, Felicia really goes ballistic. Mac doesn't care to hear her opinion and tells her to keep it to herself. Out of the Mouths of Babes -------------------------- Emily is eating breakfast and remembering the kiss she saw between Bobbie and Alan. When Monica comes in Emily wants to know about friendship, especially the friendship between the Joneses and the Drs. Quartermaine. Emily hits on the Alan/Bobbie friendship and Monica tries to explain how men and women can have friendship. However when Monica questions why all the questions Emily clams up and leaves. Of course just then Alan comes in. When Monica tries to discuss it with Alan he just claims Emily's a little girl. Monica like a dog with a bone continues figuring there must be a reason for Emily to be asking questions....and quotes "out of the mouths of babes." With that Alan quits eating and leaves. Later Monica is brooding when Ned pops in. She plays the "I need sympathy" song and Ned does stay urging her to unload. But Monica doesn't know where to start with her insecurities...the list includes the reconstructive surgery, her own mortality, her physical decline, the damage she's done to Alan and her marriage, pushing Alan away and of course Emily. So Ned asks which is most important. "Alan" she answers which Ned can't understand since Alan has stuck through all Monica's troubles. Ned advises her to get her mind straight about Alan and reach out to him instead of shutting Alan out. Once she's done that everything else will fall into place or at least be manageable. Meanwhile Emily has headed for the Spencers hoping to see Lucky but Lucky's already gone but Laura invites Emily in. It's the same old song for Emily. The Qs are so hard to figure out. She thinks she has then something happens to confuse her. With that she asks about Bobbie and Laura actually manages not to say what she would really like to say about Bobbie, only that Bobbie is unique and very much like Luke. Emily finally has to leave for school but once again is told Alan and Monica adore her and that though the Qs are not regular people they do love and are fiercely loyal. Off at GH Tony and Alan run into each other and Alan learns Bobbie is staying a few extra days after the trade show and also learns Tony is now invested in making the reconciliation with Bobbie work. Back at the Qs Monica thanks Ned for his advice and just as they hug in comes Lois. Lois can't believe Monica has doubts about Alan. Lois waxes poetic about how much Alan loves Monica... while....back at GH Alan gets a call from Bobbie. To straighten out her feelings she wants him to come meet her. He gets the number and will call her.
