From: njs@lhdsy2.lahabra.chevron.com (N.J.Spera) Subject: GH: Update, Wednesday, August 30, 1995 Date: 31 Aug 1995 16:07:51 GMT GENERAL HOSPITAL Wednesday, August 30, 1995 Today's Stories Tears of Relief - Safe for Now Bad Boys are Fun BUT Lust in Her Heart Tears of Relief - Safe for Now - - ------------------------------ Mac is concerned as Robin starts to cry and drops the phone as she gets the test results from Alan (which we don't hear). When Mac picks up the phone and talks to Alan he learns Robin is still HIV negative. He breathes a sigh of relief as tears start to well up in his eyes. Robin agrees to let Alan tell Kevin but she wants to tell Stone herself. Once the phone call is over Robin sobs in Mac's arms. Robin is still fearful of what might happen when she is tested again in two months but Mac encourages her not to live in fear. Robin realizes she needs to take a dose of the positive thinking medicine she's been pushing on Stone. Meanwhile back at GH Stone vents to Amy about the wait to hear of Robin's test results. Finally Robin calls Stone and gives him the good news. He is relieved that so far it looks like he hasn't given her the virus. Stone wants to see her but only 18 1/2 of the required 24 hours has passed by. Later with just 10 minutes left Robin arrives to see Stone and Robin holds him as the scene fades. Bad Boys Are Fun BUT - - -------------------- Lucy arrives late to a Deception photo shoot. Brenda is having a tough time focusing. In fact it's so bad she dissolves into tears and tells Lucy that Lucy was right. The photographer senses a break and starts smoking. Despite the fact that it's his studio Lucy sends him outside to smoke. Lucy finds out Brenda is talking about Sonny and Brenda wants to hear again why she shouldn't be with Sonny since Brenda is very lonely without him. Lucy hems and haws as she does like Sonny but Lucy points out that if she were in love with Sonny she would never feel safe. Lucy reminds Brenda about Joe Scully, even though that incident saved Lucy's life, Puerto Rico and the hits on LUKE'S and Sonny's place. Lucy reminds Brenda that Sonny dropped her and Brenda needs to move onward and upward. Lucy gets Brenda to think of her friends but as Brenda lists Ned, Lois and Lucy she wonders why Miguel who has been such a good friend is the kind of man she has trouble falling head over hells in love with. [Hmmm....Brenda shall we count the ways, starting with hair flipping] Lucy understands Brenda's need for fun as neither one is a "white picket fence" person but points out that there is a BUT when having fun with bad boys. It can be very dangerous. Lucy reminds Brenda of Lucy's string of bad boys starting with Kevin O'Conner. While Jake and Tony don't fit, Victor Jerome does and even Alan had his dangerous days. Lucy has also come to the realization that every time she and Scott were together they were scheming and into trouble. Lucy figures she is cured now [voice of doom]. Brenda wants to know how long it take the heart to get what the mind knows. As Lucy talk about Kevin and having fun, that she's not into danger anymore in comes Damian. Brenda goes to fix her makeup after giving Lucy a look. Damian's there for a friendly visit [sure Damian] and to see if Lucy's been insulted by his lack of pursuit. But Lucy hasn't missed him. He starts to leave but before he's out the door he mentions a business opportunity he figures Lucy wouldn't be interested in. Lucy is having a hard time rejecting Damian's offer but she definitely looks tempted. Meanwhile Katherine arrives at the Outback to thank Mac for being such a gentleman the day before. Thanks to his restraint (Damian not catching them in a more delicate situation) she and Damian have "reconciled". `[Hmmm good thing you don't know where Damian has been Katherine.] Katherine knows Damian is whom she should be with and if she should ever leave him she'd end up destroying both of them. She does want to remain friends with Mac. After telling Mac about the Tuscany trip Katherine leaves with Mac telling her to be happy. BUT....the way Mac wrings the cloth he's holding....he's not happy. Kevin stops by (after the Jones' session) and he and Mac rejoice in the good news about Robin although Mac realizes it's still a long road. He's grateful for the distraction of their mutual endeavor even if now the distraction is from Katherine. Mac has realized he's jealous of Damian Smith. That's an emotion Kevin can relate to. But Kevin doesn't really like the method they are using to protect Lucy. Lust in Her Heart - - ----------------- As Alan is leaving Kevin's office after telling Kevin the good news about Robin's HIV test he runs into Boobie arriving early for the Jones' therapy session. She thinks she needs individual therapy since there is stuff she needs to work on without Tony's presence. If she mentioned what's going on in Tony's presence he would be hurt and all the progress she and Tony have made will be lost. Kevin isn't quite sure not telling Tony is a good idea [ah....but just you wait Kevin!] Bobbie is feeling awful and figures she's about to ruin her marriage. Kevin tries to get Bobbie to cut herself some slack but then she hits him with "I'm about to have an affair." Even though she says she and the other person have agreed not to go through with it she figures she's about to ruin it all. Kevin picks up on and reminds Bobbie about her fear of happiness. Could this be her way of sabotoging her marriage. BUT....she has "lust in her heart." Just as Kevin asks Bobbie another question Tony arrives, wondering what he has missed. So....Bobbie talks around the truth by telling Tony she's not as happy as he is with the "progress" they've made. She feels empty and lonely. Tony is surprised she has been faking it. He claims that a different relationship (not the one they had before all the trouble) is ok with him but when Tony asks what Bobbie wants she doesn't know. Tony agrees to let Bobbie had private sessions with Kevin, he might even have his own. Tony is not exactly jumping for joy when he leaves. Once he's gone Bobbie tells Kevin that though what she said was the truth...it wasn't all the truth and what is worse she wants to have an affair with Tony's best friend and her best friend's husband.
