                           General Hospital Update
                               Tuesday Sept 05

I didn't FF McUgly. He is still awfull, back to the button.
I was torn on LOTD and will leave it up to others to decide which should be.

AJ and Jason are giving Monica flowers in her hospital room. Alan is standing
off to the side, obviously majorlly ticked off. The boys ask why the secrecy.
Monica tries to explain that she didn't tell so no one would worry. The boys
don't buy it. They leave and Alan starts to go with them. Monica asks Alan
where he was going. She says she needs him. He says tough noogies. She just
wants him around so they could argue about her decisions and he is not
playing. He huffs off, kisses her and leaves and Monica looks bewildered.
Alan picks up his messages at the nurses stations, muttering to himself. Bobi
comes by and realizes there is big trouble when Alan, quoting Lucy says

                        "Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy"   (in a monotone.) and walks
away. Bobi says 'Oh boy' and in one of those rare cases in soap operas of
coincidental juxtapositions, Moncia rings the nurses station for help in
positioning herself on the bed. Bobi comes and Monica starts talking over
with her in gruesome details, the procedure. Bobi bring the conversation over
to Alan and family and they get into an argument about Monica's secrecy and
how Alan should be brought closer, not put off.

Weasle and Lois tell Brimbo their plan and she reluctantly agrees.

Tom goes into the Outback where Fily is setting up for the day. He looks very
bedraggled [is that the word?] . He had stayed up all night walking around,
thinking things through. He calls Simone and Justus and brings them over to
tell them that he has decided to stop fighting over the divorce for his son's
sake. Tom leaves and Justus rips him for being manipulative, with Simone
looking at him with a look that says 'what is your problem?' .

The boys get to CSF office where Keesha asks how Monica is. They tell her
that the operation was ok, then they start talking and worrying about the
apparant lack of arguing, and therefore communication, between their parents.
Jason talks about how they seem to arrange to be two ships passing in the
night, AJ ponders if it is anything new and figures they were shipped off to
boarding school so they wouldn't see this stuff. Jason, keeping in character,
wants to follow up on Keesha's suggestion of being a referee. AJ responds,

                        "Get a grip."      Jason persists, but AJ insists that
the best thing to do is to avoid heavy low flying objects.
At this point, Carla Guthrie walks in. AJ gives J & K a look and then he and
Carla start pulling each others legs, then banter in a flirting manner (J&K
providing color commentary). After she leaves with project approval (and she
calls Natasha to let her know), J & K tease AJ.
