Date: Sun, 10 Sep 1995 18:07:35 CDT From: U14780@uicvm.uic.edu Subject: GH: Update for Fri 09/08/95 GH Update for 09/08/95 By John R. Andrews, UIC Scene 1 When Alan visits Monica at GH, she immediately starts to bitch at him nastily with basically her usual attitude. He snaps that she had better decide if she wants a partner anymore. Scene 2 Sonny shows Luke, Robin, and Stone the new penthouse which was the old Donely place. Robin points out none too subtly that it has a WSB installed security system should that be needed. Scene 3 Lucy and Madame Maia gush over the faux-females, Kevin and Mac; however, Madame Maia does seem to be a bit suspicious, and as they pass Felicia she appears to recognize them immediately. Lucy follows them to the bar where she blathers on about her spiritual growth. Madame Maia suggests that Kevin give a session on his new yet unpublished paper [is there really a paper or is it just a trick?]. Scene 4 Gail asks Alan about Monica, but he replies don't ask me talk to her yourself and see if you can help her. Scene 5 Monica is busy snapping at Bobbie like some PMS ridden turtle. When Laura shows up, Bobbie splits with a parting shot at her. Laura asks Monica if she could help in the Wellness Group, and they chat about their families, especially Emily and Lucky. They even briefly touch on the subject of sex between Lucky and Emily, but immediately shake it off saying they were too young. [Earth to Monica and Laura, remove blinders and take a good look at the "kids"] Scene 6 At the penthouse, Sonny offers his old place to Luke. Luke comments that Sonny's new digs must cost plenty, and when Sonny spends more than he makes, people get suspicious. Sonny assures him, all they'll find is an ordinary mortgage. Scene 7 Laura asks Monica if the new giant store coming to Charles St. is owned by an ELQ company. Monica says not to her knowledge. They wonder who does own it; of course, we know it's Damian. Scene 8 Robin and Stone moose around and reminisce about his old room at the club. Scene 9 Back at the Outback, Kevin begs off the session saying they forgot the paper at home [very suspicious]. Felicia, who has definitely cracked their pancake thin facade, toys with the boys; however, Madame Maia also picks up on the vibrations and watches closely. Scene 10 Gail drops in on Monica with a [to quote Dave Barry, I'm not making this up] miracle bra. Predictably, Monica accuses Alan of putting Gail up to visiting. Gail tells her she's acting like a spoiled girl. Monica admits she hears herself sound like a fishwife even though she wants to tell Alan she loves him, but just doesn't feel at all sexy. Scene 11 Back at Kevin's place, the drag duo having shed their skins and return to normal, suck down a few fast drinks and prepare for the cocktail party for Stone. Lucy arrives with her duck [hopefully and some orange sauce as well]. Scene 12 Felicia asks the bartending-bard to cover for her at the Outback while she heads over to Stone's party. Leelee arrives and gives Miguel a gift from Juan and quickly splits. Scene 13 At Kevin's, Sonny and Mac exchange "pleasantries" while people mill around. Scene 14 Monica tells Gail she's afriad if she makes love to Alan, she'll find out her whole sexuality is gone. Scene 15 At GH, Alan talks to Bobbie and says he's run out of patience with Monica and feels completely drained [well, in some ways that is]. Scene 16 As Mac and Kevin come clean with Felicia, Lucy interupts for a toast to Stone. In his response, Stone thanks everyone for their love and support especially Robin and Sonny, and with a touch of dark humor adds that his wish is that by the time they throw his wake, everyone could stand to be in the same room together. Afterwards, Felicia agrees to keep the guy's secret, and Mac watches as Stone emotionally embraces Sonny.
