However for one item he needs Sonny's help. Stone wants to give Robin a ring, not an engagement ring, but something tangible she'll have after Stone's gone. Off to the jewelers they go. Before Stone looks at rings Sonny tells a sad story of going with his mother to window shop and how his mother was unable to afford a cameo ring she really liked and how once Sonny started working for Scully and had money the ring was gone. Stone wants to limit how much he spends so he can give some of his $$ to Sonny for medical bills but Sonny wants no part of Stone's money. Paying for Stone's treatment is the only thing Sonny can do. With that Stone looks for a ring. He finds nothing until the jeweler shows him a tray of antique rings. There's a cameo ring that's just perfect. BUT....too expensive. Sonny nods to the jeweler who informs Stone that whole tray is half off. Sonny is touched that Stone picked out the cameo ring. Stone heads off to meet Robin at the Outback. Boris and Natasha come into the Outback and a very busy Felicia lets them seat themselves. Damian wants a plan from Katherine to counter the article about Justus in the paper. Justus beat them in announcing the Daco plans. Natasha has a plan. They'll get on the evening news with a counterattack and Damian will have an explanation about Daco that will make Justus look bad. So off to the station they go. Veronica Boles is interested especially when he they stress Justus was only thinking of his own interests and not of Charles Street. Meanwhile Justus has his head in the clouds when he visits Mary May. Later they see Damian being interviewed as Boris puts a positive spin on the Daco store....construction jobs and a magnet to bring other folks into the Charles Street area. Boris also attacks Justus as being opposed only because of his political ambition and his connection to ELQ and the Quartermaines..."his family." Justus and Mary May see the fight has gotten dirty. Justus is off to see Luke to learn how to get down and dirty with Damian. Justus doesn't like it when Luke points out it's time to see Edward and get him involved, but Justus does agree to see Edward the next morning. While Mac tries to get Kevin moving, (it's been a bad day for Kevin being in other people's heads all day...right Kevin...those Boobie fantasies would be enough for anyone) as it's time for another outing as Norma and Eve. Mac is worried that they have been too close to Lucy, as Filly had warned them to most of all stay away from Lucy. Meanwhile Lucy has already arrived for the afternoon session and lets Maia know she has "plans" for Norma and Eve. When the session is over, Lucy puts her plan into motion. She talks up getting in on the foundation of Maia's center....and of course that draws in Norma/Kevin. Lucy suggests they discuss it over dinner and wants to take Norma and Eve to the Outback much to Mac's dismay. Seems Wednesday evening is "singles night" at the Outback. Off at the Outback Robin arrives with stilts for Stone. Since Mac is "off on a case" she offers to help out Felicia until Stone arrives. Lucy arrives with "her friends," Eve and Norma." They head for a the bar and Filly say hi to Lucy's "friends." One of the singles, Ernie, hits on Lucy but is unsuccessful. However, Lucy points him in the direction of "Eve." Both Lucy and Felicia get a kick out of Mac trying to fend off Ernie's come on. Finally Mac pulls Ernie aside and in his own voice tells Ernie to buzz off. The poor guys doesn't know what to think. Boris and Natasha return to the Outback and start to plant a seed about Charles Street with Robin but before it's fully planted Stone arrives. Meanwhile Felicia suggests Katherine go over to meet Mac's friend Norma. Filly winks at Mac. Stone talks about time and timeless things, and then gives Robin the ring. As he's doing this Katybell expresses her concern about Mac and this relationship with Norma but Mac is distracted as he sees Stone put the ring on Robin's finger. Stone tells Robin a happy ending version of Sonny's story when Robin wishes she had some information about the history of the ring. Meanwhile when Katybell returns to her table she has a befuddled look on her face as when she looks back at Norma and Eve.
