                           General Hospital Update
                            Tuesday Sept 26, 1995

Well we certainly did get to see a lot of characters today. Let's see if
anyone is paying attention to this post.

Edq and Weasle are entertaining the City Planning Commisioner. Eventually,
they get around to DAco. The CPC finds it amusing that EdQ is complaining
about capitilasm in action. EdQ gives Weasle the nod and Weasle gives CPC
what is basically a bribe. He promises to give DAco his full attention. Lois
and Lila come in from the garden as the CPC leaves and Lila asks
                         L I N E   O F   T H E  D A Y

          "Well, did you two succeed in corrupting him?"   The men lie and
deny it. Lila says 'yeah, sure.' Lois wants to know if Lila is serious, and
Lila says she is. Then EdQ tells Weasle that since he created this Boris
monster, Weasle must take care of it. Weasle asks how, and EdQ says he
doesn't care. Lila and EdQ leave and Lois asks about Boris and Weasle. Weasle
tells her that Boris was an old school chumm and the only friend who had from
those good old days [plus, they have great chemistry together]. Lois says it
sounds like he missed that friendship and Weasle basically affirms. They
start talking about how to get rid of Boris and they decide that Tuby may be
the key. She doesn't like him because of his father and DAco. Perhaps she
knowns something that might link Boris to Frank's mob , or better yet, a link
to Prince and his mob. They go over to visit Tuby, and ask her point blank.
She tells them that she knows of no connection to Frank's mob but she will
keep eyes and ears open for Prince Mob connection [sheesh, talk about
ingrates! If it wasn't for Boris the Spencers would've been wiped out the
first month back in PC]. Oh, and Lois tells her that getting Prince would be
just divine.

Lucy unwigs Norma and has it out with Ryan. He argues back. Eventually, he
approaches her to make up. She rebuffs but then goes full hog.

Stone calls Jag and tells him that he needs to see him right away.

Tom comes in to the Outback after his disastrous post-divorce meal with his
parents. He gets Fily to stick by him and they talk about a few things. One
of them was parental expectations. Another was parental responsibilities and
this lead to Frisco. Tom blasts Frisco but Fily says it was her choice.

Natasha can't stop laughing in Mac's office as she sees that Mac=Eve. Mac
says she's only laughing because he is not in full gear and he assures her
that in full gettup he strikes quite an impressive figure. She figures out
that Norma is Ryan and Mac tells her why. They start doing some general
talking, as Natasha tells him that she has had it up to here (holds her hand
above her hairline) with Boris. Mac says what now, she tells him that he just
went off to Italy on DAco business without even a goodbye. She is willing to
talk more but she can't stop chuckling unless Mac takes off the dress and
changes. He does, with her back turned [good as anyplace to interject- i
realize this is a minority opinion, but i think MaryBell is more attractive
than Lynn] and she tells him that she wants Mac. He is more than willing and
cuts quite a handsome figure without all the makeup, etc. Off they go. He
tells Fily that he wont be available for the rest of the night. Fily is not
happy about the why. They get to her place and the doorway when the phone
ring and the answering machine picks up. She says to ignore it, but guess
what? Yep, its Boris. He says he is calling from Milan and apologizes
profusely for not telling her beforehand. It was something that came up all
of the sudden. [hey, Boris is serious about this DAco store being good. Lets
see, we have an economically depressed area and someone is willing to bring a
regional superstore to it. Aside from the forest this is a no brainer - go
with the big store as opposed to trying to build small places. Don't forget,
the vast majority of small stores go belly up within 2 years. And spare me
the local angle, where do you think the big store employees would come from?
i'd be willing to bet that Boris is using the forest as a poker chip. Enough
ranting for now.] Boris says that he misses her and can't wait to get back
and be with her and apologizes. Natahsa, who is obviously very hot, wants to
keep on going with Mac. Mac, once again, puts on the brake. She wants to know
why and he says he is doing it (or not in this case) for his own sake & goes.
